Innovative sushi unlike others. Well balance between creativity and tradition.
I really enjoyed my meal here and I recommend trying if you are looking to to treat yourself to some tasty and phenomenal food. The service here is also really great and the staff take time to explain the food they are serving. You have your choice of omakase sets where the chef chooses the sushi to be served.

I came here for lunch and had the 9 sushi set and sort of wished I opted for the 12 piece set. The set comes with 9 nigiri sushi, a roll, soup, and dessert. All the sushi here was really good and I enjoyed everything they served me. I tried some cuts of fish that I never had before like mantis shrimp and flounder. The toro maki i had was probably my favorite. The maki was filled with three types of toro and a hint of green onion. I wish I could have had four more of these rolls.

Extremely fresh ingredients and creative dishes, loved the mixture of flavours and the friendly and funny chef. One of the favourites to be added to anyone’s list of best omakase.
??✍?This Michelin two-starred Sushiyoshi from Osaka has truly suprised me with the unexpected flavor and textures. Chef Hiroki has successfully infused japanese tradition into every dish. Overall, a great omakase meal!

Highly recommended this place for some special occasions or when you wanna pamper yourself with a flourishing meal.
I ordered the first sushi set with 9 appetisers and 8 sushi ($1980); while my friend ordered the second one with 14 appetisers and 8 sushi ($2480). Most of the dishes are creative and memorable.
The first appetiser in this Osaka Michelin 2 star Japanese restaurant is just so good to look at and to taste.

This scallops prawn caviar tarter in the cigar shaped biscuit is fun to look and eat. But I’m not sure about the texture of the biscuit, as it get soft and chewy after soaked the moist from the tarter.

Then is three pieces of super nice sushi that made me looking for forward for the climax of today’s dining experience.

Next is a very delicious soup with some really sweet shellfish meat inside, I love this a lot.

The chef pass me a box with two kind of sushi inside. What I like about this sushi is the sushi rice, chef mixed few kind of pickled veggies to flavour the rice and upgraded the whole sushi.

Lightly grilled the clams on the stone in front of customer and gives the clams more sweetness and texture.

Fresh Uni, definitely no complain. Next is a really fun sour shooter. I like the clam but it the texture here is more chewy, I like thre softer one.

Chef serve maguro then toro, both I feel just nice, then the big sushi roll with three kinds of tuna sashimi surprised me, is much better then the first two tuna sushi.

If you want an all out decadent Omakase experience that will blow your mind and your wallet this is the place. It’s expensive but amazing. Fresh and rare fish, and a lot of it!

除咗前菜同吞拿魚OK, 無樣掂,室內溫度熱到24-6度溫度, 新鮮魚無鮮味都算, 壽司飯嚴重偏酸仲要一夾就散嘅。
Expensive but worth it. One of the best sushi in Hong Kong or in the world. Ask for the Japanese chef when you make the booking.
Very good sushi. Love the slightly stone-grilled hokkigai and smoked buri. Worth to visit again.

好耐都冇食日本菜,又冇得去日本,趁疫情緩和梗係要食豪啲,睇左好多媒體報,決定一試大阪米芝蓮過江龍 ─ 壽司芳,同朋友一齊回味吓日本既味道。
店舖防疫措施做得好足,除咗座位有適當間距、師傅同店員都有戴口罩之外,店員仲話用左由日本引入、針對新冠病毒既國際認可食品級消毒液,消毒所有器具,所以食得好放心。❤
壽司芳係omakase餐廳,晚餐餐牌有$1980、$2480同$2980,共3種。$2980係米芝蓮星級大廚中ノ上公起主理,不過佢暫時都係台灣店駐場,所以香港店交由大弟子兼主廚菅原良平負責。
我地揀左$1980個餐,包括有6款前菜、8款壽司/卷物/湯同甜品,有選擇困難症的我只係需要揀個餐,之後完全唔使煩,真係一個福音。
omakase吸引之處就係可以睇住佢整,由食材、加工到成品成個過程就好似表演一樣,尤其今次係米芝蓮餐廳,成個過程絕對精彩。由食材背景到調味配搭,菅原師傅都好細心講解,係食之前更加了解到食材珍貴同配搭嘅原因,而且壽司芳既菜式唔係純日本咁簡單,用日本傳統珍貴食材,加入西方配搭同手法,即使係之前係其他餐廳食過既食材,都會有全新既味道同感覺。上乘既食材同用心,米芝蓮二星就是不一樣。
我自己特別鍾意下面呢幾道
島根黑鮑魚海膽:清蒸日本最名貴既黑邊鮑,配北海道白海膽,食材好新鮮,鮑魚煙韌彈牙,海膽香甜幼滑,食完之後個口仲遺有甘甜既味道。
北海道三文魚子壽司:睇住師傅係熱水將三文魚子從筋子膜剝出嚟,再用日本海鹽漬,將三文魚子既原汁原味忠實呈現。普遍壽司店都有既款式,係大師手上,原料同處理方法都變得上乘,一啲都唔普通。
拖羅蔥花鐵火卷:搭搭超絕!拖羅係吞拿魚最肥美既部位,啲飯吸收哂拖羅既魚油,每咬一次都有魚油同魚香滲出,完全唔捨得吞。
魚味濃湯:本身好鍾意飲湯,而呢個湯有好濃既魚味,經長時間熬製,每樣配料既精華都煲哂出嚟,作一個完美既結尾。

Poor service, rude waitresses. Got nudged/pushed by the waitress on the arm several times.
壽司師父技藝一流、服務也還不錯,但驚喜度不高,料理手法有幾道有些深度,但食材的口感及回饋度卻是有所失望,不能說有負盛名,但也就這樣吧。

It is probably the best sushi for quality and value I had in HK so far (been to Sato, but not yet Araki, and a few other highly reviewed places). It’s a pleasant surprise, unlike others, this one located in a humble hotel on a busy street, no high end hotel or luxury shopping malls.
Food is great, fresh, good variety, innovative design
Service- very attentive, only one complaint is chef didn’t notice I was left handed.
Value- quite cheap for what you get (lunch)

A hearty take on sushi omakase with some nice comfort food touches such as breaded fried shellfish in seaweed and dishes served with a delightful dollop of sweetened crab sauce or flavorful miso. Craftsmanship other than the chef’s own perfect rice rolling was a bit lacking as it was obvious there were some newer sous chefs behind the counter.

Excellent take on traditional omakase with a restrained yet inspired sense of innovation in both ingredient-pairing, sauces and produce. Without spoiling any surprises, you’re better off trying everything the chef proposes (food allergies aside) rather than arriving as a picky eater.
