3.5星，煲仔飯（晚上才有）兩人一煲就可以了 鱔魚有緊實 滑雞最驚艷真的好滑 臘腸還行 飯焦是不錯但我沒很愛 加的醬油其實不會鹹可以加超多不然沒味道 九肚魚好吃外酥內嫩配蒜酥很香

Food was superb, well worth the wait. Service was just ok and seems like they want you to always hurry up and order, then eat so they can process the line outside. So you eat under pressure in a way with all these people staring in, wanting your seat.

勝瓜味道和口感吃起來還不錯
如果蒜茸可以更多 就更加分
價位來說 是偏高的
但食物也是美味的

Best clay pot rice in Hong Kong! Perfectly golden brown crisp-bottom rice bowls.
First, the waitress was very rude.
2nd, the food is not that fantastic anyway. The clams comes with a free stone. The claypot rice is just so so, super oily. Only the chicken tastes good.
Lastly, if you want to try, be prepared to wait coz the space is limited. About 12 tables only.

Good Food, but Poor Service at a Local Eatery
I recently visited a local eatery and had mixed feelings about my experience. I arrived at 5:40 PM and waited in the queue for over an hour before being seated at 7:00 PM. Despite the long wait, I decided to try their signature dish, the single Eel Unagi & Chicken Rice, and was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it. The dish was well-seasoned with their special bean sauce, and the chicken was cooked to perfection. However, the portion size was a bit small for the price.
Unfortunately, my experience was marred by the poor attitude of an older female worker. Perhaps due to the fast-paced and understaffed environment, she seemed panicked and rushed. Additionally, as soon as we finished our meal, she kept staring at us, as if urging us to leave. This made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome.
Overall, I enjoyed the food at this eatery but was disappointed by the poor service. Despite the long wait, I would consider returning solely for the delicious dish. However, I hope that the management will improve their service and hire more staff to create a more comfortable dining experience for their customers.
口味不错，服务欠佳的小吃店
我最近去了一家小吃店，对这次的体验感到有些复杂。我在下午5:40开始排队，等了一个多小时，最终在晚上7:00才入座。尽管等待时间很长，我还是点了他们的招牌菜，也就是一份单人份的鳗鱼鸡肉饭。我很惊喜地发现这道菜的味道很不错，豆豉酱调味得很好，鸡肉也煮得很嫩。只是份量有点小，相对来说有点贵。
然而，我的体验却因为一位态度很差的老女工作人员而受到影响。也许是因为工作环境快节奏，人手不够的缘故，她显得很慌张和匆忙。此外，当我们吃完饭后，她一直盯着我们，好像在催促我们走。这让我们感到不舒服和不受欢迎。
总体而言，我觉得这家小吃店的菜品口味不错，但服务欠佳。尽管等待时间很长，我可能还会因为这道美味的菜品再次光顾此处。但我希望管理层能够改善服务，并雇用更多的员工，为顾客营造一个更加舒适的用餐环境。

We waited in line for almost an hour, and I have to say it was definitely worth it. The claypot rice is incredibly delicious! Unfortunately, when we tried to order more, the waiter informed us that they couldn’t accommodate our request due to a long queue of customers. They were concerned about the capacity to fulfill additional orders. If I have the chance to visit Hong Kong again, I will definitely revisit this restaurant. The food is excellent, with a delightful aroma of salted fish, and the vegetables are wonderfully crisp.

Throughly enjoyed my meal. Had clay pot black bean pork ribs w/ Chinese sausage, clams, sweet n sour pork and mixed veggie (Siu Chow Wong).
A busy eatery that’s famous for clay pot rice and some local dishes. It’s always packed or lined up with people from 6pm onwards everyday.

最出名當然就是他們現場即叫即做的「煲仔飯」
材料選擇有牛肉、雞肉、豬肉餅、臘腸、臘味、鹹魚、白鱔等等。除了煲仔飯之外，他們其實也做很多的小菜，例如出名的貴妃雞、羊腩煲、椒鹽鮮油、黑椒牛仔骨等。每張枱都點很多。我下次要來試多一些不同的煲仔飯味道喔。
座位擠了點，飯菜不錯食

位子很擠很小也有點熱。
晚上八點多到約排了40分鐘，一入座有茶水可以洗自己要用的餐具，餐具原本真的很髒⋯上面還卡了菜渣⋯衛生的部分真的有待加強
點了白鱔滑雞飯和椒鹽鮮魷，煲仔飯很香不過可能本身不太愛鍋巴所以吃到最後就不太愛～椒鹽鮮魷一開始吃覺得還不錯，但真的很鹹吃到最後也是有點膩

The restaurant was still very busy when we arrived at around 8:15pm on a Thursday nite. We waited approx 15 mins before got seated.
We had a round table with another party of 2. The restaurant was really small and crowded.
We ordered their popular eel clay pot rice, beef with raw egg clay pot rice, deep fried spicy calamari and stir fried shrimp paste chive.
Calamari and stir fried chive were amazing.
Eel clay pot rice was tasty and eel was fresh. However we found that the rice was a bit too moist and would prefer it to be cooked drier and firmer.
Beef clay pot rice was so so.
Overall service was ok but really didn’t expect more as it was typical for that type of restaurant.
Will go back for sure for the eel clay pot rice.

非常好味！
煲仔飯不合胃口價格高，雖然沒排到隊但是上菜時間也是很久，且不知為何別桌兩份煲仔飯有兩碗醬汁，我們點了兩份只有一碗醬汁，總之不太推薦，勉強把料吃完😮💨（但炒青菜蠻好吃的)

I think the claypot rice was really good. I ordered Chicken Claypot rice with additional preserved pork sausage (lapchiong). The crust was just nice, they cook the rice from scratch I can tell. The sauce was good, just the right balance of salty with a bit of sweetness. The chicken was the star, so soft & strong chicken flavour. I don’t know why, but chicken here is very flavorful of chicken 🐔.
When you queue, make sure you tell the lady how many pax you are. And don’t be surprised that they will sit you with other people. The place is small so need to pack the tables.
I came at about 18.30, waited in line for about 15 minutes. The lady already took my order & by the time I sat down, I waited for another 20 minutes for my food to be served. Claypot rice take a long time to cook. The later it is, the longer the queue. Come early.
I’m rather confused by Hong Kong food rating in Google. I’m surprised that places with good food are actually rated quite low. I mean, a lot of traditional places like this one are usually staffed by older people, and most of them may not speak English, so there may be a language barrier for tourist; and the place is usually very crowded, so they just wanted to do their work fast h efficiently, I guess. 99% of the time, after you pass the language barrier, they are actually very nice.

I have found a restaurant and worth visiting very time I come to HongKong! Came at 5+ and people already start queuing. Dishes all tasted great and especially the Eel+Rib Claypot recommended by the old local lady queued in front of us!

Such a comforting HK Meal! Their claypot rice was soooo good, and their other dishes were top-notch! We tried 2 items:
⭐️Clams in Black Bean Sauce: OMG SO GOOD! Their clams were super fresh & the black bean sauce was 👌🏻 UMAMI in every bite!
⭐️ Pork & Egg Claypot Rice (with an additional preserved sausage): the rice was AMAZINGLY SCORCHED!! And the pork was nicely seasoned!
Saw other guests ordering Deep Fried Oyster with Salt Pepper & Sweet Sour Pork that looked soooo good! Would definitely come back to try other dishes! Overall, would definitely recommend this place, and come earlier if you don’t want to queue.

We ordered:
窝蛋牛肉饭 Beef Claypot Rice with Poached Egg
This dish came the last, but we could see why. The beef was well cooked and tender, and the raw egg opened in the middle cooked perfectly to the hot temperature of the food. We added extra Chinese sausage, and it’s the best Chinese sausage we’ve ever eaten. We could taste the wine used in marination, and that the Chinese spices for preparation.
油鸭排骨饭 Duck and Pork Ribs Claypot Rice
The duck was a bit too seasoned for my taste, but it definitely was great. Pork Ribs were generous and tender too. I love the charred and crispy bits of rice stuck to the sides of the claypot, and we added their special sauce meant to be drizzled over the claypot rice. This is definitely traditional food that I love, with the usual wait for fresh claypot rice and the occasional rushed rude service.

3個空位，但店老闆沒有叫坐。有一對夫婦試圖詢問是否已經進去，結果被店主叫回去等他們。就像等待先來的一大群人先到大桌子上一樣所以我不得不再等一個小時。煲仔飯的漫長等待先把羽衣甘藍炒魷魚坐下來吃。味道不錯煲仔飯還可以。但可能不會再回去了，等不及排隊了

If you have many hours to spend on one meal, you could try this tiny restaurant. Their famous claypot cooked rice is above average, I felt. On a Friday evening, I waited in line for 45 minutes before I was allowed to enter sharing with two other patrons at a small table. Making an order didn’t take me long cus I’ve plenty of time to make up of my mind before sitting down at the table. It took 66 minutes to get my order to the table. Yes, 66 mintues! I asked a waitress once, why was it taking so long. She answered justifiedly, “There are others not getting theirs either.” So, I zipped my lips. It doesn’t matter if the dish is delicious or not, I lost my appetite after 45 minutes wait. I waited another 25 impatiently. I was happy to get out of the crowded place another 10 minutes later.
So, don’t ask me if I’ve enjoyed my meal.
