Went there at around 11am. The whole cooked food centre wasn’t very busy. We ordered hot milk tea, beef noodle, spam & egg noodle, beef & egg sandwich and toast with butter & jam. Fascinating aroma from the milk tea and traditional flavour from the jam (占) without a fancy price tag. Always support little shops before they disappear.

I don’t care about the surrounding or the wet market smell, what I care is the HK oldies food. Live their bottle of ice tea and HK style baguette with scrambled egg and minced beef.

One of my favourite hk style French Toast. This place is a must visit if you are in the area. Go for the French toast and the ice-less iced milk tea that’s served in a bottle. For the instant noodle dish it’s just normal so focus on the French toast.

蛋牛飽 $20
麵包烤得很脆，裡面夾了碎牛﹑葱和煎蛋，雞蛋應該沒有加鹽調味，所以味道略淡，只靠少量碎牛帶出鹹味🙌🏻如果不太餓的話，吃一個麵包和喝一瓶樽仔凍奶茶就夠飽了😆
樽仔凍奶茶 $18
奶茶的茶味不算很濃，甜度剛好，整體算不錯！
西多士 $29
加蛋煎好的西多士 ，配上牛油和煉奶是想像得到的味道，驚喜不大但挺美味！

It was really a wasted trip to this food court. If possible, try the other stalls OR DO NOT COME TO THIS SHOP. SERVICE AT THIS SHOP IS TERRIBLE, THE WORST ONE I EXPERIENCED IN THE WHOLE WEEK IN HONGKONG. The lady at the counter was super angry and angsty (likely cuz of the lunch crowd). I found a seat in front of the stall and tried to order efficiently by showing her photos. She brushed me off many times and then took orders only from the locals who spoke her language (they came and sat down after me) and ask me to move. PLEASE, If you are a tourist like me, DO NOT COME HERE. I instead, went to Lan Fong Yuen (15 mins walk away) which despite the crowd, had very friendly uncles and aunties and served great breakfast. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS.
This is one of a best French Toast we have. The toast so crispy. The ice bottle mike tea and hot coffee are both good. I like strong coffee and the coffee here is strong enough for me.

Located in Sheung Wan Cooked Food Centre, Shui Kee Coffee is a Hong Kong institution. Always a steady flow of customers and expect a wait at lunch times. People mainly go for the French Toast, and milk tea. The French Toast is one of the best in HK. Nicely toasted with a generous amount of condensed milk. The beef, egg and noodles is good too. Service is friendly and the lady does a fantastic job taking orders, serving and accepting payment, by herself. Have to try the French Toast when in HK.

Pan Fried French Toast
If you don’t speak Cantonese, don’t even bother. The place is run by 2 angsty grumpy aunties who seem like they don’t even want customers in their stall. Took us 30mins just to place our order… we were waving to get her attention but she just seemed to ignore & look past us. Once we placed our order, us was another round of 30-40mins of waiting, only to receive our milk tea, amazing. In the end, our full order did not arrive. true HK experience 💓

You must come here and try the French toast.
I wasn’t expecting anything super but it was honestly out of this world. I’m not sure if they have it all day long, but you can come and just get it as a snack too. It’s very delicious.
I also got the cold bottled milk tea and it was quite good – this place is a must if you’re in the area
I had some trouble finding it but go into the Sheung Wan building, the ground floor will be meat and vegetable stand but go two floors up and you see a bunch of indoor food stalls

Legit, authentic and a local fave. For a tourist, it was a bit overwhelming trying to locate it, as it was also at the back area. But a good clue would be to look for the tables with the milk tea in bottles. The French toast was really really good.
