Long queue already at 630pm. 8 people ahead but line moves fast.
Food is lackluster. Thai milk tea is not bad. Aircon not strong and place quite crowded.

還不錯，其實就是海南雞飯，炸雞就別點了，都是粉而已。
服務態度親切,但食物方便真的不好,雞飯的飯好像生米一樣,雞肉OK. 奶茶味道像泰式奶茶,但味道比正宗的太甜了. 金邊粉沒有炒過的鑊氣, 蝦明顯只是白灼了一下然后和金邊粉撈一撈上色. 質素完全對不住個價錢, 失望透了, 不會再來.
Restaurant recently opened. Lined up with a friend for less than ten minutes before we got a seat. Authentic chicken rice and good value. Worth trying out!

位於尖沙咀的中低價泰國菜，用料充足，味道不錯
幾好！！
星期六中午時間門外有十幾人排隊，幸好店內坐位多，所以等了十五分鐘便可就坐。這裡飯價錢相對便宜，雞飯只要四十多，在尖沙咀地區可以叫平了。
雞飯的飯很香，肉尚算滑，炸雞亦可一試。另外點了泰式奶茶，味道帶少少朱古力味。
試業時期，咖啡和洛神花茶好喝，牛丸加生牛肉湯粉好食，牛丸彈口配料新鮮。

Water Gate Chicken Rice is a Thai chicken rice specialist with really cool interior design based on the theme of Thai culture, such as biking and boxing. Even the words on top of the kitchen are written in Thai.
Visiting during afternoon tea serving hour, I got this set of Khao Mun Gai Chicken Rice, soup and Iced Thai Milk Tea for HKD$58 only, which is a very good price.
As you can see from the picture, the portion of boneless chicken was generous. The rice was good, and I used the hot sauce on the side as dressing. The chicken was so smooth, tender and meaty! Delicious!
Soup was very peppery, but in a nice way, I finished all of it.
The Iced Thai milk tea was superb! It was very silky, probably because of condensed milk? Tea flavor was quite strong too. Fantastic! But I was quite full at that time already after finishing all the rice and soup, I couldn’t finish the whole drink…
Would definitely visit again for the boat noodles!
Very nice traditional chicken rice. Not too over flavoured and not too oily
I have been craving for chicken ever since my first visit. Finally went back for fried chicken and the quality has deteriorated.
In a way, I was glad it was crap because I won’t be craving for it anymore. The chicken was just simply dry and bruised while the frying oil wasn’t fresh.
Although thigh meat is relatively darker than white meat but it shouldn’t be dark like this in some areas which is obviously bruising. Photo of the chicken on the first visit.

Authentic Hainan chicken rice with a good price! Super soft, tender and juicy. And so does the braised pork knuckle, they are so good! And if you are looking for authentic Thai milk tea, this is a right place.

3. 水門雞飯
元朗有兩間水門雞飯，這家店主專程從泰國請來大廚坐鎮，所用的香料和調味料，更是泰國直送，故完美呈現水門雞飯的風味。雞隻來自惠州羅浮山的走地雞，特色是皮薄少脂肪，同時肉質鮮嫩，隻隻更指明飼養必須超過90日，雞肉更厚身，起骨後吃落啖啖肉。雞飯選用泰國香米，加入雞湯、香料、蒜頭、辣椒，先炒再煲，令飯軟硬適中，味道香濃。雞骨湯最少以慢火煲4小時，加入胡椒和冬瓜，與雞飯味道十分匹配。

泰式海南雞已起骨，吃落啖啖肉。雞肉脂肪不多卻十分嫩滑，再一啖飯、一啖湯來吃，滿足！
外賣雞件去骨，肉質滑嫩，比較軟腍。

可一次過吃齊泰式海南雞、炸雞及雞雜，配搭比一般雞飯更加豐富。炸雞炸得油而不膩，雞雜包括雞腎、雞肝、雞紅等。

For the rice, I expected it is a chicken oil rice, but it just like a pure rice.
The sauces come with the set are spicy as well as the soup, the soup is good.

The food at Watergate Chicken is real value for money, for those who are on a tight budget will be pleased that most of the dishes are under HK$50. Expect to queue if you go during peak hours.
Poached Chicken w/ Chicken Rice (HK$50)
If there’s one dish on their menu you have to try, it would be their signature, Poached Chicken with Chicken Rice.
The chicken is cooked just about right, retaining a moist and tender bite, the rice was fragrant and not too oily.
Curry Beef Brisket Noodle (HK$50)
Yellow curry is best for Thai food lovers who want a little less spicy, chunks of beef brisket was flavourful and tender, while the thick noodle was grasped the flavour of the soup very well!
Deep Fried Fish Skin (HK$48)
This is an absolutely delightful snack, the fish skin is deep fried and served with a rich broth.
