Popped in here again for the 2nd time, this time by chance with our dog. The owner was very accommodating and opened the bifold door so we could sit and enjoy the sumptuous food and great service! This place is still a bit of secret the food is really special and authentic but a wide range is available for all tastes (western and Nepali). The decor is nice and service is great.

i LOVED it here!! service was amazing and on point, had the milkshake and my partner had the lassi. we both shared a chatpate starter and a chowmein main, and had a momo platter after. loved my stay from start to finish.

Looking for rich, flavourful food served in a chilled, comfortable environment? Great spot for drawn out dinner and drinks with mates or intimate date nights and everything in between! If you’re South African pining over the flavour of farm-grown beef from back home, this spot is highly recommended!
Early dinner wonderfully hosted by owner, Mimi, who directed me to the pork momo (dumplings). Did not disappoint. Delicious, as paired with an Asahi beer. Time very well spent with her legacy of lux hotel hospitality. This is a standout Nepali restaurant on a street of Nepali restaurants. Not to be missed.

Spicy Salt is located along Wai Ching Street in the Jordan District. This is a good place for Nepalese food and a round of drinks. They are open from 3pm to 11pm daily with adjusted opening hours during the pandemic while local dining restrictions are in effect.
There is a fair sized indoor dining area. They do take-away and delivery in the area as well. Menu is a mix of traditional Nepalese foods along with some western and fusion dishes as well. Prices are reasonable for this area of the city and service was so friendly and polite during our meal.
We stopped by for lunch recently and enjoyed the Sekuwa Set with pork, the crunchy pakoda and the delicious momo platter (chicken, pork, veg) served steamed and pan-fried so that there is a bit of variety to the tastes and textures of the dumplings.
Overall, quite pleased with our lunch at Spicy Salt. Would gladly take another meal here in the future.

Great food with very friendly staff. Food was hot (heat wise) and served quickly. Easy place to get to from MTR. A good range of drinks including bottle wines such as NZ Sauvignon blanc and reds.

The food and ambience was amazing. The lady, in particular, was really nice. She gave us a lot of good recommendations and was extremely helpful. Lovely bar/ restaurant.

Best Bar and best food Mimi has the best service in HK!
The bar and restaurant is is amazing. I am definitely going back. We enjoyed the bar for drinks and then sat down for a very tasty Nepalese dinner. We had a flavorful chicken dish with chilies and spices and a fried pork platter with veggies, beans and rice. Mimi, one of the owners was a wonderful host.

Smoked Salmon Nepalese Chicken Chowmein Momo Platter
Really great food. Found this place on google while traveling through Hong Kong on our way to China and the food was just amazing to say the least. The owner was friendly and chatted with us and went above and beyond to make sure we got what we wanted. The Food was cooked to order and it was so delicious and fresh.
