Ever since this shop is open, i drop by almost every week w my colleagues and friends or sometimes alone, Sharon and team are wonderful, professional and friendly at the same time, their cakes sell like hot cakes, i mean cool cakes!!!! Not too sweet like Lady X, and just right w that later of sponge cake below and it taste like heaven w a cup of their specialty teas! Do drop by earlier of the day cos their cakes all sold out almost every day after 3pm!!! 🤣
Lovely millicrepes. Tried matcha one and rose lychee flavour and I really like it. Wanna try milk tea one but it sold out already and it was limited flavour as well.

從蘋果日報介紹下，按圖索驥慕名而來。在下午三時許，和腹大便便的太太從旺角滿心歡喜老遠來到西營盤。甫抵當刻發現蛋糕櫃空空如也，店員第一句便說蛋糕賣完，然後提議我們可以喝杯咖啡云云，如此看來碰釘的顧客肯定不只我倆；有幸看到此文而想去光顧者請千萬要三思，否則光顧不成還把自己寶貴的 time cost 都輸掉。

For God’s sake, how come a cake shop supply no cakes??? In reality their cakes are unavailable for most of the time. I mean it!!
Shaz Confections serves a refreshing variety of 16-layer crepe cakes that are fluffy, velvety and so beautiful that you can’t resist taking a picture first before sinking your teeth into it. Best of all, it’s not overly sweet.

店內沒有太多座位，但不少人到小店花上一兩小時享受假日
蛋糕售價中上，但質素與價錢正比，好比某大品牌
椰子味千層蛋糕最為特別，坊間難以見到常，椰味濃郁，蛋糕層層有序，過後飽而不膩，值得推介！

Nice crepe cake, I tried matcha and was better than Lady X. Good coffee too. Should try if you’re in the neighborhood.
這間以千層蛋糕有名的小店位於西營盤，店內的環境很休閒，主打手工製的千層蛋糕，有很多不同的味道，有時還會有其他限定的味道。
今次試咗班蘭味， 一層層的感覺分明，忌廉打得十分幼滑，加多一杯咖啡就是一個令人精神的下午茶。

因為連放幾日假, 諗住行遠啲去咗西營盤嘅Shaz Confections買期待已久嘅千層蛋糕😝Shaz嘅鋪面唔係好大, 位置唔係好多, 大食妹同朋友仔2點零鐘去到嘅時候已經爆滿👨👨👧👦千層蛋糕都賣到七七八八, 無咩款式可以揀😭最後我哋揀咗個港式奶茶味千層蛋糕, 打包返屋企做飯後甜品🍰千層蛋糕最底部竟然用海綿蛋糕充數, 大食妹對於呢點好不滿😤千層蛋糕嘅layer好薄, 睇得出蛋糕師傅好有料到👨🏻🍳中間奶茶味嘅cream都好綿密, 可惜味道好淡😕雖然落有奶茶香, 但食落竟然一啲味都冇, 好失望😞 …

I have go to K11 try the Afternoon Tea Set. That is great and food is delicious. I will go next time again.
My first time @Shaz Confections was about a year now and since that moment, my everyday life is getting better than never.
I fell in in love with this cute café, the crepe cake and its staff the first time I popped in.
Vast variety of snacks, food and beverages, vegetarian options are also available, very nice and welcoming atmosphere.
I decided just now to write a review as many of my favorite places for a nice cuppa had gone. We have indeed entered a ‘very dangerous situation’ for all businesses purposes and it s good to know that the few left are fighting to bring out their bests for us.
Trust me, just try and and you will be totally transported on a journey where quality is emphasized.

Shop owner from Singapore, hence a home made Pandan cake. Pretty tasty and authentic.
Shop has coffee section – managed by a single barista, and a small kitchen with a reasonable list of menu – managed by a separate young lady.
The ambience was ok, pretty cozy. Good to spend an afternoon with coffee and a book.
I had an Americano, reasonably made. Also tried their tea, from France, but typical French style, more aroma and less body.
Tried the mushroom avocado on toast, tasted ok. The Chicken salad was good, chicken nicely seasoned, veg was fresh, just a little on the salty side unfortunately.
Two drinks and two lunch dishes fetched a HK$236 bill.
The only complaint I have is, for whatever reason, they like to keep the shop door open – which means more noise as cars drive by, and more dust coming into the shop landing on your coffee and food. For that, I deduct one star.
今日黎開西營盤，專登黎睇下仲有冇斑蘭椰子千層蛋糕，見仲有喎，天都想我食。可惜令我失望，冇乜斑蘭椰子味，皮好食既，但奶油普通，唔夠滑，可能其它味會好少少掛，我覺得唔駛專登黎食。
今天星期一1個人大概2點walk in 進去，裡面只有兩桌客人，可以直接入座。這間店的蛋糕非常好吃，我點了一個raspberry 芝士蛋糕和朱古力熱飲！芝士蛋糕是軟芝士，軟綿綿的口感，是淡淡的香味，中間夾有cream並不會覺得很甜，😛並沒有絲毫內疚感！Raspberry 是酸甜的味道，是新鮮的水果！ 對於朱古力熱飲，我需要特別講一講，朱古力☕️並不甜，入口的感覺是濃厚的朱古力，是高級的朱古力味道！雖然價錢並不便宜，但還是會推薦大家去吃，偶爾去吃換一天好心情！ …

飯後甜品
店舖售賣好多款精品千層蛋糕，散件買或原個蛋糕買(要預訂)都得。兩個人叫咗件「冧酒提子」千層蛋糕 (HKD58)、一杯黑芝麻latte (HKD42)和一杯凍Americano (HKD32)作為飯後甜品。
「冧酒提子」千層蛋糕以海綿蛋糕做餅底，每一層都充滿Rum酒忌廉和薄班㦸。我鍾意酒味夠香濃但就覺得忌廉就多得濟😆，不過我隔離嗰位先生食到津津有味囉。

As a fan of pandan flavoured things, I have been meaning to try this cafe because of the pandan mille crepes.
There are so many flavours for the mille crepe including Earl Grey etc.
I am glad I didn’t go earlier because they now have this new Singaporean inspired Otak Otak Toast!

Singaporean inspired Otak Otak Toast:
I don’t normally order the Otak Otak because it has lemongrass in it but ordered it because it was in the form of a toast so decided to try it.
It basically reminded me of the prawn toasts in the UK but without sesame and replaced with fish.
It was so damn delicious and the lemongrass was subtle.
To me otak otak is basically a South East Asian form of Chinese minced mudcarp paste but laced with spices and lemongrass.
I really enjoyed it because it was boneless and it was deliciously complimented by the eggs.

Pandan Mille crepe:
The mille crepe was as good as expected, each layer was filled with fluffy cream with a fragrant pandan flavour.

Earl Grey Mille Crepe:
The EG mille crepe was rather disappointing because I couldn’t really taste the EG and it just tasted like HK Milk Tea with that horrible bitterness.
Finished with raspberry orange tea which was rather artificial in aroma

Shaz Confections(specifically Sai Ying Pun Branch)has been my most favourite, go-to place since I first went there in 2018! I live in new territories yet I have no problem travelling more than an hour just to be there. And even now, if anyone ask for recommendations, it continues to be the first one that comes to mind!
I have tried their scones, light breakfast, avocado and scrambled egg toast, omelette with cherry tomatoes…you name it! & all are a delight!
I love many thing about them;
1) unlimited, constant refilling of water(with mint and lemon)—very refreshing and hydration is important!
2) variety of coffee to choose from(i love my coffee)
3) their scones and crepe cakes, especially the crepe cakes are unbeatable!!! We were treated with their signature Pandan coconut cake free this time 😋
4)homey feeling, friendly neighbourhood.
5) down to earth owner(love the chats and smiles of her)
6) most friendly, caring and patient staffs(whenever I am there, I feel that I am surrounded by angels) . You can see customers dropping by just for a chat too. always smiling and attending to every need. They make efforts to brighten up everything.
7) the list goes on, you all need to go!!!
Today they made my day and I would like to thank them. I & my friend went there for an early breakfast. It was to celebrate my bday, and upon my friend’s secret request, they presented the purchased black forest crepe cake with a beautiful bday wish and MY NAME! In a jiffy! WOW! Thank you Shaz Confections, I will be back soon!
工作日下午四點來訪，店內沒什麼客人，蛋糕選擇不多（估計是平日，時間又晚的緣故）。
港式奶茶千層蛋糕（58hkd)：底下是類似戚風蛋糕的口感，不像一般的千層蛋糕是crepe到底，有小小驚喜。整體而言奶油綿密輕盈，若有似無的奶茶味，不會太甜，我很喜歡，不過若是喜歡美式千層蛋糕的人可能會覺得不夠濃郁。
熱美式咖啡（30hkd)：不知道用的是什麼豆子但蠻好喝的，有淡淡的焦糖堅果味，層次豐富。
看得出來店內工作氣氛良好，員工彼此談笑風生。服務態度一般（但在香港應該算正常水平！），環境雖小但舒適。

We lived in Singapore for several years so it’s nice to have nearby access to Pandan cake in HK. Must try the scone.
Lovely little cozy cafe. Great ambience and the food is good. Very pleasant Sunday morning brunch.
Got the big breakfast, but will try the soupy looking tomato dish next time.
Mocha was tasty, not many places can do a good one.

I had ordered cake for my friend the lady was super friendly and kind. Such a humble lady it was a good start to my morning
這間喝咖啡都算平宜，但美國咖啡咖啡不夠濃水多咗一點，希望下次有改善。
Great coffee in a comfortable setting. Reasonable prices for coffee and no service charge on a coffee which is good in HK.
可以一试！但價格略微贵呢!
