Got to get a feel of a no frills, cheap Hong Kong coffee shop. French toast was delicious and lived up to the hype. The Ham and Egg Bun was so-so. You could taste the burnt flavour of whatever was cooked last on the pan the egg was cooked on.
This place isn’t easy to locate as it is inside a hawker building. It is situated at a corner of the air conditioned cooked food section of the hawker building. Serves really simple and good breakfast, without much crowd.

Simple menu (English available). Busy but friendly staff. I just had the famous egg and beef bun which was delicious and worth trying. Mind you, there is green onion in the egg. The bun was a bit dry tho. Always full so be prepared to wait a bit.

I didn’t want to write about this place because I wanted to keep it a secret breakfast place for myself. I changed my mind because not letting the world know about it would be very unfair to the proprietors and to those how want that classic HK-style breakfast food so here we are. First know that this is not a restaurant; it is merely a stall in the “food court” of a local wet market (building) so adjust your expectation of the accommodations accordingly. The food also is not fancy by any stretch of imagination; you get the home-style, basic fried eggs, instant ramen noodles, and toasts – but oh the toasts! The “French toast” is done very well but is the most expensive. Note that most things served here are not of the “healthy” kind; besides the eggs which are fresh, most ingredients are from the cans (lunch meat or spam for those from the US and salted minced beef) but these dishes represent the breakfast food that has evolved locally since the mid-1940’s so there is a large component of nostalgia for those who love it. The coffee and the milk-tea are also excellent; try the cold milk-tea which is served in bottles; no worries about dilution by ice. This is how much I love this place: my last visit to HK lasted a week and we stayed at a place on the other side of the island; for straight three days we got up and took a 30-minute ride on the MTR to have breakfast here. I hope you will agree after you have a taste here.

Continuing my food crawl, this place specialized in cold bottle of milk tea $13 (a HK specialty) and their eggy French toasts $23. Great for quick pick me up. Actually it’s not that quick, they cook each to order and always crowded.

舊式風味。
西多士就是法式吐司加煉乳,鮮牛麵就是鮮嫩的牛肉加泡麵,牛肉好吃,泡麵也不錯。來這兩種都可以點來吃。
麵我吃掉了,來不及拍。
算是不錯的庶民美食。

朋友嘅餐蛋麵不過不失,個半生熟蛋就好夠鑊氣,香噴噴。另外佢嘅檸檬茶比較多冰,飲一兩啖已經淡曬,也少了🍋檸檬茶嘅澀味(個人口味)
而最後一樣係蛋牛治👍🏻👍🏻上檯時已經聞到蛋香味,食落熱辣辣,裡面d牛肉好juicy而且好足料,食嘅時候不停”嗶”出黎,要一路食一路搵隻手兜住,怕浪費食物
單單係食呢個蛋牛治再加杯奶茶都食到好飽😆
呢度檯唔多,目測好似有七八張,有兩三個人負責落單同煮野食,不過上菜都好快架,雖然不斷都有人黎食,不過流轉得好快,唔需要等好耐就會有位架啦
第一張相上有價錢,今餐兩個人總共食佐68蚊
唔知道大家有無留意到d價錢係用佐花碼標記,我都去佐google搵下代表幾多錢,呢個都證明呢間鋪頭有返d歷史😏

小店出品,食物質數算好,西多,蛋牛餐飽還好,奶茶就香滑,收費並不貴服務方面人手不足夠,衛生自己睇。

西多今日有啲燶🙅♂️ 但都叫保持水準,面包煎炸得仍然鬆軟,沾埋佢既煉奶,又唔似傳統西多蜜糖咁濃,同個奶茶既甜度一致
另外鮮牛蛋麵,就免期待喇🙄 公仔麵湯偏咸,鮮牛都仲係滑既😄 正常茶記麵一個囉😯
