Don’t let the name of the restaurant and the presence of storefront fish tanks fool you.into thinking that this is a typical Chinese seafood eatery.
They do serve a wide assortment of seafood (abalone, clams, crabs, grouper, lobster, oysters, prawns, scallops, squid). However, they also offer a hodgepodge of popular dishes/snacks (ranging from roast lamb rack, sweet & sour pork, black pepper short ribs to french fries and garlic bread) and skewers (beef, pork, chicken and vegetable).
Our lunch consisted of an eclectic mix of dishes, prepared with fresh ingredients and was complemented by a bottle of sake. We had mapo tofu as an appetizer (compliments of the chef) and hand-made shrimp cakes/pork patties for starters. Next up was the lobster french toast — i.e. a big chunk of lobster meat on a piece of french bread with salsa spread. Finally, we took the chef up on his offer of a plate of newly roasted bbq pork, served with a fried egg, choy sum and a bowl of rice..
All in all, it was a delectable meal.

Visited the place during lunch and have the seafood steamed rice. Roomy place with good service. The chef patiently explained the origin of their seafood. More choices for dinner so will def go back!

海鮮烹調方法可選擇，但是味道夠濃，可能會蓋過海鮮本身的鮮味。店子細小，坐位不太舒服。烹調食物等的時間也較長。地點也不容易找｡在近期明星介紹效應下，要先訂位進餐才可。
A nice seafood restaurant located in Kennedy Town where you may get surprise. It is not a conventional seafood restaurant and they provide a variety methods on how your order foods are prepared. It is a good choice for small group gathering.

味道唔錯
光顧了午餐，選了枝竹炆煮斑腩配白飯和飲品。斑腩啖啖肉，很美味。午餐時間顅客不多，雖然餐廳裝修簡單，但坐得尚算舒適。定必再光顧。

unfortunately today’s visit at lunch is not that pleasant as the lady who took order and serve was laid back, wooden face/西口西面，to my very general enquiry to the introduction to lunch menu. see i was her enemy, 殺咗佢全家。 what a pity that such a nice restaurant hired a bad staff.

Simple setting but food is good, little MSG and nice service. But the space is tiny, maybe able to cramp less than 20 people tightly.
A wonderful small boutique for excellent seafood. Try the BBQ dishes too – fantastic.

當天途經這裡，看到店名「海鮮角樂」特別，又想吃海鮮，已過了午膳繁時間，差不多3点，已沒有其他顧客在內，只得我們2人。坐低第一印象，那位(唯一)女士接待我們，完全以不友善的方式招呼，粗聲粗氣，不耐煩地表露無遺。問一答一，不會溝通，不友善，這樣待客之道要改善。基於當時十分肚餓，想吃海鮮。都要坐下來，叫了一客籠仔蒸海鮮飯，一隻蒸鮮鮑魚。籠仔海鮮飯很好味，配料充足，原隻蠏，班塊丶龍蝦丶蟶子。鮑魚也很鮮味。最後加多一客魚湯，飽滿地結賬離開。

it only serves takeaway now, no eat in. for the special occasion i ordered a set of steam seafood rice and with extra razor clams. the set also came with the fish soup which was very nice! i took it home and reheated a bit, then it’s a great meal for the two of us! the steamed rice was covered with lots of seafood- three abalones (my favourite!), scallops, many chopped squids, and three big prawns! both the prawns and razor clams were steamed with garlics and glass noodles. the rice underneath well absorbed all the flavour from the seafoods and just to add a bit soy sauce (they provided) on top it’s perfect! the portion is good enough for the two of us. great takeaway choice and could enjoy seafood meals at home, getting rid of all the messy preparation works by self! lol~ the bamboo steamer is reusable. good to keep it for home cooking then. highly recommended.
Good selection of seafood at a reasonable price. Fair portions as well. But the quality control is not good. Sometimes very salty and sometime without taste.

菜式雖然以中式海鮮為主，但店舖名字和裝修卻完全脫離傳統，店面設計十分新派年輕，店裡營造外國漁村風格，充滿異國情調，食客年齡層也很年輕。

大多數食物有驚喜。但魚湯卻用料不夠新鮮是敗筆。

今次要咗花竹蝦蒸飯，蝦肉又大又鮮味。墨魚夠爽口，蒜蓉同海鮮粉絲唔使講都知係勁夾，索曬鮮果嘅粉絲一百分。一個人食都啱啱好😋 不過下次可以叫小飯，食少啲 carbs
其實仲叫咗個阿媽魚湯，大大碗好甜嘅魚香味。真係有家的感覺喎，正🥰
親切的感覺就像鄰里酒吧，但性價比較差。如果你想吃海鮮，你不必來這裡。
We had a six course set menu. Quality of food was absolutely disappointing and below standard. The lobster is shockingly overcooked that the meat was tough and inedible. The crab was thin and tiny and almost impossible to locate any meat. Overall, totally disastrous dining experience.

What a wonderful place for seafood and skewers! As the name suggests, it is a cozy place for enjoying fresh seafood, and it certified did not disappoint us! Every kind of seafood is so on point, from daily oyster, to scallops and shrimps. Moreover, the skewers surprised us too! The food quality is so good that I cannot wait to be back again. Be sure to book your tables early as it can get pretty full during weekends! Bravo!
