香港九龍吃煲仔飯的地方之一，每天都排著隊吃飯。在這裡吃飯，最好是邊排隊邊點，因為做菜有點費時間。位置很容易找到。味道還可以，價格有點高，但對這個地方的食物來說是合理的（50-80港元），很好吃，選擇也很豐富，牛肉，雞肉，豬肉，甚至煲仔飯鰻魚飯都有。免費提供茶飲，但歡迎您從這家商店旁邊的小酒館購買其他飲品，並單獨付費。本店的付款方式是食物必須立即付款（不是點餐時或吃完後不付款）
My favorite claypot rice when in HK – it’s local, unassuming & hey, they have English on their menu!
Everything here is cash only so be prepared. Drinks are BYOB, so just hope over next door to buy your own.
Their duck egg oyster omelette is A MUST and I usually go for the claypot rice that has Liver Sausage + Pork Ribs.
So Good… They open till pretty late too (think 2300?) – just try & come off peak to avoid queues.
每次來都會報到的，感覺漲價好多鹹魚雞肉煲港幣59元，比隔壁興記貴好多，因為店家生意很好人太多了，座位很擁擠出餐很快，都沒有吃到鍋巴，感覺味道大不如前耶！

Claypot rice here is well-known, however the rice does not have the burnt trademark and a lot of moisture in the rice. A little disappointed.

Taste sucks
I ate the Chinese sausage rice claypot for dinner here. I can here because Anthony Bourdain went to it and featured it in his show “No Reservations”. You wouldn’t know it being in there, though. There’s no real attempt to claim fame within it. The restaurant is very unassuming in decorations. The food is good and nearby the temple street shopping area. The rice claypot is kind of plain tasting so you will need to add soy sauce. Not a fancy place.

I was told this was one of the better claypot rice places in Hong Kong. I went kind of late at night around 9:30PM so there was no line. When I got there I vaguely remembered I had been to this restaurant a few years ago when I went to HK. Me not remembering this place wasn’t a good sign. The service was ok for a restaurant of this style. I went with the chicken and chinese sausage and tried the oyster omelette. Everything was pretty bland so you have to use the soy sauce on the table to add some flavor. I felt like there wasn’t much chicken in my claypot as well. The oyster omellete was good but definitely oily and somewhat bland so you needed to add some sauce with it. If I’m in the area I would come back, but I wouldn’t make it a point to come out this way just for this claypot rice or if there was a huge line I’d definitely go somewhere else.

Personally find it lousy. As I taste better one back in Singapore. Staff serving is Typical honger attitude, basically no customer service mind set at all. Take a look, ppl who recommend are local guide.
Overrated and a tourist trap. The clay pot rice isn’t any better than others. They don’t give you much meat and is not worth the 30 min wait.

The rice pot is very underwhelming and plain. There is plenty of rice but very little meat. What makes it worse is that I had wait in line for over 2 hours. Very disappointing.

I have tasted something better. It is very crowded and It usually has a pretty long queue outside the restaurant. however, the queue moves fast too, i guess the HK efficiency works here. They served claypot rice, scallion cake, and some veggies. Although stated above, it is still a good place to go for claypot rice, since it is located in downtown.

This place used to serve the best clay pot rice 6/7 years ago. I went there again last week and I will never go again.
-We waited for an hour
-Two groups of people behind us got the table first because of their poor assignment
-They took our order while we were queueing and we were not allowed to change our order a minute later
-The rice was soggy and sticky, when it is supposed to be chewy in the middle and crispy on the side
-The meat is tasteless, literally tasteless. I think they use the cheapest meat possible
Don’t waste your time. Go elsewhere… even Chinese chained restaurants have better clay pot rice than they do.

Utterly disappoinred by the food quality. We were recommended by friend to visit this stall and was delighted to get seated immediately. We ordered claypot chicken with chinese sausage and a plate of vegetable. The steamed vegetable is soft and nice. However, we were disappointed with the claypot chicken. It tastes relatively plain. The chinese sausage is extremelyyyyy hard and indigestible.

Line is a bit long, but well worth it! Every pot is fresh and hot. You can’t go wrong with whatever you choose on the menu. Super affordable and filling, will definitely come back!
