A very clean and cosy place to eat. Mr Ilyas (the owner) is very friendly, sincere and always there to help. The food is amazing, with high quality, big portions and value for money. You are bound to love the place. Highly recommended.

Nice and tasty Halalfood with good hygiene environment.

Authentic Pakistani food in TST HK, right next to Chungking mansion. Overall this may be the best Pakistani food in HK that is cooked as home food rather than celebration/party food, I.e it’s not full of colours, extra oil and exotic spices. However I will hold my final verdict until I try more dishes, especially tandoori stuff. Vegetarian and non beef (lamb, chicken, seafood) options are also available for people with special needs.
This time I tried the basic thaali style lunch with chicken haleem, nihari and paya, and by far the simplest & best haleem & nihari in HK. Their roti and naan are absolutely next level, better than most of the places in HK. Plenty of tissues, hand cleaner and water bottles made available as part of the package. There is a hand washing area as well.
Overall prices are very reasonable (although still need to see the potion size of non-lunch items) being a family-led small business, owner (mr. ilyaas) and his family are also great at taking care of customers needs.
It’s accessible for families and quite neat & clean compared to other places in that area. However I could not check the access by elevator for baby cars and also the washroom this time so cannot comment on this part yet.

Food was Fantastic and the owner is very nice and professional and soft spoken proficient in English Cantonese and Urdu language.Must Visit

Tasty food

This is a hidden gem between all tourist rip offs. On top of that it is super clean and homemade style food. The first thing that pops off is the handwashing corner, which is a good sign for cleanliness also for the guests. I had a refill plate with different kind of currys, rice, bread and soup of the day. You get a good and tasty value for your little money.

Illiyas bhai as host and his wife as chef (both being owners) have been an amazing hosts. The best part was super tasty and authentic food quality… After a very long time, I had mouthwatering CHICKEN AND PRAWN BIRYANI that was so good that I had two servings…. Apart from food, mango lassi and complimentary sweet too were superb… A MUST VISIT for authentic food in Hong Kong. Kudos..

This is absolutely my hidden gem recommendation – Pakistani Cuisine. I am always on the lookout for good Haleem, but it is something very rarely available in Hong Kong. I was told there is this new restaurant which opened, and I should go there to try the haleem.

It’s located on the second floor of Mirador Mansion, TST which is just next to Chungking Mansion.

Initially I was a bit apprehensive because of the location.
Boy, was I wrong!

The place is simple & space for about 6 tables plus very family friendly environment. It is newly built so very neat and clean and maintained well unlike many other restaurants inside Mirador and Chungking Mansion.

It is run by a husband-and-wife duo, the husband takes cares of the ops and the wife is running the kitchen as a chef.

The love for the providing a good meal is apparent as soon as you get their special buffet/thali/combo.

It includes the following:
UNLIMITED
Chicken Haleem (Slow cooked lentils and chicken) +
Beef Nihari (Tender & well cooked – it was originally eaten by nawabs in the Mughal Empire as a breakfast course following morning prayer) +
Beef Channa Paya (It’s a classic bone broth dish which divides people in two, either you love it or hate it!)
Wheat Tandoori Roti + Naan + Paratha + Biryani Rice
Small salad plus 2 types of chutneys
Small bottle of water + Kadak Chai
All of this for HKD100/-

The value for money and quality ratio of what you get here is simply unmatched. If you find desi place doing better than value combo this, please do let me know ?

Amazing and delicious Pakistani cuisine for the price. We had the all you can eat for 100 per person and there was a good variety of meat curries, nan bread, rice, drinks and desserts. Will come back next time with another friend.
