上次去過La creperie，對他們的印象相當好，知道最近他們在西環開了姊妹店，繼續大力支持新店！

炸銀魚第一次吃，原來口感幾有趣，外皮脆口再配搭軟綿的魚肉內心。

Octopus Carpaccio (+$28) – 推薦*
Thin slices of cooked octopus with lime and cucumber
洋蔥味道很神奇，一入口不覺得辣，出奇地有甜味，口感像塊蘋果片；後期辣勁才慢慢滲出。
八爪魚薄切墊底，混合了青檸汁和橄欖油，還有粒粒青瓜清新味蕾。

Galette L’Avocat
Avocado, cherry tomatoes, red onion, coriander, egg,
pumpkin and sunflower seed, yogurt sauce
法式聞名的家常咸點；端上桌時已經傳出陣陣蛋香和芝士味。
芝士麵皮中間還包入一層薄薄的蛋白層，中央的蛋黃味道濃郁。
牛油果、小蕃茄、紫洋蔥、生菜、葵花籽，是一道適合素食者的精緻美食。

Mushroom Bourguignon with Breised beef cheek – 推薦*
法式紅酒燉牛肉，整碗都有濃郁香菇味，菇片都很滑溜。
薯蓉亦打到十分細滑，沒有顆粒，還嚐到好香牛油味，超讚的！
牛面頰肉很軟腍，有點骨膠原的黏黏口感。
醬汁有陣陣酒味，亦滲入蘑菇味，再帶點點酸味。

Crêpe La Gourmande – 推薦*
Tiramisu ice cream, Nutella, strawberry, banana
吃完咸薄餅，再點個甜薄餅今餐才完滿。
Tiramisu口味的雪糕，咖啡酒味出眾。
餅上塗上Nutella醬，榛子味極重，飯皮又脆又軟。

Lemon Tart – 檸檬塔正常發揮，酸酸甜甜。

體會：法國菜好著重調味，每道菜落足心機，擺盤精緻而且味道講究，經過調味後菜式可以有幾個層次，亦能將最核心的味道帶出，看來要多多研究法國菜呢。

環境非常之舒適， 食物特別及好食， 餐廳裏有紅酒 選購 及可即時飲用， 最喜歡食這裏的甜品 ，不太甜及較特別。

Prices do not reflect the quality of the meals. The prawn soup did not have much taste other than salty, with the occasional vegetables mixed in. The smoked salmon dish on the lunch menu is wrapped in a crepe not very much salmon in there. I had ordered a pineapple ginger ale however it seemed to have strawberry flavoring and garnished with a strawberry, the majority of the drink was ice, which was dissatisfying. Finally the dessert, it was the good end to a mediocre meal, the coffee creme brulee was indeed just that.

Food was similar to the other La Creperie but the service was ridiculously bad. When we got there, the manager (I think) turned us away because they were fully booked and we didn’t have a booking. I looked at the screen and saw they have bookings at 7:30pm (which was an hour and a half later) and I said we could leave before then and then he OK (he could have offered right?) After we sat down we ordered and no food/wine came for 25 minutes. We asked another guy and the wine finally came. Then we asked another woman and she replied “you ordered food?” (It definitely sounded like a question). Finally we asked the initial guy again and he said something was “stuck” and the order was in now aka he probably didn’t put in the order coz we had to ask for the wine just now. After the meal we asked for the bill. The manager guy said OK. We wised up this time and asked again 5 min later (we saw him chitchatting with other staff and not getting the bill) then he went to get the bill. Not sure what’s going on with this guy but he was all over the place.

Went few times for lunch. Food quality keeping good.
I think they are the very few authentic French restaurant in town. Even better than hotel grade.
My French friend told the French chef there their fish soup is real French taste 👍

🇫🇷法式海鮮盛宴

港島西營盤隨著港鐵通車，越來越多高質素餐廳進駐！如果鍾意食海鮮、法國菜，咁就要一試Bistro Breton。餐廳由法國主㕑主理， 海鮮新鮮來自法國Brittany北部海域，食材高質有保證。餐廳經理用心介紹菜單，皆因傳統菜名用上法文，所以經理希望我哋了解多啲先點選喜愛的食物。

🌟必點海鮮拼盤La Boudeuse
🦪6 extra fresh oyster from France
🦐6 tiger Prawns
🐚6 welks + 6 clams

法國生蠔鮮甜美味，海水味夾雜礦物的味道，加少少檸檬汁或香醋，突顯甜味，食落清爽回甘。大虎蝦肉質結實有彈性，非常新鮮。Welks同Clams同樣鮮甜，加少少自家製芥末醬，更creamy鮮味。

🐌傳統法式蒜蓉牛油焗蝸牛Escargots de Bourgogne (Burgundy snails with garlic butter)
上一次食Escargots係Paris，好開心可以再品嚐到傳統滋味。蒜蓉牛油非常香口，蝸牛食落肉質tender，有少少woody，非常入味。

🐟法式經典香煎龍脷魚French Sole Meunière (Pam seared french diver sole served with baby tomatoes)
去皮後啖啖肉，龍脷魚肉質香滑，香煎後外脆肉軟綿。一定要點埋牛油汁，廚師要好好控制火力，將牛油煮成淺棕色，清澈醬汁帶有淡淡甜味，完全沒有肥膩感，加上檸檬汁及parsley，一試愛上。

🍫 朱古力心太軟 Lava cake (home made)
Home made果然不同凡響，外層非常鬆軟，流心朱古力香濃唔會太甜，仲有雲呢拿雪糕同鮮忌廉，夾埋食仲滿足。

🍹French apple juice, Bristo Breton lemonade
揸左車，所以無點酒精飲品。一試推介法國新鮮蘋果汁，用冷壓技術份外清甜。另外lemonade酸甜清新又醒神，帶有少少薄荷味。

We had an amazing time at Bistro Breton. Food was authentic and delicious. Oysters were very fresh. Price is very reasonable for the quality you get which is a rare thing in HK. Will be coming back for sure!

Fantastic greeting and welcome from the staff, the ambience lead you to Brittany in France 🇫🇷.. the portions are well sized the the taste of the food are mouth watering 🤤so you want to try the next dish on the menu… prices are reasonable.
If you miss it is your own fault 😉

An interesting Brittany-food-focused French restaurant with nice ambience and interior. I was told by the owner Philip that it’s established since Feb. 2022. The owner and one do the managers, William were friendly, open, smiley and nice. The seafood platter, the steak and others were good generally. Will explore again when it’s the mussels season.

During restaurant week, we enjoyed the lunch special at Bistro Breton. With views toward Des Vouex Road, the window seat table that we were given was wonderful.

We both chose the Brittany Fish Soup as our appetizer, which was delicious and had a homemade flavor. I chose the seabass with orange sauce as my main course. The sauce was delicious and refreshing. She choose the Beef Burgundy, which was equally delicious. The portions are pretty generous, just enough to savor but not too much.

We each had a crepe for dessert, which was served in a generous portion and had excellent flavor.

The restaurant is nice, and the service is likewise. neither too pushy nor too loose. The atmosphere is welcoming and laid-back generally. will undoubtedly return.
