These were the best pan-fried buns I had in a long time, done just right. Good bite and juicy, just very hot. Very reasonable price. There is no dine-in area but def recommended for a quick pick-up when in the area. Will def come back.

Came here for their fried shanghai dumpling it cost 40hkd and they take credit cards it was really juicy be careful of juices popping out
We are very surprised to see totally no q at all… The very last time we visited is 3 years ago before covid, but we patronised this shop more than 10 times.
The standard is 100% drop…. The pao itself even is hard….feel very sad…. Won’t be back anymore…

尖沙咀指的是裕廊半島的南端,營造出一種似乎是英國和中國混合的氛圍。這裡是香港最大的鬧市區,可玩的地方很多,而這次要介紹的餃子館也在這裡。
這是一家餃子店專營生煎包,也就是上海風味的炸龍包,過去曾被米其林指南選為街頭小吃。全港共有三間分行,分別在灣仔和中環設有分行。
尖沙咀分店沒地方坐,要站外面一張桌子吃飯,其他分店好像是擺宴席的樣子。生平第一次吃餃子,不知道有什麼難受的。
因為是第一次來,所以點了一份招牌的Seongjien Pao,價格是40HKD。香港以物價高著稱,但考慮到四個餃子和街頭小販,這確實是事實。
然後,當我用筷子夾起來嚐的時候,雖然我沒有咬一口,肉汁還是滴了下來。餃子皮比俗稱的Soryongpo厚一點。
我不知道該怎麼辦,因為我被刺破餃子皮並從各處湧出的汁液嚇了一跳。還好不是很燙,但如果是現蒸的,就真的很危險了。
看包餃子的過程,發現只用油炸過一面,然後放入蒸鍋。可能這就是餃子皮整體感覺不是很軟的原因吧。
烤出來的餃子皮脆脆的就像剛出爐的一樣,香噴噴的很香。雖然餃子的調料有點咸,但我想我之所以能一下子把汁吃完,是因為餃子皮的緣故。
我吃過很多當地的中國餃子,但到目前為止我吃過的餃子比起這裡的生煎包來說連一半都沒有。所以我又點了一個盤子,沒有遺憾地離開了。

Michelin star Pan fried buns that is a leap away from the train station. They make classic yet flavorful dumplings that makes the diners come back for more. Never tried something like this back home. It will be served hot so be prepared if you are eating for the first time.

祥興記上海生煎包絕對是來香港必吃的美味?,生煎包底部煎到恰恰酥脆,頂部卻仍是Q彈可破的皮,內部包覆著滿滿香濃湯汁的肉餡,一口咬下讓人好滿足,但要小心湯汁超燙口? 一不小心嘴巴就會被燙得亂七八糟?
既然叫上海生煎包,亦會使人聯想到上海有名的小楊生煎,兩者相比,P還是比較喜歡祥興記,整體口感滋味更覺啊略勝一籌?

The standard pan-fried dumplings were amazing. It wowed me. I ate it there and as take out and it was still amazing 30 minutes old. One of the best things I’ve ever eaten.
I also tried the pan fried dumplings with truffle, wonton soup, and a noodle dish. I would skip the soups – they weren’t good. The truffle dumplings were good but not as good as the normal pan-fried dumplings in my opinion.

Standards have dropped but it’s still one of the better shanghai pan fried baos around. A few years ago, the Bao was a lot thinner and not so doughy. The base was also crispier. I would still recommend it but it’s no longer a “must eat”.

The best michelin star fried buns we tried here in Hong Kong. Cheung Hing Kee Shanghai Pan Fried Buns will always be a must eat food for me whenever I’ll be visiting Hong Kong. At first when we ate it, it’s so hot but tolerable in the mouth. Then when you chew it, the flavor just burst. We ordered for more, but we ran out of load in our octopus card. So we reloaded it in a near by 7Eleven because don’t accept cash yet due to pandemic

祥興記上海生煎包是有名的餐點,但這間店沒有內用,只可以外帶或站著吃,招牌生煎包的肉汁很飽滿,吃的時候會瘋狂流出來,蝦子生煎包就還好。
味道還算可以,但分量偏小,要吃飽需要再吃些其他小點心。
