I stumbled across this place coming home one night, and got a half chicken for lunch the next day. I’m super happy I did, as now I get a whole chicken every week, which keeps me satisfied for all of my lunches during the work week! I haven’t tried any of the other delicious looking treats here, but I can say that it’s an amazingly good roast chicken that literally keeps me coming back for more.
There isn’t really any seating, so don’t plan to dine in here, but it’s great take away. If it’s just one or 2 people there is a little table you could sit at to nosh if it’s open I suppose. $150 for a whole chicken, imported from france, they quarter it and give you the backbone so you can make some great stock after as well. Also sold in 1/2s and quarters I believe.
I’ve only tried the Sai Ying Pun location, but I can’t recommend it enough, and I’ll be sad if I ever have to move away from this delightful little rotisserie!

I work very close to La Rotisserie Sheung Wan and my colleagues and I have been buying our lunch from the shop on a regular basis for about a year. As a vegetarian you could be excused for wondering why I would repeatedly buy lunch from a roast chicken vendor. Well, not only is the chicken amazing (I ate it enthusiastically before becoming vegetarian), but the side dishes are also fantastic. The daily soup is always fresh, delicious and animal-product free; simmering in a casserole dish on the stove (not, as with the shop next door) poured from a Tupperware container and microwaved. There are always fresh steamed vegetables and beautifully roasted potatoes, and today I had a bowl of Puy lentils and pumpkin: hot, perfectly seasoned and delicious. Prices are really good (two large bowls of the home-made soup and lentils came to $47) and the service and atmosphere is upbeat, warm and happy. These guys have really got it just right, and they deserve all the success they get. Wonderful little lunch spot: Vive La France!

Tasty side dishes although overall selection is somewhat limited. There are a variety pies and cakes on offer at reasonable prices too. Great for takeout or casual lunch/dinner.

Good value set lunch offered during weekdays from noon to 2:30pm. For HK$75, you get 1/4 of chicken, 1 side dish and either soup or iced tea. I always go with the home made soup.

La Rotisserie started off in Sheungwan and they have been so successful hence all these branches.
This branch opened in 2013 and the chicken is consistently good which is why I keep coming back.
No one does a proper good roast chicken and potatoes like La Rotisserie.

The paper bags they use for take away are not designed to hold chicken with the sauce. The paper bag, inevitably broke on my way home spilling all over my wife and the car. No thought has been put to the customer experience, not recommended.

Five stars for La Rotisserie, our HK salvation. Moving to the land of Glorious carbs, we quickly realized that we missed being able to get a nice protein and vegetable focused dinner La Rotisserie delivers on that promise every time. We go at least once a week for dinner. High on the list for anyone moving to HK.

I paid $228 for a small chicken
Chicken breast is drier than Egyptian sand
It’s not seasoned at all, taste is like a hospital meal after surgery. I guess salt is too expensive to season
I don’t understand how this restaurant has 4.7 points in Deliveryoo
Chicken oil served with chicken tastes like old oil. It’s an old oil flavor that doesn’t have any any any chicken jus mixed in
While I’m writing this after eating, my stomach and head are even uncomfortable
