Liu Liang San is a really popular Taiwanese beef noodles restaurant in Tsim Sha Tsui, and I truly understand why after having a delicious lunch there.
My friend and I order two different noodles to share, so that we got to try three different types of beef.
Mine is the Beef Noodles at the bottom of the picture. The pieces of beef were very, very tender! Almost felt like melting on my tongue! And they were very flavored too.
The noodles were quite special, thick, yet very al dente. And the broth was definitely the best I have tried in Hong Kong. Thin and light, yet very flavored with a slightly spicy after taste. I couldn’t stop sipping the broth when I was eating the noodles. Nom Nom!!!
The beef shank and rib my friend got were very tasty and tender also. But we like the beef more.
We would love a cup of bubble milk tea, but it wasn’t on the menu, so we got a can of nice Apple Sidra instead.
We also got a small dish of Tempura as snack, which is a kind of Taiwanese fish cake. The slightly pan-fried fish cake tasted really good. Not a big fan of the sauce though.
食到一半先記得要留影. 一定要加牛辣油湯先好味！！味道有台灣.
Small Taiwanese restaurant in TST, very traditional braised pork on rice, my kids loved it a lot. Try the beef tendon, it’s the best out of the three choices. Free winter melon drink during this COVID 19 period. Worth supporting.
吃完會再次回頭的餐廳，湯不會很鹹，肉做得非常不錯。
上到去果然冇失望, 服務態度好好, 又好有feel, 下午曬住要帶住黑超咁食都幾好feel, 生日仲好開心有個甜品送。
We had dinner at this place but the time for meal is limited at 40 mins so we ate all the dishes in hurry. Overall the food was great but not impressed.
食物質素還可以，始終唔可以同喺台灣食到嘅牛肉麵比，不過牛肉都做得唔錯，湯底唔夠農！
不過題外話～有一侍應不太好禮貌，佢行過“cake”到我個女坐緊張櫈腳，踢到我個女都郁一郁，但係無道歉就當無事行咗去，呢樣我覺得唔係咁好！

Miss Taiwan a lot. We came here for Taiwanese food. At around 18:30, loads of people queued up in front of Liu Liang San. Waited for almost an hour to get in. We ordered Braised Beef Noodle, Shutter Bean Curd, Braised Pork Rice, Tempura (also named as Fish Cake) and Noodle with Oil, Soysauce and Scallion. Quite disappointed that the food was mediocre overall, not as delicious as people described. Other Taiwanese restaurants may do much better than this. Surprisingly, Noodle with Oil, Soysauce and Scallion was fairly good with many scallions inside.

睇咗網上食評所以一試，中午大約一點半等位，等咗廿分鐘左右！環境衛生服務員細心！點咗紅燒牛肉麵、甜不辣、滷肉飯，略為有點失望?牛肉麵湯底還可以，麵質一般，牛肉淋但無牛肉味?滷肉飯還可以，甜不辣唔講喇！ …
麵、湯、肉都很好吃，連個碗都靚。
食完不會口渴。
環境舒適，疫情期間限時40分鐘，其實都夠時間食。
服務正常。
牛肉湯頭不太咸，吃完沒有口渴的感覺。麵條彈牙，好吃?，可惜其中一件牛肋肉不夠淋，有咬不開的感覺? …

Great beef noodles.
The broths were strong and beefy.
I felt that the broth tasted like bovril with a touch of boiled down beef taste.
As for the noodles, you get to choose thin or thick so chose the thin so that it absorbs the beef broth.

I read many great reviews about this place and had wanted to try. The place wasn’t packed and really liked the decor and the setting. I sincerely wanted to like this place, however. I just can’t. Had ordered Noodles with soy sauce and scallion, Noodles with beef tendon, the ‘Tamupra’, and the preserved egg and tofu. The noodles for me were blend, and the thick noodles were a bit hard and not chewy. The ‘Tamupra’ 甜不辣 was exactly tasted as it was called, sweet. The preserved egg and tofu was decent but nothing special. All in all, the experience is rather disappointing.
I am not qualified to measure its food by means of authenticity, however, It would be disrespectful for me to believe Taiwanese food would not be more than this. I would look forward to that in the future.

因為唔太想食肉，就叫左款寡啲嘅款?呢款拌麵有花生醬同麻辣醬，麻辣味比較重，加上青瓜絲食到後期都唔會太單調?
