Very nice staff, as to be expected. Went with my girlfriend, we had a fun time. Not too many options for vegetarians.
Good Filipino food!
Please know the karaoke is too fun. For karaoke you have to make sure to keep track of your number as the whole restaurant shares one system and tv but one doesn’t have to stand to sing. It is a hole in the wall type of feel environment but the staff is super friendly and although the food may take a long time, it’s delicious. I recommend the kare-kare with white rice.

Place is clean and similar set up as the normal restobar in HK. The owner and hosts are kind and accommodating. Tokwat baboy is the specialty food goes great with san miguel beer…
I ordered their chicken adobo main course. To call it a main dish is a farce. It wasnt just tiny, it was minuscule. They shouldn’t even be ashamed of the portion size for over HK$100, they should be embarrassed. They are lucky we can’t post pictures here, I took a photograph of the portion size next to a 1 dollar coin and it was as big as the chicken piece, of which there were only 4.
The only reason there is more than 1 star is that the flavour was very good. Now I still have to go find something substantial to eat…

This place is legit. If you’re looking for authentic filipino food coupled with world-famous filipino hospitality, Junel’s Restobar should be in your list.
Try their sisig (sizzling pork) with ice cold beer, sinigang na baboy (pork sour soup with vegetables), and their lumpiang shanghai (deep fried pork spring rolls)!

Food was good. We booked a table 5days before going to the restaurant and we were arrived there, we were suprised that the owner, Julie, did not reserve a table for us. She shouted at us and asked if we made a reservation. She shouted “WHO ARE YOU? DID YOU BOOK? CANT YOU SEE THERE ARE NAMES ON THE TABLES? JUST USE THAT TABLE!” (Pointing at a table thats good for 2, but we booked a table for 6) She was so rude. But when the white people arrived, she immediately become friendly. She entertained them very well. I think she values her White customers more than her fellow filipinos. Her staff calmed us down and told us that maybe Julie missed our reservation. We still stayed at the resto because we thought the owner will do something about our reservation. We ordered our food and still the staff and owner didnt bother to add a table, we had to remind them many times. The owner was annoyed at us trying to remind her staff that we wont fit in one table. So she shouted again “GO GET THE TABLE FROM OUTSIDE AND ADD IT HERE”. We ddnt get any apologies from her and didnt look at us. We just finished our dinner immediately and didnt stay longer for karaoke because of badly we were treated. And can i also mention that the karaoke was too Loud and the staff couldnt hear us even when we were already shouting. We were also shocked that there are no social distancing inside the restaurant. We left immediately coz we were afraid that police might discover what this restobar is doing and might fine us, the customers, as well. We also had to wait for the bill for 30minutes.
To sum it all up, food was good but the service is super bad.

It’s the best karaoke bar in Hong Kong that not a lot of people know about.
Authencitity pure. Staff, food, drinks, prices and atmosphere is unique!
Favorite hang out not, crowded and we can choose our favorite food… Owner are awesome too…
Good vibes
No real vegetarian options. The Pancit was cold and tasted like it was made the day before. The vegetarian option – just had extra steamed vegetables thrown on it. Note to the owner: please experiment with vegetarian dishes using omni pork, Tindle chicken or Impossible mince or any of the other options to create proper vegetarian dishes.

The kare kare (oxtail) was on point! And the Crispy Pata was awesome! Honestly, just a great spot if you are craving Filipino food. It’s a simple place but also very vibrant since there is karaoke, as a proper Filipino establishment should! Come on a weekend or Friday night and this place turns up! Had a wonderful night eating and then drinking and singing the night away with friends and total strangers.
This is the worst Tokwa’t Baboy and Sisig that I have tried in my life. I ordered food delivery from your restaurant via FoodPanda.
The tokwat baboy got few pieces of tokwa and the rest is small pieces of fatty chicharon (durog durog n chicharon). Where’s the baboy? This dish is supposed to come with deep friend kawali.
And the sisig is the same thing, it’s all chicharon! I don’t see any pork meat (tenga at maskara ng baboy). It taste disgusting!
I’ve been to your restaurant few times and this is not the kind of food that you serve! What you’ve sent me is very bad! Im very disappointed! Never again!
Great karaoke spot. Always end up having a great time with friends here. Food isn’t amazing, but it’s enough to power you through the a night of singing and alcohol.
