A very traditional dim sum shop with quite a history. Most items are self prepared and thus certainly come with a difference with those chained rivals. Inexpensive, many choices, and very local feel. A small eatery and thus one can actually choose outside seats which is next to a road.

Exactly what I was hoping for. A very local experience – regulars just enjoying breakfast and we were there to enjoy it! Waited about 5-10 min to have a shared seat open up. we were the youngest ones there at 8 am. Ordered tea $4/pp, shrimp rice roll, steamed shrimp dumpling. steamed rice with chicken in a leaf, Malaysian cake, shu mai for $92 HkD total. Really nice people worked there.
old dim sum and “plate rice” place. the taste of a close neighbourhood and friendly service. cheap and easy-going.

雖然地方較細,只有七張小格,舊式小店,但地方尚算清潔,用心打掃,堅持手工做中式點心,材料新鮮,師傅功架夠,惟是每日供應至下午二時,值得一試及支持小辛苦經營不易,努力。。。

Love this local hole in the wall. And I kid you not, you can easily walk past this place. If it weren’t for the local senior patrons sitting by the entrance enjoying their morning tea, you’d mistake it for a large hole in a wall. The dim sum is nothing fancy, and that’s the point. For $19-25, you can piping hot, freshly made dim sum. It smells local, tastes local, feels local.
Actually pretty good dim sum. I went there late so only shao mai 燒賣left, but its actually good compared to fatty pork in other food joints. Go earlier to taste other dim sums.

Looking for old class Hong Kong dimsum, this is the most recomended place.. The owner are old generation people whom are age on 70s, with white old people shirt..
They also provide english language in their menu. Even the place is unhygiene but you could feel an old classic hongkong food stall.
Prices reasonable, Food quality is very good !

週日父親節去飲茶，一點多到，3去1 只剩少量點心，什麼大包、腸粉、糯米雞已賣完，幸好還有美味的山竹牛肉、腐皮捲、蝦餃、排骨和燒賣，四個人吃了七碟點心和什會炒河，才205元，價格實惠，抵吃！店面細，不介意搭枱，其中一人要坐在梯級上，也顧不了拍照😊 …

首次到, 二人叫了五款點心, 蝦蛟, 燒買, 牛肉, 雞紮同义(差)燒腸, 除了腸粉是20.00, 其它19.00, 共104.00, 水準覺得一般, 但腸粉真的不那麼, 粉皮硬實不滑

因看到電視節目介紹這間道地小店，朋友立即約去試！可能黃昏會掛8號風球，中午十二時到達，不算多客，但因地方很細，也只能坐在門外的枱😅！雖然有很多點心和腸粉都已賣晒，反而可以試炒粉麵，比點心更好味，下次一定試炒飯。
肉絲炒麵：配料雖少，但麵質超脆不油👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

An old & small dim sum restaurant in the neighbourhood community. Very basic & minimal interior fitting which might not be acceptable to some people. Very cheap dim sum but sadly quality was below average. At marginally higher prices, there were much better options at Kennedy Town. Nevertheless, staff were fairly polite.

環境就是街坊老店鋪的環境，食物味道不錯，蒸排骨能給5分，齋腸粉好滑，直接就有米香，臺上擺放的豉油不知道是不是加工過的，淋上腸粉那裡，吃進口裡一下就回到小的時候，燒賣好食，肉滑，不像絞肉機絞的。
Budget and neighbourhood friendly Dim sum place with great people and old school vibe
We had siu mai, haa gau, chaa siu cheung fun, ma lai go (Cantonese steamed cake), lo mai gaai and lotus paste steamed buns. All very good. Very reasonable price. Very friendly customers helped us order the best things.
This was a real throwback to old Hong Kong with very basic décor which might not be suitable to some. As with all things we’re here for the family, on premises made dim sum. They get up early to make those and stick with the basic steamed old school ones.
The har gow (shrimp dumpling) was small like in the olden days and very tasty. Everything seemed fresh and good. The regulars were relaxed doing their thing and occasionally smiling happily at us daytrippers. The staff were fine with the head guy even pointing out we’d be overcharged.
It was really interesting seeing a guy roll up right outside in his truck with his cash ready. He got served quickly and then was off again. I would recommend this place if you want to try something different. It also has English menus.

《街坊老舖賣情懷，打卡值唔值得排》
得知這家位於西營盤的老舖很早開門，決定早起避開人潮體驗一下。餐廳有數張二人枱在店外，外面是薄扶林道車不多，雖然坐外面比裏面的壓迫環境好，但還是選擇坐舖內感受歲月痕跡。
每款點心19至25蚊不等，餐牌後頁竟有中英對照！點選糯米雞(25蚊)，太乾水餡料也不多。坐近出菜位，見其他客人點的腸粉、燒賣都很乾水似的，好像放了很久，反而醬汁鳳爪(19蚊)剛剛蒸好，來了一碟，不錯，骨肉軟淋醬惹味。
吃完點心歎返啖茶，細看餐廳環境與街坊百態，枱櫈牆身舊而且污糟；而老街坊們，有的看馬經，有的打牙較，還好是店員沒有擺出不耐煩想你埋單讓位的姿態。客人當中有不少打卡的，來去匆匆；外賣客亦絡繹不絕。如果是居住附近並想吃平民點心，甚或是想慢活放空體驗一下老店及打卡，否則要有心理準備這裏的茶、食物、環境都沒甚可取，叫兩碟點心加上4蚊茶錢都已經比較坐得舒服的茶餐廳早餐貴了，老店經營到今日，相信是街坊吃情懷，後生餵相機吧？當有一日宣布結業時，仍是有人前去排隊歌頌的，懷舊潮嘛！
由西營盤鐵路站B1出口搭𨋢上地面就是第一街，經過西邊街，在薄扶林道橫過馬路就到達，5分鐘左右便到，算十分方便，但港島西區普遍路多山坡，餐廳都是在斜坡中的。

Convenient location, sai ying pun b2 exit then walk 3 mins and u will find the place. Typical local hong kong dim sum place. Loved the feel of this place. Nothing pretentious, very basic, sit in stools and share tables.
The dim sum is really cheap majority is around hkd 20. The food arrive reasonably fast. Some taste yum, some it’s just ok.
The service: some is good and very polite. Others there is room for improvement.
Overall a great experience.
