Good Indian place, a bit pricey but not horrendous (avg main was about 160). Dishes were great, service alright too. Wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here next time, but if in the area anyway it’s worth to drop in
The food is fine. Can be better though. The Indian tasted a bit like Chinese fusion food.
Good food
Lovely environment and great service. However it’s a little overpriced for Indian compared to others really nearby and the vegetarian special wasn’t the best. Great starters though.
Fabulous restaurant with slight dim lighting creating a wonderfully warm ambiance. Food quality and service was outstanding. Having tried so many curry dishes from various different places, the dishes here were cooked almost perfectly bringing out its own unique taste and flavour. The spices was not overly powering and did not taste very salty which was always a worry when eating Indian curry. It is slightly pricey but the atmosphere and quality is well worth the price for a good decent curry night. There are ways to obtain discounts when making a booking. I would recommend this place to anyone that loves Indian cuisine..!!!
The thing I like about this indian restaurant is the environment, as in contrast to many Indian food places in hk that’s more crowded and simple. Of coz it comes with higher prices, but it gives people an option, to dine in for good indian foods in a more relaxed environment. Foods are also awesome (as u could see in the photos) and very friendly staffs. One complain would be the inaccurate “spiciness” indicator on the menu (the non-spicy chicken malasa turned out to be very spicy but luckily the spicy prawn curry turned out to be non-spicy!) Good experience overall.
Food is incredible and the cooks really take pride in their food. I highly recommend eating here, this place is underrated!
Lovely lunch today. Ordered from their set lunch menu and was pleased by the quality of the chicken tikka masala, their veges soup and a side portion of salad as well as the nicely made naan that accompanied it. The samosa starters were all delightful and were nicely presented. The food was also very generous and I had to skip the dessert coz there was no room left for it HA! A very good experience! Add this to the good service and ambience and it adds up to greatness!
It’s very wired service and staff response is very bad
Gaylord
I was called to restaurant for reservation last Tuesday, and got informed that they are so available so just walk in. One day after when we arrived the restaurant on time, we turned to got informed that restaurant is all fulfilled book and no table for us. I truly can’t understand a restaurant say one thing and service with other things. If i were to have annual celebration here, what my wfie would think of me booking such a awful restaurant Pease be aware that if you still want to give try on this non-sense
Good Indian food veg seekhkabab very nice
Great food, and now with outdoor seating!
Nice atmosphere and really good food
very good food
Yummy
so in loved with indian food, anyone? a very cozy place with food with good presentation! Especially they had launched the Indian dishes with black truffles, never tried before! They had outdoor area which was quite chill and would be awesome to have a drink after work.
Really looked forward to a revisit after many years. It was regarded by some as the grand dame of Hong Kong’s Indian restaurants (like Veeraswamy in London?). But the food was very disappointing.
Stick to the New Punjab Club.
New place in Prince Tower, live up everything in Gaylord. A very traditional and delicious Indian restaurant , worth to try!
Beautiful curries and a lovely interior added to a great evening with friends.
Ambient is good and food is ok.
Nice atmosphere, nice service
Food was delicious
It’s a nice Restaurant with good service. Food is fresh. Expect no surprises. Overall a pleasant experience.
Good Indian food with reasonable price, and nicely decorated.
Delicious butter chicken and lamb. Equilibrated sauces not too fat/oily or spicy. When looking at the menu you will want to order everything, so in my case lesson learned> go with large group so we can order more things and try more of their menu. Will have to go back.
Not 5 stars as the service is not very helpful and even we tried speaking with couple of them they basically let you on your own.
儘管我是印度尼西亞人,但有可用的菜單,我真的很喜歡…美味,根據口味定價…這個地方也不錯
The restaurant stands up as one of the oldest indian restaurants in HK !
Excellent food n service
Not suitable for vegans…
Good indian food
My and my family favourite restaurant in Hong Kong. New location is very spacious and hip with the outdoor patio. Also, enjoyed the fusion twists they’ve updated the menu with (e.g. avocado mango dahi puri). Their lunch sets and tea time specials are a great deal price-wise and portion-wise (they’re open 12 to 10pm every day). Attached is their new twist to one of my favourite desserts– mango raas malai. ?
Nice ambiance and the chicken tikka executive lunch set was very satisfying.
I have been going for 20yrs, the only reason that I still go there is for old time sake. If you have no sentimental reason, just don’t bother. There are just so many good choices out there. For instance, New Punjab Club, Chaat or Bombay Dream.
Decent Indian restaurant with a good staff can immediately be felt once you walk in. I was there for dinner and was actually pretty decent with lot of options for vegans and meat relishers, with original Indian taste with most of the diet types covered!
Very good authentic Indian cuisine. -30% dining a la carte until end of Nov, must reserve first.
Excellent value for money set lunch.
Very poor services, even not accepting their fault.
Good place, good food
Nice restaurant, great food, many vegetarian choices, have pretty big outdoor area with tables
very good food, lunch special is great value
Garlic naan was delicious, mocktail was reasonably priced and refreshing
Good place to eat, family and friendly
Best samosa I had in HK
Not for SI people…
Service is very very poor
Delicious food
環境優美,咖哩必吃,意想不到的美食
Love it but on the sweet side, not the spicy one! Then a real good Indian for soft palates, the space is huge, pricing attractive but it don’t really step out from the crowded Indian restaurants places, that you can find in HK. But still recommend this bite for those they are afraid of stomach burns!
The quality of food & masala tea was really bad and disappointing compared to few months back. Overall the ambience is good indoor / outdoor. The staffs are nice & polite. Hope to see improvement on food quality.
