The interior of the restaurant is really nice and exquisitely crafted. There is even a small shopping area inside the restaurant where you can buy those spicing for you to cook at home. The portion of each dish is a bit too big for me, as we cannot finish a single steak at that time. There are a wide range of sauce and protein to choose from, and the staff are really helpful, though most of them can only speak English.
The mussels tested like mud. The fries were old not fresh. The steak and egg was dry and cold. Coffee is drinkable.

本來應該先拍個照再吃的,結果肚子太餓了,先咬了一口,想想多遺憾。今天是在香港的第四天。上太平山看夜景,被風雨淋得渾身發抖,肚子餓了,就想找點吃的,找點別的。訂購過程有點奇怪。所有的普通桌子都被預訂了,所以我想知道吧台是否可以……我坐下來說不愛……他給我拿來了一份訂購手冊。首先,你要決定是自己選肉還是按照推薦吃,但我決定自己選,所以我去了肉展,選擇了看起來很好吃的豆腐。我選擇了穀物餵養的肋眼和和牛肋眼,然後將其烘烤至中等。

It’s quite a unique experience to pick your meat right from the butcher and have the restaurant immediately cook it for you. We had tenderloin and sirloin steak. The veggies were also very fresh. it was an enjoyable experience overall.
Great service, very comfortable seating. Eggs benedict were very good, scramble eggs as well. I was expecting a bit more on the flat white, which was ok.
Good food but long waiting time. People next to us cant stand and left…

It was great place! My husband and I really liked this place, but each time it gets worse and worse, the menu changes and with it the quality of products and service! the avocado toast was moldy and the waitress pretended not to see her, we asked Benedict with salmon eggs, brought us bacon and asked to order differently because she did not hear🤔they brought coffee after the meal….sooo…the mood was spoiled! we did’t pay for avocado toast and coffee was given to us in order, but …so sad😕
Nice place, good meat. Breakfast used to have great selection of dishes but sadly no longer, pretty standard stuff now. Coffee is soso.
Interesting place, full of Australian stuff, (included Tasmanian sparkling water), mainly for meat lovers.
The quality of meat is Incredible. Great wine selection. A good choice of starters and sides.

Can generally be described as confusion with a smile. Everyone was extremely polite, but that didn’t equate to good service.
Great staff, very friendly and helpful. We ate brunch here which the food was great, but was really impressed with all of the customers that came in and out ordering custom steaks and had such a good relationship with the owner. Was unfortunately only in Hong Kong for the day due to a long layover, but would have loved to order some meat to take home and cook.
The butcher special is always a go to when dining in here. This store has also become my go to place to buy mat when cooking at home. They’re reasonably priced and everything seems fresh.
You choose your meat in the butcher section and tell them how you’d like it prepared. Solid dishes all around and met my expectations of a steak house.

We recently dined at the Feather & Bone on Des Voeux Road West and had a pretty good meal. This is a casual butcher shop/steak restaurant in Sai Ying Pun, a place where you can pick out your own steaks behind the counter and they will grill them up the way you like. Opening hours 7/8am to 10pm daily.
During our meal we tried a 30-day dry-aged, grain-fed steak medium rare that was pretty good. The steak was grilled well and the beef tasted just fine with nice hints of blue cheese as a result of the dry-ageing process. Served with a side of the creamy mash potato, this was a nice steak order, something not always easy to find in Hong Kong.
We also tried their lamb burger that was fantastic. The minced lamb was seasoned with a slighty spicy rub, grilled medium temperature and topped with manchego cheese, sun-dried tomato and arugula. This was an flavourful and excellently prepared burger, enjoyed every bit as much as the steak and something we are eager to return for.
Lastly, we tied their roasted pumpkin (for sharing). The pumpkin was large and roasted well, topped with feta and pomegranate, seeds and a bit of greens. This was a surprisingly delicious order, something yummy for the vegetarians in the group visiting Feather and Bone.
No room for dessert after our heavy meal unfortunately. They offer reasonably priced wine by the glass and bottle and a handful of beer selections as well.
Overall, we were quite impressed with Feather and Bone. Everything we were served was very good, worth reordering again. This is a place we’ll be trying to schedule a follow up meal sooner than later.
It’s a popular restaurant with unusual food ordering process. Walked in at around 630 Sunday night, it’s already rather booked out without many tables left. From the moment you picking the piece of steak to the moment they served it to you, the process is completely visible. With much confidence in the quality of the meat, I guess chef became less attentive in cooking. I had a piece of tenderloin for medium rare but it tasted rather dry. Also too much salt was added. It would be nice to leave it plainer so customers can adjust the flavour by ourselves. Then, I had the creamy garlic mushrooms as the side dish. The texture of the sauce wasn’t thick. Yet, mushrooms are rather fresh as they were juicy with a nice firm texture. All in all, the food is still agreeable and the dinning experience was special.
The food is great, though a little salty for my taste. That’s not their problem though, as I didn’t tell them what kind of seasoning I prefer. The service is also quite good.
Don’t expect elaborate dishes, but good food and coffee
Overpriced. Weekdays lunchtime the waiting time may get extended, if you’re not ordering a set. But food quality is high, can’t argue with that.
Last night had a wagyu sirloin, the meat was good but I just came back from Canossa now, gastroenteritis.

Lamb burger is really scrumptious, but choices are limited.
Sadly Gone down hill a bit. The “sharing” meat balls had two meatballs and the egg white omelette took 20 mins to come and was pretty poor.
Where you meet real meat! Dine in and shop fresh cuts options. Fresh cuts of the delicious, famously Australian originated meat. The assortment is quite short which actually helps you decide right and fast. Authentic industrial look n feel, blending nicely with the neighbourhood. (!) do not miss the lamp chops😋 …
Excellent steaks and lovely house wines. You don’t need much more but to be honest, the sides are all wonderful too and the service is attentive.

Really unique experience you can go in and choose your meat and they will cook it for you. We went there three time during our stay in HK.
We had the steak, burger and brunch. The Mac and cheese was really tasty but the burger… It’s one of the best burgers I have ever eaten freaking delicious it’s a MUST try.

Pretty good breakfast. The hollandaise has the correct texture and flavor, which is never a given.
Delicious starters and ‘share ‘ dishes: roasted pumpkin, mussels, meatballs, octopus, pate. All yummy. The meat however was so disappointing. Well grilled but the aged steak did not have much flavor and fibrous and funky texture. Lamb chop was much better. Attentive service but a bit forgetful
