Sun Thai is a pretty good Thai restaurant with a few branches around the city including this centrally located spot on Carnarvon Road in TST. Opening hours are 12pm to 11pm daily, they are quite busy during peak dining periods so be patient if you want a table or be ready for take-away.
We recently did take-away from this Sun Thai branch. Everything was predictably good. The Green Curry with chicken tasted nice, chicken was tender and curry just a tad bit spicy and of good flavour. Minced Pork and Basil rice dish was fine, less enjoyed their their minced pork & basil salad order, which is more flavourful. Mango and Papaya Salad orders are always very good with fresh ingredients and vibrant, sweet and spicy flavour.
In the end, beyond a couple of preferred places in Kowloon City in our Little Bangkok area, Sun Thai is a solid choice, food is better than you’d expect and consistently good.

幾年前有食過呢間餐廳印象好好 覺得好好味 好正中 好抵食 點知幾年後再食 仲衰過食快餐店 佢冇得訂位之如 仲要點知只得70分鐘食 咁冇辦法啦 約咗朋友嚟到都要食㗎 因為朋友話真係好想食泰國菜 冇諗過55分鐘已經開始吹你 問你落齊嘢食未呀 到齊未呀 仲有冇再加單呀….
起初只叫咗4樣菜：泰式柚子蝦沙律 燒西冷牛扒 冬陰功湯 泰式炒椰菜仔 + 2個椰青沙冰 1開始就只嚟個泰式炒椰菜仔 過咗差唔多15分鐘先嚟另外2個菜 食咗1陣我地覺得仲想叫嘢食 就再叫多個蜜糖燒肋骨 差唔多40幾分鐘後先嚟個冬陰功湯 其實用餐時間真係好趕 佢上菜又遲 但又係咁吹人埋單 根本就係唔合理嘅用餐時間 仲衰過向速食快餐度食嘢呀 起碼人地唔會係咁吹係咁向你周邊行嚟行去 1樣1樣墊枱紙 餐具 杯 碗 碟 咁
收走 所以1定唔會再幫襯 雖然我知道而家餐廳向疫情下好難做生意 但唔係咁樣去對食客囉
講到食物：
柚子蝦沙律……得2隻蝦 蝦沙律喎只得2隻蝦呀
燒西冷牛扒……個肉質韌到咬都咬唔斷咬唔開
係半生熟咁嘅樣㗎 但真係咬唔倒
冬陰功湯……已經係差唔多40分鐘先上枱 諗住應該會好正啦 上到枱係個小碗裝住 但個湯唔熱㗎 嘩 果下真係覺得點解可以差到1個衰到貼地嘅點 真係好好好好很失望呀 連個湯都唔熱又冇辣味 完全變曬質 唔再係之前嘅味道
最後 原來識人就可以唔使70分鐘要急住用餐咁埋單㗎 因為我隔離枱果2個女人正正就係識人 我地就坐向洗手間出面 有3張2人枱 我地坐近住鏡果張枱 之後就嚟咗1個女人佢等緊朋友嚟起碼有10鐘以上) 就坐中間枱 最出面嚟咗對母女坐最外面張枱 我地同對母女張枱就被員工不停吹埋單要交枱 但中間果張枱後來就嚟多個男人 仲叫咗杯大啤酒 食到我地要俾員工吹住起身走啦 中間張枱都仲係食緊嘢吹緊水㗎 所以最緊要識人呀 如果唔係點可以好似佢地敢 可以咁唔公平咁用餐呀 所以呢間樣 永冇下次呀 1定會叫朋友唔好再去食呀….

環境方面：寬闊大氣，新淨，泰特色。想不到還有情調。
等待方面：繁忙時間大約30分鐘以上，普通時間等10-15分鐘。好像可以網上預約。（me walk in）
椒鹽軟腳蟹（78HKD）：香脆可口，適合我的口味。蟹肉也外脆內軟。
冬陰功（78HKD）：酸辣入味，不是很辣。
冰椰青（55HKD）：驚喜啊，很好吃/喝。椰肉，奶和融冰完美混合。

Excellent quality. Very very reasonable price. Spacious seats. One criticism is that the staff missed one of our dishes and didn’t add back to the order despite us reminding them for several times.

Nice & spacious environment. Fairly good value set lunch. Tong Yam Gong seafood fried rice was quite good & ingredients were quite fresh. Coffee included.
Went again with a bigger group. Laksa quite good. Good value lunch.

I felt really regret. Cos The food was actually bad!
I ordered two dishes during non peak hour around 5pm. It was not busy. My veggies was served quite late and cold. I had a bite, the taste was ok. I think the staff spent so much time chitchatting than checking with the kitchen , I told them the dish is cold, they heated it up. When it’s served the second time, it’s overcooked, I hope that they didn’t purposely overcook it. The veggies were too soft and soaked into the watery sauce just like leftover food from the previous night.
Staff was quite impolite.

Was a bit on the sweet side, but it’s a Thai with taste, badly decorated but with a lot of place and big tables, then it’s pretty cool.
A Thai not that pretentious but can be a good start, for a night out with tons of friends. Process ok… ok then voilà!

呢間泰國嘢係尖沙咀算係出名既舖頭，因為樓面面積大，啱晒一班人食飯架啦。卜位卜左6點半，但我哋遲到，7點埋去都安排到位比我哋。我哋叫咗10幾樣嘢，每人一杯野飲。
蕉葉焗盲曹，火喉啱啱好，肉質鮮嫩，伴隨淡淡泰式香料味，但我覺得唔夠咸。
冬蔭功，有個蠟燭仔係底會保持溫度，辣味一般，奶香味濃厚，可能要符合香港人味道，但配料多元化，如海蝦，青口，雜菇等。
泰國街邊豬肉串，估唔到燒得香口又有咁多肉汁，炭燒味配上豚肉位，絕對比乾柴烈火更好食，加上酸辣汁，刺激味蕾。
泰式甜品大拼盆，上菜擺盤都呃到好多相架啦，經典東南亞甜品大混戰，有千層糕、糯米糕、芋頭糕、芒果糯米飯，樣樣野都正常發揮，唔會太甜太浠，好食。

Bad service! Been there a few times for lunch. Part of our order is always missed. Saw that happen in other tables too (where only set lunches are ordered) ???. Worst thing is they won’t admit it but keep saying that it takes time to be prepared in kitchen.

The food at this restaurant was really top-notch. In terms of the prices, I felt that they were quite reasonable for the quality of the food.
However, the time limit on the dinner service was a real problem. I understand that restaurants need to turn over tables, but 1.5 hours just doesn’t feel like enough time for a relaxing meal with friends. And when our time was up, our server became increasingly pushy, urging us to finish our food quickly so that she could clear the table. It made us feel very rushed and uncomfortable.
To make matters worse, the server started clearing our plates and utensils while we were still eating. This was really off-putting, and it definitely didn’t make us want to stay any longer. Overall, I would say that this restaurant is great for a quick bite but it’s not ideal for a leisurely meal with friends.

坐到 60 分鐘就拎個牌埋黎問你甜品 ，80分鐘就俾張單你埋單（想快趕你走），中間不斷會埋黎執野，全部侍應都係hi口hi面，感覺係去左茶記食飯咁。 以晚餐黎講要食到咁樣，我真係寧願食M記好過，唔信既不妨去試試，不過原來之前好多留言已經講過。
All the waitresses are rude and just rush and push you to check the bill, zero service, definitely not recommend.

Not recommended. Dishes are not thai style. The fried glass noodles was tasteless. Fried vegetable was none of thai style. Chicken wing is average. Only good thing is the frost coconut juice. They only set time limit for one and half hour seating for dinner only. I trust many other thai restaurant is better than this.

?生蝦刺身，這道菜色鮮美可口，生蝦新鮮，口感爽脆，搭配上辣醬料更是美味。
??鴨肉生菜包，這道菜色有點像中式的生菜包，但是泰國風味更為突出，鴨肉鮮嫩多汁，搭配上各種香料和醬料，讓人一口接一口。
?香蕉葉燒鱸魚 ，非常特別的菜色，燒得魚肉微微焦香，搭配上香蕉的甜味和大量嘅香料和香矛在魚身同埋魚肚上，十分風味。
?紅咖喱鴨，這道菜色是我們點菜中最喜歡的一道，鴨肉煮得剛好入味，咖喱醬汁濃郁香辣

收工後相約朋友黎尖沙咀覓食，經過K11 Art mall見到對面餐廳好有格調，好正宗既泰國菜館feel，所以就黎左呢間新泰東南亞泰國餐廳試試。?
我們點了多款菜式，其中最令人印象深刻既係鴨肉生菜包。
呢款鴨肉餡以新鮮既鴨肉和脆生菜包裹而成，配上特製的調味醬汁，香氣四溢，味道香濃。???
?鴨肉經過鹽、胡椒、醋、生薑和蒜頭等調料的醃制，散發出濃郁的香氣，再經過炒製，鴨肉表面煎至金黃色，更加香脆好味。
?泰式生蝦也非常出色，鮮嫩的生蝦配上酸辣的醬汁，突出了泰式菜品的鮮明特色，非常開胃，我個人去親泰國菜館都一定會點，呢間餐廳既生蝦都不負所望！?
?泰式柚子蝦沙律顧名思義汁調為酸甜泰式風格，沙律裏加入了清甜紅柚子，口感清爽，蝦和魷魚也食得出非常新鮮，整道菜非常醒胃，很適合春夏天當作頭盤。?
?紅咖哩鴨係一道充滿椰香既主菜，鴨肉表皮經烤過更加香，放入甜而帶微辣的咖哩醬汁，整道菜十分濃郁，配飯一流。
?蕉葉烤鱸魚係一道非常特別既菜式，經過火槍微燒焦蕉葉表面，再巧妙地用上蕉葉蓉蓋上鱸魚身上，再包住塞滿香茅既鱸魚去燒，魚肉更濃郁入味，整道菜食落香濃既不會掩去魚的鮮嫩多汁。
?最後是番石榴沙冰，口感清爽，回到青澀既初夏一樣，非常適合夏天解暑。

Bought some fries and tried to enter but was told no outside food, not a big problem I completely understand, just a minor quibble. However, they said I can bring it in if I pay $50 and so I did. For the price i paid to bring in a bag of soggy fries i was hoping i wouldnt be stopped and asked about them and explain that im paying na extra fee to every single waiter that passed by. The food was subpar , the chicken skewers were nearly raw and tasted like plastic. The green mango salad tasted like cucumber with mayonnaise. Only thing I would get again in my lifetime is the fresh guava juice which was fantastic. Servers were not very friendly and it was not a very nice environment, but the bathrooms were clean
