I am Bill Griffiths ans now consider myself a regular, a regular, annual visitor to Hong Kong and in fact lived here, Married here, brought up children here Many Years ago…..and I have found Shoreditch a fabulous place to be,,
,all the staff are so genuinely pleased to do everything to make your stay pleasant.

Great food and great ambience – definitely worth a visit if you are looking for something good to eat in the neighbourhood! I had the pasta and it was one of the tastiest I have had in Hong Kong. We stayed for dessert which was good but not quite as good as the main dishes.

nice restaurant with nice food, a bit expensive but worth every penny
High ceilings and its airy environment gives this place a great laidback atmosphere. It is semi-open with lots of glass so you can watch the trams sail by while sipping on something from the great beer selection.
Food and service are great, though they don’t do burgers and sandwiches, I managed to order a burger not on the menu, along with thick-cut fries. (They might add it when they can ensure a consistent supply of quality minced beef, right now it’s made from their steaks, hence they keep it off menu). However service is a little slow by local standards.
I visited on a Monday afternoon. No crowds.

It may be pricy but the tiny delight ahead was totally worth every cent, so it’s doesn’t fall under my personal definition of overpriced. Space is comfortable even though the neighborhood may not be.

I loved the whole experience. From the decor and vibe, to the food. I had the Fillet steak and the Molten chocolate pudding – both were amazing! Best dessert I’ve had in HK.

I don’t know what happened, it could have been an off day but the steaks we had were tasteless. The staff were fantastic however and accommodated my nephew, and the beer selection was great. I would have given a 3.5 if it was possible as I feel 3 is harsh but 4 gives a false impression. I will still give them another try due to the aforementioned positives.
$68 lunch set of 1 burger with fries + ice tea is a good deal. Burger was not bad. Some interesting selections. Burger bun was plain and could have been toasted. Nice selection of beers on draft.
A cozy neighbourhood corner with wide selections of food and drinks. The steaks were of quality meat, service was good and staff were friendly but could do a bit better with attention to details i.e. getting the order and billed items right etc.

surprisingly great food, friendly staff and nice draft beers (i love Mungo, the other one is darker). don’t miss their dessert, it’s absolutely delish – the apple & blackberry crumble was to-die-for. baked bananas came with house-made banana ice cream!
Place wasn’t busy and took them 35 mins to make a Scottish Bap with avocado egg and sausage. Foods out and they forgot about the egg. Food quality was actually okay.

叫了藍青口意粉，其中有幾隻不新鮮，意粉汁只有忌廉味而沒有其他鮮味。另外要了一客煎三文魚，吃起來比較乾而不軟，廚師沒有技巧。
Ordered set lunch. Ran out of mussels linguine, replaced by mix seafood linguine, terrible bad seafood and rotten prawns. When we paid, the waitress asked how it was, I made the same comment. She just gave me a funny look , did not comment, chef was just opposite me … no comment. Not even an apology, they were too busy checking out their food pictures rather than paying attention to the customers.

The house red was good…the lamb skewer and the venison stuffed chicken wings were all very tasty. The price was also acceptable.
Very slow service as only 2 staff on – given it’s a public holiday and the place was full you’d think they’d have more. Got roast chicken which took forever to come (way more than the 30 mins mentioned on the menu) and the chicken was so dry, gravy was bitter. All this and it was pretty expensive. Won’t be back.

The food was pretty good, but given the price, I’d expect it to be better. The main issue I had was the service, from the poor attitudes to the near hour it took for my cheese platter to arrive to the table after we had finished our main courses. When I asked where the cheese platter was ~40 minutes into waiting, the server just said “it’s coming” with an attitude as if I was dumb for not knowing that already.
For the price, you would expect either good food with okay service, or okay food with good service. Instead, they only offer okay food with poor service.
Had a reasonable experience here a few times before. Price is OK with the 50% off they usually have on Eatigo but wouldn’t really be acceptable without. However on my most recent visit the male manager who I hadn’t seen before uncomfortably tried to pressure me into ordering more (I ordered a starter and main already) so I actually cancelled my order and left.

I had dinner on Saturday night and lunch on Monday and both times the food was excellent. The staff were friendly and attentive. Would recommend if you are in the area.
Awesome food and cozy environment, booked through eatigo and enjoyed extra discount. Overall a wonderful dinning experience!
