Staff was a bit snobby, small portions and quite pricey. Not very satisfied.
Great coffee and great staff. Food choices are well rounded and very tasty. Will be back.

Fine if you’ve got the time, but this is not a place to get breakfast before work. Service times are unpredictable and can be as long as 20 minutes. The last time I went I had to walk out on an $80 omelet to get to work on time. A word of caution…

Introvert friendly
Service was absolutely rubbish, staff were rude and unhelpful to my friend and I and they talked super loudly to each other which it was very distracting. To top it all off, they basically kicked us out 1/2 hour before closing time because it seemed like they wanted to leave early.
I’m giving it two stars because the coffee isn’t bad, but otherwise avoid.

Service was horrible, whether it’s online or offline (I tried both), staff was really rude so good luck to them under current circumstances. I generally was an easy person but this is on my block list forever
Cozy and casual cafe, great for nomad. Coffee was OK. Food served was Chinese style western food with all-day-breakfast and go-for-veggie options. WiFi was very strops when I visited. The service is minimum but friendly enough to care about you and leave you alone. Good place to visit if you are already in the area.
A very relaxing cafe, with great service and drinks! The day we went was pretty cloudy though, so the courtyard was under shade and didn’t look very to sit at. The drinks are a little bit pricey and the location of the cafe aren’t very convenient. This cafe also closed at 6, me and my friends didn’t know at first, and we were asked to leave after only sitting inside for an hour. We were disappointed but it’s our bad. The staff speaks in English and they are very friendly.

(-) both staffs were from Philippines and both were so loud talking to each other. I sat on the furthest table from the counter to where they were working, and I still fell like I was in a wet market.

Summary: food is decent but not amazing. If you are super hangry and happened to come across this place, then yea you can stop by there. Otherwise I don’t see why anyone would go there really.

Went because when I searched it mentioned dog friendly, after walking in the heat for 15mins, was told that it was no longer dog friendly. Disappointed.
As a freelance writer and typewriter restorer, there are times when I have to get away from my desk. I used to go to Starbucks (too noisy), then Pacific Coffee (chairs too comfortable). Finally I stumbled across Opendoor Cafe — in the shadow of the footbridge across Connaught Road West. An oasis of cheerful chatter and coffee machines, the Outdoor Cafe & Courtyard has free wifi, seating to suit anyone — outdoor tables at the back for smokers, large tables for groups, and a handful of quiet corner tables — ideal for me. Most of the time, I order a coffee (the Bulletproof coffee — with coconut and butter — is great first thing in the morning), but now and again I will eat. The staff here are naturally cheerful and friendly — an increasingly rare thing in Hong Kong. I tend to be a miserable old so-and-so when writing in my corner of the Café, but the staff are never less than helpful and friendly. They are also very professional and prepare a range of comfort meals — from all-day breakfast to burgers, as well as pasta and salads. Their smoothies and health-conscious super smoothies are a great treat on hot summer afternoons. The only downside is that they do not accept credit-card payment. I tend to use cash and Octopus card. Food and drink, seating and staff all get top marks. Highly recommended.

You’ve probably walked past it many times. But step inside and you’re on for a treat. The smoothies and coffee are fresh and tasty. The ambience is relaxed and welcoming. The staff are really friendly and helpful. And the prices are very reasonable. Unpretentious and easy going it’s a welcome respite from every-day HK.
Service was absolutely outstanding ,staff were friendly ,cheerful and helpful.The atmosphere of the cafe seem quite relaxing and comfortable and for the food it’s not bad, I highly recommend there vegetarian cauliflower rice which is good for vegetarian people and for there drinks hot coffee would a great choice and you can choose any type of milk…

First time here and I’m loving the vibe! Really spacious and comfortable place to get some work done. Not too busy on a Friday so you can stay here for the whole day. Very friendly and nice servers, always smiling and happy. Cappuccino was amazing with some cocoa powder toppings. Food is ok, not too memorable but gets the job done. Great for freelancers or people who work from home!

It isn’t the staffs fault directly but they told me to leave my umbrella outside in their umbrella stand instead of bringing it into the shop. Later, they came to me and said that someone grabbed my umbrella and walked off with it and did absolutely nothing about it.. kept repeating to me it was a mother with a baby but i think it shouldn’t excuse them just letting it happen

Great cafe for working. Wifi is fast and you can find quiet and cozy tables. There are power outlets as well, so you can finish all of your tasks. Coffee is okay too, and the staff is very nice. Highly recommend, especially if you’re looking for a space get things done in!

I have been working in Sai Ying Pun for months, which is very near my workplace. I like going here for my lunch & last time I came with my boyfriend, we ordered Smoked Salmon Cauliflower rice & chicken Cauliflower rice. That was unexpectedly tasty & I like the quick service here. Staffs are amicable, and it’s a good place for a silent manner if you don’t want anyone to disturb you. I also very much appreciated the iced cappuccino that they don’t add sugar because I am on a keto diet basis.
