This Japanese restaurant only serves one fixed price Omakase menu at $1680, composing of roughly 20 dishes. Interior is spacious & well decorated, although not up to highest omakase restaurant standard, the bar top is made of cheap granite instead of traditional Hinoki Cypress. Another disappointment is the use of processed wasabi instead of fresh one at this elevated price level. As for food, all sashimi & sushi are just OK & none was outstanding.

Great restaurant, great food, TERRIBLE RESTAURANT MANAGER.
At our first visit, we enjoyed an intimate and lovely meal at MOKU and wanted to book the restaurant again for a bigger gathering. The restaurant manager Kenji had promised to offer us a discount, as well as 3 different menus as some of our guests preferred more cooked food instead of a fully raw menu. After much back and forth and chasing the restaurant manager multiple times, he showed us some menus. However, the cost was actually higher than had we booked via OpenRice. When we pointed this out, Kenji became rude and short with us, basically telling us that we are cheap. Needless to say, we cancelled the booking for the bigger table. We really liked the restaurant and the food at our first visit, it is unfortunate that the restaurant manager was so disorganized and terrible at communicating.
