Unfriendly service where I have no idea where their arrogance comes from.
Had a brunch at three. Unfriendly service where I have no idea where their arrogant came from. Fixed brunch menu that is serving excessive ham and cheese, this really hurts as these food arent liked by all.. or cant have much due to body condition.. also compulsory wine which cannot be optioned out, do they assume there’s no one driving at 3pm? Overall a lack of choice and seriously unthoughtful management for customers. It won’t be getting away from that alleyway in short.
Happy to learn that there is such a restaurant with quality at neighbourhoods

I am usually low-carb and and dairy-free. But iLuAle is where I make exceptions because their food is SO good and authentic! The atmosphere is unpretentious and I really enjoy going there with friends. So far everyone has loved it!
The restaurant was the major contributor to a very very good night out. Everybody was surprised by the whole experience. I was the first to arrive right at 6pm, I ordered a drink and has the leisure to listen to their background music which was also good. Authentic Italian home style food with just the right amount of plating to make you feel you are dinning out but not so fancy that it takes the soul out of traditional Italian food(I dislike fancy plating in some of the Italian restaurants in HK) The cooking was solid and one can’t say anything negative about it. Our table was booked between 6-8pm so we didn’t have time for the coffee and deserts. I will definitely go back again but this time will ask for the 8-11pm slot to have more time to try the deserts as well as the music. It is worth seeing it for yourself.
i cannot agree these are the dishes i love. a causal italian dining place, worth the value given such good quality of foods!
Excellent meal. Sharing plates for appetizers at lunch which includes cold cuts and a burrata to die for. I would go again.

I have been searching far and wide for an Italian restaurant in Hong Kong whose food would take me back to my summer in Italy. Lucale was the place to do it.
The food was modern but without missing the feel of a homestyle and wholesome Italian meal. Lots of layers of flavours, good wine and friendly staff. This will be my go to for an impeccable Italian meal.
Kind of regret that I had never been there before.
Tuna avocado was superb with the tuna very well marinated. Prices are reasonable and wine selection is good, with many of the 1,000hkd range. I liked Sicilia Pino.
這間餐廳的服務和食物都超岀了我的想像，食物的質素很好而且新鮮，餐廳的員工服務體貼，令我有良好的體驗。
令我印象深刻的是Pala Di Salumi，有很多種類！！而且全部ham都是落order才切的！適合喜愛吃ham的人去嘗試！！
而甜品亦不會令我失望，Tiramisu果然是Lucale的signature！Tiramisu放在枱上散發着濃濃剛燒好的 chocolate crisp味道，而且 cream很滑，很吸引！
推薦大家去這間餐廳體驗一下～
A prosseco lunch on a weekday — it’s very close to heaven. The brunch food is not spectacular, but decent, especially when paired with the free-flow prosseco/white wine/red wine. The burrata alone is super filling — and it’s unlimited! Will definitely need to come back for their famous à la carte menu.
My eyes and my belly couldn’t be more happy…thanks Lucale for the amazing dinner! Dishes are not only tasty but also good to the eyes and the service is just perfect. With no doubt, my favorite Italian restaurant in town!
Really cool small space. Love the food, vibe, location, people and atmosphere. Food was great and it was so tasty! Trust me you can’t go wrong in this place. Make a booking as it gets really full.
Oh my word, if you want a taste sensation book here! I am mad about truffles and their new truffle flavored dishes are simply scrumptious. The staff are super friendly, fun and totally have a passion for food. Ingredients are super fresh and inspiring

Good vibe, warm service and excellent Italian food. The tiramisu was out of this world! 🤣❤️ Big kudo to the Nordaq water filtering system. One of the best tasting and most environmental friendly sparkling water I’ve ever tried in a restaurant. 👍

Fantastic! I would definitely go again. Located in a cute alley off of Third St, it creates a classy but relaxed atmosphere. Upbeat music makes a great place for birthdays and dates. The food was exceptional authentic Italian. I particularly enjoyed the lamb and the pumpkin raviolis.
We enjoyed the Great foods and wine so much. Staffs are super friendly. Great environment.
Will definitely come again

For the price level and the nature of a casual bistro for a friends gathering, strict 90 mins restriction is absurd. On a Friday night, we were seated at 7pm and whole group arrived by 7:30. Waiter gave us bill at 8:20pm and asked us to leave.
Food I would say ok at best. As a group we ordered almost every single pasta on the menu, and couldn’t judge if any of it was particularly outstanding. I didn’t like the Tiramisu as well. Too much creamy content yet almost no coffee-soaked ladyfingers so not balanced at all. May be innovative but definitely not authentic.
Absolutely delicious food, and highly recommended!
Little hidden gem in Sai Ying Pun, featured one of the best pasta dishes I’ve ever tasted (ravioli), as well as some very fresh burrata and tuna tartare.
The black cod dish was fairly decent but not quite up to the level of the other dishes.
The tiramisu was stunning, and very creative. Well worth having (especially for someone who doesn’t generally like tiramisu, such as myself)!
進店之前就很興奮，因為有藏身之處的感覺😆 店內裝潢和氛圍完全是意大利式的，服務和廚師都很好，食物也很棒！在香港體驗真正的意大利真是太棒了。

If you look Asian you would get segregated and the servers would just give you an annoyed face all the time. If you look Caucasian then maybe you are fine.
The owner/manager refused to apologize.
Go back to Italy if you don’t wanna serve Asians.

Little hidden gem in the area which serves exceptional Italian food. Their freshly made pasta are some of the best in town.
This was a surprise find, didn’t expect such high standard of Italian cooking hidden in a small alley. Many dishes were innovative while all tasted good to very good, in fact better than many high end Italian restaurants. Only drawback is its popularity, mandating 2 seatings in the evening, so you can only book either too early or too late.
The steak was so so good! Excellent service!

By far the best Italian restaurant in HK. Enjoy the burrata and Parma ham as a starter, this is exquisite products and large portion. Then choose from the great pasta or main courses they propose, all are very good. It can seem expensive the first time, but you understand the price while eating the first bits. Wine is also perfectly selected. Staff is adorable. No negative thing to say!
Good italian food and ambience. Food is about perfect.
Had beetroot salad and pappardelle. Beetroot salad was overpriced (nothing special). Pappardelle was good. But I was not impressed by their service. They also charged $28 “per person” for filtered water, which I think is ridiculous.

Generous brunch spread with freshly made pastas. On the basement/ground level so lighting is a bit dim even during the day. Good service with helpful staff. Vegetarian options available
Some great food/wine served there, excellent brunch on an “Italian environment” 😉

LucAle was a real treat. I’m still dreaming about the food!. LucAle is all you wish for when it comes to Italian cuisine. It’s fresh, it’s tasty and each bite makes you travel to Italy. Each dish is presented with care and finesse, bringing vibrancy on your plate. Your senses will be awaken just by looking at the food and you will not be disappointed when you get to taste it.
Our group of 6 decided to share the food so we could taste more dishes. Highly recommended. There are simply too many dishes we wanted to try. 🙂 Already looking forward to our next visit to LucAle!
