見到半溶想塌落黎嘅芝士蛋糕，就知道係Hemma嘅代表作 🥰 以前係舊店曾經買過外賣，今次假日11點半到訪西營盤新店，等左大約15分鐘就有位 🤩 試了兩款芝士蛋糕和手工意粉 😚 (ps 出到黎條龍超級長，所以想食就趁早排隊啦~)

檸檬酸度好適當，唔會好似檸檬撻咁酸，因為佢嘅檸檬酸味主要嚟自蛋糕面頭嘅黃色部分，同半溶芝士一齊食會中和返 😛 半溶芝士如同想像中咁香滑咁出色 😍 但蛋糕送到嘅時候，餅撻已經因為芝士太軟熟而搨咗，賣相就差咗少少，而且餅底我會希望脆啲，相信會更好食 😋

都是同期舊式樓宇~

餐牌不是太多~要自行影下自己看~及自助斟水~

粟米芯太辣，在餐牌內沒有提及~不太細心~反而香腸太多~火箭菜不夠~如果有得加返牛油果就多好了~🥑

【人氣手作巴斯克芝士蛋糕網店開的兩層高Cafe】
果然聞名的店就是會有很多人聞名排隊去試，
而且”名物”也賣得特別快。
Hemma 是一間人氣手作巴斯克芝士蛋糕的網店
現在在西營盤開了兩層高的實體店，
Cafe除供應蛋糕外，還有意粉聽說也很出名喔
星期六下午2點45左右去到，都要排1小時有多，
而且其實3點就截龍。
因為營業時間只到下午4點，絕對建議大家早點去！
樓下是吧桌位置，可以看到咖啡師沖咖啡。
樓上則有一個自成一角的閣樓位，
也有自修室位，一個人來吃蛋糕也不尷尬呢
點餐需要自行落地下那層，
所以坐樓上的話，店員會叫客人影低Menu …
說到Menu，完全看得出價錢最少改了兩次，
其實印過一張可能會比較適合。
另外要注意這裡最低消費一杯飲品，
所以如果對他們的飲品沒興趣就不建議來吃囉
若是想吃巴斯克芝士蛋糕，那就直接網上填單訂購吧！
因為我們是截龍前的最後一枱客人，所以甜點都已經賣光了。
只剩下檸檬口味的就不太吸引，只好放棄 …
幸好還有三款意粉，不然排那麼久只喝到飲品會崩潰！
Squid Ink Linguine with Squid ($168) – 三款中最費的。
標示兩隻辣椒，實際上也頗辣，只吃到少辣的就不要挑戰吧
這店的墨汁扁意粉是指加入了墨魚汁的彈牙意粉，不會吃到嘴黑黑喇 (笑) 魷魚很Q彈，還有車厘茄。很獨特美味，不過貌相可以好看點？
Gnocchi with Tomato Cream Sauce ($158) –
是坊間比較少見的薯糰，喜歡煙韌口感就選這個吧！配上酸甜的番茄忌廉醬、茄子、巴馬臣芝士脆和炸羽衣甘藍脆，會有驚喜喔！
Aglio e Olio with Shrimp ($148) –
蒜香味很濃，但味道上就普普通通那樣子。蝦和意粉都滿彈牙的。
最低消費的飲品點了 Hot Chocolate with homemade Marshmallow ($65) 好濃郁的朱古力，
即使混了棉花糖後也不會覺得太甜。
當然如果想喝濃度更高的朱古力可以先吃掉棉花糖！
另外一個朋友點的是茶 – Fruity Rooibos ($48) 果香味十足。
Total：$652 (不設加一服務費)
平均每位$217.3。雖然食物質素不錯，但要排1小時多真的沒動力再來，或者我還是考慮一下網上訂他們的巴斯克芝士蛋糕好了。

I have lined up for 30 minutes and ended up thr staff told me the cake has sold out. To be honest they should do the stock count and they should know how many cakes approx they have left instead leaving people lining up outside for nothing. Not sure if thats their marketing strategy, keeping the line to show how popular they are. Super irresponsible and bad operation.
Came with great expectation for the Hemma’s Burnt cheesecake. Some said it’s World No.1. Have been wanting to try but give up trying due to the long queue.
Today I tried my luck and visited Hemma at 11am. Managed to get a counter table for 3 without waiting, yay!

I am sitting at the counter which is located at the entrance of the cafe. I love the high ceiling and the simple white and tasteful decoration. From the counter seat, I can see the staffs are taking their time to prepare each order carefully.
They only serve breakfast menu till 1130 and take in order for lunch from 1145. I must say that they don’t have an extensive menu, each order take a while to arrive at our table. I was losing a bit of patience and had to check with the waiter on my order.
When the food arrived, I can tell that the chef made the food with lots of heart and care. Love the Hemma Breakfast, scrambled egg is so moist, buttery and well seasoned, it comes with 2 sausages, side salad and baked layered potatoes. Very yummy.
My yoghurt bowl took the longest to arrive. But it is so gorgeous and it is of perfect size. The homemade granola is so crispy and flavorful, love the whole combination!
Masala Chai Latte is made fresh when I ordered. It’s one of the best Masala chai I had.
The burnt cheesecakes, oh the burn cheesecakes are to die for. A must try! The sweetness, texture and taste are on point. Both lemon and vanilla are beautiful!
Overall, I totally enjoyed my experience at Hemma. A place where you should visit with good friends for catch-up (there is a minimum spending of drink per person and each table is given 1.5hours only), or a place for your hide out with a good book.

Staff is not nice and treating customer rude. Rush us to finish our food quick and ask us to leave while we have only been there for 45 minutes.
Food is alright but apparently they are being arrogant as they know people generally likes their cake. Will never come back again.

Came for the cheesecake which was really good. Hot chocolate was impressive. The Hemma breakfast had tons of different flavours, not sure if it all works together.
Queue was fine at 950am, but soon after it blew up.

I was a fan of hemma but this cafe gave me an Unbelievably bad experience. Customer was asked to go upstairs to get a table-stand by yourself and then back downstairs to make an order at the cashier and then back upstairs to sit. There was no communication that only black coffee is served. When the coffee arrived, the staff refused to provide any milk and sugar even though I clearly expressed that I could not drink black coffee. After a long argument, I was allowed to change it to a cup of tea but the tea which finally arrived was not what I have ordered. The cake is not as yummy as before.
I’m sure you will regret if you come.

另外order咗首本名物之一 – lemon burnt cheesecake 🍋 cheesecake食落勁流心 唔會太重芝士味 同坊間嘅cheesecake比light好多 檸檬味亦令到件cake食落更加醒胃 唔會太膩 超級好評！

The waiter forgot our cake for 1 hour, until we asked. We thought they are baking it on the spot or sthg but apparently they just fetched it from a fridge.
Quite bad work ethic – they leave customers in the line even after 14:30. They are cleaning up the place – not in the mood to serve any more customers as they will close at 15:00. But why can’t you just tell people no need to queue? They are queueing for quite some long time.
Cake is ok obviously not the best in town…
The price of the cake is already quite high in small portion, but it also requires to order one drink per person while the drink menu is also very normal…

Rum Raisin Burnt Cheesecake Gnocchi with Tomato Cream Sauce
Firstly, the cake doesn’t deserve of the price and an hour of waiting, just a normal cheese cake :)))) Secondly, each customer have to order a drink (even you ordered the cakes), obviously is a bundling (捆綁式消費), it’s very annoying. Thirdly, poor view, uncomfortable seating (especially first floor). Overall, I don’t recommend it.

Visited during weekday before they open and there were already many people waiting in the line. Basically no service as other review mentioned. Customers are asked to order minimum 1 drink per person and have to order at downstairs. So basically you would need to first wait in line to get in then wait in line to order. Oh don’t forget to grab utensils by yourself – no service at all. They take only Payme and cash.
Tried the Hemma breakfast and earl grey burnt cheesecake, both tasted good but I wouldn’t say it’s the world best cheesecake… especially consider the small portion, long wait and no service.
Hand drip coffee is good. I like their cups in particular. Earl Grey Cheesecake has a strong hint of earl grey tea which I like, not too sweet as well. The cookie bottom goes well with the cake itself.
burnt cheese cake 好好味，叫了 Vienna 味 同 rum 酒味 cheese cake 各一件，芝士味不會太濃、太溜，vienna同rum酒味幾出，兩款cheese cake 味道都好協調得好好，喜歡飲酒得人應該會喜歡 rum 酒味，店家捨得落料。個人還是喜愛 vienna 味多啲。
另外要一提手沖咖啡，也要一試，入口順滑、不嗆，相當可以，陪襯 cheese cake 同吃，是很好的 marriage。
最後一提，排隊真的耐。星期二12:03 開始排隊，企足1小時45分才可入坐。而且2:37截龍。另外店家也規矩多多，只收現金或 payme，每人最少要叫一杯飲品。

First of all, it is a very popular restaurant and I have expected a very long waiting time. The shop opens at 10 and I arrive at 1040. I waited for 2 hours and i got in at about 1245.
Secondly, It is basically self-service which you have to take your own utensils and pour water by yourself.
For the main, I ordered a Gnocchi in tomato cream sause. For desert, I ordered rum raisin cheesecake and a oreo cheese cake as it is what this restaurant is famous for.
The Gnocchi is a fail which the texture is too soft and the flavour did not really match the dish.
The rum raisin cheesecake is the only thing that consider as a pass. However, it still did not amaze me by its taste. Not worth the time waiting.
Lastly, the oreo cheesecake is somehow too wet which the crust at the bottom and top is soft and sticky. Totally not what I am expecting for such an expensive cake.
Hope there will be improvement. I would not recommend anyone for the visit.

If you see it as a piece of cake that’s not fully cooked, you wouldn’t want to spend that much time for lining up. It looks nice, very Instagrammable. But the taste is not as good as what you expected as a cheesecake coz there no cheese taste to it (wondering what kind of cream cheese they are using). You are required to order at least a piece of cake and a drink. I arrived there at 9:45am on a Thursday morning, there were around 10 people ahead of me. 20mins wait for this is ok, but not for 2 hours.

Menu says this is supposed to be a matcha latte. Scalded milk and randomly stirred in matcha powder make a matcha latte? How confusing that such a drink should be served to customers.
The cake was ok—nothing to shout about. A very tiny piece for that price is not worth it. At least the cake looks like a cake—unlike the unidentifiable matcha latte.
If you’re a tourist (like myself), please do yourself a favour and save the calories for something else. There are better places in HK.

不過我認為距離世一還差一點

during my first visit the earl grey cake was not available so i had to head down to try it when i saw someone else post it on Instagram!! the cheesecake did not disappoint- light and you could taste the different layers: the cake, the salted cream etc and i couldn’t stop myself from gobbling it all up! the oolong tea was just ok and as expected, but i like how they serve it in a little cup + pitcher – creates a therapeutic tea-tasting moment!

And expect a very wired minimum spending policy of 1 drink per person.
My friend and I ordered 3 cakes and 2 pastas, but the staff insists that we need to order two more drinks as we did not meet the minimum spending requirement. Ended up ordering 2 drinks, spending $100 on sth I didn’t wanted.
Not worth the long queue. The burnt cheese cake was tiny and honestly not worth the hype. Food and drinks were mediocre. I would only eat if there’s no queue.

當天唔洗排隊就諗住去試下，因為早餐，加上burnt cheesecake 咁易整又要成$6x 咁貴所以無食到。
早餐叫左個簡單既yogurt bowl,但等左30分鐘都仲未有=_= … 我追左兩次，仲要比人黑面
簡單既野又唔洗煮，無特別， 但都要$8x 幾，仲要等半個鐘仲要黑面。
甜點有啲不知所謂，完全唔知自己食緊咩，又冰又硬，又甜又漏。

慕名而來食世一芝士蛋糕。點知出了mothers day special…結果三款蛋糕都點了。芒果那款只是放了芒果肉在原味芝士蛋糕上！反而焦糖那款無論係cream定蛋糕都是焦糖味，係細件啲，可以一試。熱朱古力第一啖好有驚喜，好濃。總結：蛋糕好矜貴，小得很。留返錢、時間同胃口去試其他好了。

I saw this place and it had a long long line and wondered what people were lining up for. Looked the place up online and was surprised that the place had low ratings and wondered if they were just bashers of a popular place.
Decided to go and try out their Earl grey cheesecake and got this sorry half melted mess of a cheesecake. It didn’t taste exceptional. Got tea too and it came a long time after I finished the cake. I had to follow it up to get it. I guess they could care less about the quality of their goods and service since they’re already famous.
I would recommend this cheese cake to anyone who loves a good dessert.

留意到Hemma 其實係由見到佢有peanut butter and chocolate crème cookie sandwich😂. 主要因為我之前幫襯開的一間cafe 無賣之後，我就搵唔返了！所以見到呢度有果陣真係好興奮!
之前有次公眾假期想探訪， 估唔到摸門釘，今次我smart d 真係有check 清楚先話話黎。
另外仲試左gnocchi with tomato cream sauce, 有驚喜! Gnocchi chewy 有口感，個sauce 豐富得來，唔太膩👍🏻

我們當日下午大約三點左右到達，
前面大約有六七個人在排隊，
可見他的宣傳威力有多強大。
早在店家在這個位置選址開店前，
他在舊舖的巴斯克蛋糕我已經品嚐過一次，
確實，當時香港並未有這種質感的巴斯克蛋糕，
可是又說不上是驚為天人；
今天再品嘗，
其實仍然未有這種感覺。
雲呢拿味尚算突出，
但說種凝固狀態，
也許不是若果再多一點我的那杯茶。
不過以打卡程度來說，
這裏的確比其他地方優勝。

反而讓我驚喜的，
是這裏的意粉類，
雖然只有三款選擇，
但是出品卻比其他意大利餐廳優勝。
蒜香味配搭彈牙的魷魚，
面條的軟硬度剛好，
若果再多一點蕃茄的香甜，
已經是無懈可擊。

茄子處理的很好，
麵糰子比其他餐廳的稍大，
煙韌有咬口，
加上蕃茄忌廉汁和巴馬臣芝士，
配合得剛好。
也許下次再來，
會是因為他們的意粉，而不是蛋糕。
為食cheesecake而去，驚喜地食物同飲品都好好👍

Squid Ink Linguine with Squid Gnocchi with Tomato Cream Sauce Vanilla Burnt Cheesecake
You must buy a drink, which costs at least $50. The water was dripping heavily (they used buckets to catch the constant drip) from air con which was not even cooling the seating area. The cheesecake themselves were very small portion. Creamy, yes, but not good value for money. Not worth the hype. Totally not worth queuing for it.
