Service nice but super slow. Ordered eggs royale and they came after 45 mins of waiting and cold. Absolutley overpriced for the food they have. Not recommended
Good food, reasonable price, nice happy hour and good ambience. The staff are really great too!

Fantastic Avocado toast with fresh salad. The sprinkle of chives atop the eggs made me too excited to dive in before I took a photo!
Pretty disappointed in brunch. I’ve had dinner here a few times a time ago, and it was really good. This time for brunch was not. Everything was pre-made. Nothing was hot. Our order came out way to fast to be made fresh. The coffee was made with bad tasting UHT milk. Sad. Sorry metropolitan. Won’t be back.

Relaxing and reasonably priced Parisian bistro in SYP with a varied drinks and food menu. The service is efficient and friendly and the food well prepared and presented from fresh ingredients. We’ve been back three times and have yet to find fault. Definitely worth a try.
Lovely very authentic Chinese dining experience.
Have not tried the stewed BUG’S BUNNY yet but the drinks at HAPPY HOUR (3-8 PM) has some of the best prices…HKD 30 for a chalice of Stella Artois, HKD 35 for a very French Ricard, HKD 175 for a whole bottle of house prosecco, white (French Chardonnay) or red wine…

Metropolitan used to be a high quality French restaurant. Today it has fallen back to a standard which is to be expected from a restaurant chain. We had to wait 30 minutes for our very simple starters, which did not need any preparation (oysters and foie gras pate – which are both ready and are both served cold). Then we had to wait another 45 minutes for our simple mains (fish and steak tartare). By that time I was so fed up with this place that I left it without paying for my main.
If you want to waste an evening I can recommend Metropolitain, if you want a good meal, please don’t go.
Stopped by for brunch with a friend. The salmon waffle was a bit dry but staff was friendly to provide more crème fraiche
The pasta is really good – however – the chicken is raw – even they replaced it with other chicken – the second one is still raw – it will be lucky if you don’t get food poisoning at this restaurant
Standard of the customer service is much lower under the new manager.
Serving authentic French, great service, good wines, what else can you ask for? Wish they stock up enough mussels, foie gras beef tenderloin etc.. so frustrating to be told food is sold out..

Have been ordering their steaks for over a year (with which I am totally in love) before actually visiting the place – and what a mistake it was not to go sooner. Chill and cordial waiters, good food and really good atmosphere.

Menu didn’t look much, but was pleasantly surprised. Great food and not too rich which is nice for a french.
Metropolitain is always my favorite french bistro in HK! Food is awesome, great service, affordable as well!

Casual Parisian style bistro on High Street in Sai Ying Pun. Nice service, fairly typical French menu with some continental items as well. Open from lunch onward during the week but earlier on weekends for breakfast. Food quality is pretty good, coffees are better than average. Environs relaxing.

Great foods, good services and nice atmosphere. Had lunch with friend here, overall all was great, except when my food came with no side dish which supposed to have, after I check w/ the waitress, she then check with the kitchen staff and came with salad instead of the toasted cabbage which she said it already run out, that is why they served with no side dish at the beginning without even asking if I am ok with it?!. Another thing is I was charged with the food that I’ve been told run out and cancelled. Fortunately I double check my Bill’s before signed it. Except from this, all was good!

環境還可以，冷鵝肝還可以，但是羊排和牛肉確實做的一般。可能豬扒和塔塔牛肉會好一點？
The food is really nicely done (especially if you like good bread) and it’s a convenient location.
I always enjoy the steak tartare there and the lemon tea is freshly made.

Celebrated a friends birthday here. The service and level of attention was amazing. The food was also fantastic. I would definitely recommend anyone to go here. One of the best restaurant experiences I’ve ever had
