One of the best sushi and ? in Hong Kong for almost 20+ years. I remember the first shop we visit is a b/f restaurant and a lot of Japanese people will come.
Tuna may be their famous dishes but I can say everything they provided are with the best quality. Soba and the fried chicken not in this photo but they are great too.
That’s why we always come here for dinner in TST.
Btw, all of the staff are very nice and helpful?
Savoury sashimi served with authentic Japanese benton set always lure the customers to visit this restaurant repeatedly. All lunch sets are at reasonable price (HKD88-220 per set). Their signature dish is the fresh tuna.
The palatable minced tuna fish mixed with spring onion is always my pick. The considerate chef provides the pieces of seaweeds separately helping me to create my own tuna sushi rolls easier.
Super tasty chu-toro & seared hirame dinner set. Each piece was appropriately cut and deliciously oily. The tea-cup steam-egg was perfectly steamed with mushroom and crab meat.
They take no booking; arrive with everyone in your party, and you will get seated as table become available.
Certainly coming back for other fish!

Steamed Egg 火炙平目魚 & 藍鰭吞拿赤身
Highly overpriced upper level Japanese food. We ordered a lot of food and they won’t let us to sit to a bigger table which only half of the restaurant is empty. They don’t care how squeezed your table is but put dishes on top of one another! I have never experienced in any place they can put tray on top of your food. The food is okay but definitely not fresh.

比以前細份咗好多，質素味道都差咗好多
我用牠吃午飯。一點也不擁擠，因為我是工作日12點以後進去的。所以米飯出來的比較快，很好吃。午餐菜單有各種各樣的海鮮蓋飯。我吃了鮭魚和鮭魚子蓋飯，真好吃！芥末分開種植很好。茶碗蒸也很好吃。幹納豆？作為一道菜不好…我個人更喜歡味噌湯。等我們吃完，人越來越多了！

平時係出面食開嘅吞拿魚都會有少少腥味，但哩個吞食魚丼飯冇！

There’s no booking in advanced so we got there shortly after 6pm and got seats. We ordered a rice don with 3 toppings of your own choice. We picked tuna o toro, minced bluefin tuna and sea urchin. We also wanted striped Jack but that was unavailable. The set came with a miso soup, steamed egg and pickles. The sea urchin was great quality (from Hokkaido). The other two I found nothing special, especially the tuna o toro were thinly sliced. We ordered another portion of toro sashimi. It was thicker cut and tasted so much better. The slow cooked salmon head was surprisingly tasty. The apple cheese cake suited my palate – not too sweet and cheesy. The staff was friendly, attentively and efficient.
