Really solid food and easy ambience. Its not a fancy place but everything always falls into place really well here. There was a steak special which they cooked perfectly medium rare, not always the case in Hong Kong and the fish was similarly spot on. Decent portion size for everything.
Our server was great, attentive cheerful and friendly and the cocktails were well priced for happy hour. Always impressed every time I eat here.
Decent value,happy hour could be a bit happier. Also,a pint is 564ml. Filling a Stella glass to the 50cl point is not a pint. Other than that it’s great!
Food is OK, and they do a decent happy hour, however, the customer service at Jaspas is incredibly poor. On Tuesday 11th August, we had a very bad experience with the manager, who after we received the wrong takeaway order items, was very rude and dismissive to my partner. Unbelievable for him to speak to a customer in that way. At times it’s unclear who is the customer, the service is non existent. There are lots of high quality restaurants to visit in Kennedy Town, and Jaspas sadly should be the last.

Poor food and service. The mains came 20 mins apart! Pancakes tasted of stale flour. Instead of ricotta cheese came with vanilla ice cream…no explanation…when asked was told “out of ricotta”!!!
One of the better places for breakfast in Hong.
煎餅是最好的！海鮮意大利面也不錯。 Cobb salad也不錯～quesadilla一般般。牛排還可以
Once again, all restaurants, spas, gyms etc are affected of the restrictions and like many other people, I’d like to support businesses even in a small way. I was there one afternoon and I ordered their desert, it took me sometime to look at the menu and I doubled checked many times what goes with my chocolate cake. I made sure that I ordered the one without the icecream as my teeth is sensitive to cold stuffs. The desert that the lady gave me comes with an icecream and I said to her in a nice way that I’m sorry I think that’s not my order and she said this is your order and it comes with an icecream, I showed her what I ordered on the menu pointing out that the it didn’t say it comes with an icecream. She insisted all of their desert comes with an IC when the menu clearly says that the one I ordered has no IC. I said I’m sorry I don’t eat IC and it’s shocking that she insisted that I should eat it with IC and again I said for the 3rd time no I’m sorry I don’t want it. She murmured something when she left and when she came back I said I’m sorry it’s just my teeth is sensitive with cold stuffs and she answered with irritating voice-you ordered chocolate cake, it’ll still make your teeth achy. It’s ashamed- it’s our go-to place every Friday and I was about to recommend it to a friend who’s going to celebrate her 50th bday. I understand maybe it was just her being hormonal because she is pregnant but cmon. I find it rude, and just bad customer service.
Great place nice food service not so great some staff not all very unenthusiastic and rude you could sell alot more if staff were interested and polite would not want to be the owner with the lack of interest in sales at this place
Jaspas Kennedy Town is always my favorite place .The food are always taste good and big portions, good for sharing as well ,especially the full baby back ribs(huge😋),There’s a lot of options in the menu, try it and you will know .

一家人嚟西環，第一次 嘆西環西餐廳 , 這裏氣氛好， 食物 都啱大人細路， 仲幾好味添 。
整體高CP值，寬敞且座位舒適，飲品高質，食物不是最好但算合格，服務員有禮，最後連厠所都吾錯😅

Great Fusion cuisine place with a wonderful mix of different nationalities staff as well as very good food. The Thai beef salad was outstanding. Outside sitting is also available. Really nice place!

I didn’t know it was possible to make pizza this bad. Seriously, someone had to try very hard to make this aberration. Meat lovers? Hardly. Sauce resembles ketchup. Rubber mozzarella of the cheapest variety. Worst pizza I’ve ever had, full stop, period.
Fettuccine alfredo is the boil in a bag microwave variety with clumpy sauce. Bland and tasteless.
Calamari is overpriced and greasy. Almost no seasoning.
I was looking for good hangover food and I went for a special. My huge mistake never to be repeated.
This place is generic garbage. Stay FAR away.
Flash forward a few months. Someone brought one here. Still, literally the worst pizza on earth

Ordered an omelette for breakfast. Size is of good portion. However it’s not properly salted and need to add salt manually
Lunch is mediocre. The steak, supposed to be medium rare, is medium well. The salad bar is a bit disappointing. Panna cotta is relatively ok

扒餐有驚喜，最欣賞蒜頭，好香牛油味，入口即溶，搶了牛扒的風頭。

Staff wasn’t nice, won’t come back
和朋友來慶祝生日，諗住俾個驚喜佢，事前同經理講嗌甜品嘅時候可否俾個生日牌，點知佢話可以寫埋朋友個名，結果上甜品的時候，朋友好開心，經理同侍應仲一齊唱生日歌！
Classic CASTELLO concepts. Classic crowd pleasers, and definitely pleased the crowd, atmosphere was great, and the staff welcoming and accommodating.
We had the lunch set menu which was perfect lots of main course options for the lunch set.
Starter – Salad Bar – 5 different options to have from the salad bar.
Main – Chicken Schnitzel – medium to large portion size, super crunchy and the couscous was fresh on a hot day
Dessert – chocolate pudding (staff accommodated as I didn’t like the options on the set menu)
Definitely would go back again for the lunch set!

Went to Jaspas for a Sunday brunch, after hearing so many good reviews.
The food overall was good. Started off with Nachos which was the most disappointing dish – they use Doritos chips 😅.
The eggs Benedict, avacado smash & the pancakes 🥞 were the highlight of our meal. The vegetarian pizza was less saucy & lacked flavour, but was ideal for kids.
Ended with a cappuccino.

Part of the Castelo group, so visited with high expectation.
Food – a disappointing experience with my steak & egg dish, which I have always enjoyed with the Group’s other restaurants. Depending on the thickness of different parts of my steak, its temperature ranged from rare to well done. My sunny-side-ups came as boiled, but I ignored as I was starving.
Fruit bowl was also disappointing at this price point. It was fresh (except the pineapple), but with sharply sour raw Mango, so acidic the kiwi tasted sweeter.
Service – staffs were attentive and helpful. Swiftly got to the bottom of the issue when raised (something else with the food, not the above two).
Venue – the deep end could do with more lighting, especially with all the dark wood funlrniture used. Enhanced ventilation would also help with the constant smoke from the open kitchen.
Still can’t believe it’s a Castelo. Food simply not living up to its price point. Definitely going back to its bar & grills instead.

非常喜欢的一家餐馆，做在门外廊檐下喝酒看街景，看铛铛车，很休闲很舒服。
I thought the dinner sets are very reasonably priced considering it is western and American. The place is spacious and not crowdy and service is friendly.

沙律只可以攞一次，選擇都幾好，個南瓜沙律、紅菜頭沙律都好食，最好味，反而係蕃茄仔👍🏻

The service is the best
牛膝值得推薦，非常嫩。蔬菜沙律的種類不多，但是味道還不錯。最後的甜點芒果布丁也不錯。

Decided for this place for a late breakfast as it looked nice outside and Mendel’s on the opposite side of the street was fully occupied (as always).
Smashed avocado with eggs on sourdough and crossaint was delicious. I did go for the white house wine.
The crossaint is the usual upper medium quality you can get in Hong Kong. The avo and egg bread tasted very good (you usually cannot do much wrong with this). However, the eggs were good!
About sitting outside:
To sit next to the street is okayish, but only during off hours and on weekends. Bear in mind that the traffic noise even during these times can be quite heavy – busses, Ding Dings, trucks are always there. You might prefer the air-conditioned place inside.

Have been having lunch here from time to time. The lunch menu is always changing so one never gets bored. The salad bar is a must-try as it has a great variety of choices. Staff are very friendly and food is served fast. Overall good experience here.

This cafe/restaurant came recommended from a local KT resident for being family friendly but sadly it was a disappointment. One of us has ended up with food poisoning.
There were 4 adults and 2 kids in the party for dinner.
My friend ordered the chicken cob salad and has been sick since midnight with all the usual food poisoning symptoms.
Our meals all came out at different times and some of the drinks arrived after the meals. I had to keep asking the staff who looked frazzled where the other meals were. I might mention there were only 2 other tables dining at this time.
It’s a big no from me which is a shame because they could make it great if they tried.
