Good Taiwanese street food but not so special we should have to line up for hours.
After three years and still long queue for this place and I thought it must be super good… so I gave it a go… but I was wrong.
I usually go Taipei 8 times a year so I did try a lot of different shops, street food and restaurants… so I understand they each have a unique taste but this place… it was something I have never tasted in Taipei… I guess the oil went wrong here… I nearly vomit when I first tasted it (滷肉飯)… it was absolutely terrible. Even with the fried chicken and friend flour thingy, it has a smelly fish taste in it…
Was I really bad lucky to have such terrible taste food? Because I really don’t understand why so many people queue up for this place…
Worth a try, but no second time
尋日去西環開會傾嘢，唔知食乜好，經過好多人係門口，哦～原來是阿元來了，米糕蚵仔煎😍和侍應姐姐order飲品：「兩杯飲料都走吸管～謝謝～」侍應姐姐：「沒問題😉」 一邊欣賞牆上佈置，一邊吃著台灣味道😋一解對台灣的思念😍

Is worth the most original an indigenous taiwan food shops in Hong Kong. The foods are awesome and spectacular i think you can not find a better alternative. two thumbs up
Good in taste but the amount might be quite small for guy. You can order a plate and a main dish with a drink if you come alone.
鹵肉飯、台式奶茶好好味……
I recently visited here for the first time in just about a year, since I was staying two days in a hotel nearby in Sai Ying Pun. As before, this restaurant really isn’t for me. Although their food is good… for me, it is a bit too sweet, or a bit too oily, like their roast pork bowl, and I was only able to eat just a few bites. But this is the local Taiwanese soul food, so as always, the restaurant was bustling with a large crowd!
Cheap and delicious but tiny portions.
Small portion delicious not too expensive Taiwanese food. The shop is pretty small, serving is pretty quick, but will not recommend for a big group gathering.
Tasty Taiwanese food with reasonable price. Usually crowed and u have to line up for a while. I recommend the pork with rice and the dessert.
慕名而来，有点失望。鲁肉饭不好吃，无论是鲁肉还是米。蚵仔煎我觉得还行，同伴觉得不好。九？糖水不错（名字记不清楚了😄）。好多学生过来吃，作为游客真心觉得失望。 …

肉羹外層的皮衣太厚，裹太多麵粉都沒有肉
麵使用粗黃油麵很不入味外口感也不佳
珍珠奶茶要求三分糖 菜單上有寫也口頭敘述 結果還是超甜…….
希望可以改進一下 不然外國朋友真以為台灣食物是這個樣子的……..
來香港工作一個月來這懷念一下家鄉美食，真的是個錯誤…..
The food was above average. 滷肉飯 was rich in flavor and same for the 鹽酥雞. Drink was refreshing and goes along the food (蜂蜜青茶). Reasonable price for the quality of food.
Food presentation is nice, the interior is interesting and fun. The quality of food is a bit overrated, food portion is small and quite pricey.
Taiwanese Restaurant
Relatively affordable and good quality (Not as cheap as the same food in Taiwan)
In peak hour, take the order menu (also the queueing ticket) first and normally you need to wait for about 20 minutes.

店舖裝修及佈置充滿台灣感覺，令你彷彿置身在台灣地道食店一樣。這家店的食物是本人在香港吃過這麼多間同類型食店中，唯一一間連食物味道都充滿台灣風味。
A small cozy place! Food is good but one of the popular dishes, pork diced rice is very oily. I think the pearl milk tea is the must try item.
30 mins for the dining time only.

So glad this place exists, where you can get Taiwanese delights served from efficient, yet friendly people. Only downside is how crowded it gets, but that goes with the territory when you have such a solid offering of gastronomical delights.
Traditional Taiwanese food
Superb Taiwanese food. Not to miss the minced pork rice a d the omelettes. Drinks also are quite good, with bubble tea in many flavours. My favourite is the chocolate one.

ordinary taiwanese food… of course much more expensive than it should be but that’s a common phenomenon thanks to the sky-high rent in hk. won’t go there again.

Over-rated!
Always a long queue outside the small restaurant! The environment was cozy and full of old taiwan decoration.
Staffs were really nice and friendly.
Ordered the minced pork rice, the sauce was good, well balanced flavor! However, the rice was toooooo soft! The chef was actually generous to give me so much sauce, but soft rice soaked in those sauce taste really bad. I didnt expect the soft rice would ruin the whole thing. I could not finish the whole….
港式台灣食物，偏貴
很有台灣的感覺，不過等位需時，要搭枱。
The food is quite good if you consider the price so reasonable. But sadly it tastes not like authentic taiwanese cuisine because the ingredients have been modified for hong kong favours.
魯肉飯好食，細碗但飽肚。食完過對面買好食蛋卷同鳳凰卷
排隊排了30分鐘，店舖非常小的一間，坐得好逼好辛苦，比較推薦外賣喔！
