Cozy restaurant serving Kaiseki (traditional Japanese dinner) prepared by Chef Suzuki, trained at Tokyo’s world famous Imperial Hotel. Experience a delectable array of amazing dishes that will arouse at least six different taste sensories.
Chef Suzuki-san opened this restaurant 1 year ago (year 2018). He is an experienced chef who used to work in Ginza Imperial hotel & for 7 years in HK Nadaman. Food and service were both good. I particularly like their cooked abalone, Hokkaido Wagyu beef and oyster rice bowl. I know they serve Oyakodon (chicken and egg rice bowl) and Katsudon (porkchop cutket rice bowl) during lunch hour which i will definitely try in future.
Very reasonably priced Kaiseki restaurant in Hong Kong. Chef has heart with his cooking.

午餐來到跑馬地,點了omakase
同平常食過的omakase 有點不同,不竟是主打懷石料理,比較少sashimi、手握壽司,多熟食。食到一半愈食愈有驚喜,最喜歡燒和牛,海膽魚飯(飯吸收晒魚油香味,最後份量太多,做了飯團打包帶走)
最後甜品是師傅自己做的紅豆甜品、時令生果是蜜瓜都很甜👍🏻
店員都很有禮,傾談之間知道師傅原來是在日本imperial 酒店學藝,對食物及擺設都非常有講究,值得再來。
跑馬地甚少去,今日專程入去食午餐。友人上網找到一間好似不錯的日式料理店,價錢比較貴,午餐平均要三百元左右。無所謂啦…不是日日都咁貴嘅!嘻嘻!
點了天婦羅套餐,首先是清新翠綠的沙律菜。
日式蒸蛋好滑溜,底部混入年糕之類,我不太喜歡黏稠的年糕。
天婦羅即叫即做,熱呼呼的,外層漿衣薄薄,不會影響到口感。
天婦羅份量不少,炸蝦都有三隻,好味啊!
麵豉湯味道濃厚,不會太鹹。
最後抹茶雪糕甜品,完美的一頓午餐。
I had dinner at this restaurant more than 3 times with my close friends and now it is in my fav restaurants list in Hong Kong. I usually don’t bring colleagues to my personal preferred restaurant but one of my colleagues decided to move to UK for good so she asked me to bring her my recommended Japanese restaurant coz I am Japanese and she knows I grew up in gourmet family although I am not that picky on the daily meal. So I booked this restaurant for her farewell.
They serve consistently good dishes so I always go for Omakase course. Like wise my colleagues did. Every dish was served at right timing both food wise and our conversation wise.

Chef Suzuki being a purist in Japanese cuisine does not serve salmon. A good sign for a fine dining establishment true to the flavours of the cuisine. Tucked away in a side street in Happy Valley it truly is a find. Every dish was a joy to the senses. From the Japanese salad, chawanmushi, crab, tempura, wagu steak, tofu w/ crab to the rich flavour of miso soup.
