Would agree this is one of better claypot rice in HK. Come before 6 pm to get a seat immediately. Otherwise got to wait for 1 turn ( about an hour ). Come for the food and ignore rude and loud staff. 1 pot is good for 1.5 pax. Try the fish head soup. No msg and unique fish bone taste. Note HK style claypot is that they put the ingredients on top of cooked rice, wait a while and serve. So rice does not have the ingredients flavour. If you want the rice flavourful, ask to keep the lid on.

Get ready for a long queue, esp on weekend nights. But it was quite worth it, side dishes are legit and of course the clay pot rice is sensational!

MUST GO EARLY! Or risk waiting over an hour for a seat. The different claypot rice were fantastic, some of the best you’ll have in HK. It’s best to go with friends so that you can order different claypot rice to share and also share the absolutely delicious pork bone soup. It’s a must to order imo and it’s also a good dish to start the meal with while you wait for the claypot rice to be served. Will definitely go back again soon!

I waited two hours for the clay pot rice. I came around 6:30PM and waited until around 8:30PM. The clay pot rice also took around 20mins to cook, which is as expected. Also, the clay pot rice is only available for dinner.
I ordered the 腊味排骨煲仔饭. Which is preserved sausage and meat with spareribs. It was so good. The bottom is crispy and tasted so good. You can determine how crispy you want your rice. I waited probably 5-10mins before stirring the bottom of the rice up and it was a nice golden color. You can always check by stirring up a little bit of the bottom of the rice first before commiting to mixing up all the rice. The flavour was also perfect.
Water spinach was great, and you get a lot of it. If you like water spinach, it’s a great addition to your meal.
The total bill came to 170HKD for one person.

The “best” clay pot rice in Hong Kong. Needed to wait in line for about 2-3 hours to get a table . The food is decent but doesn’t feel special for it to be called the best in Hong Kong.

Don’t go there if you are alone.
Come here around 50 mins before closing hours, after waiting for 20 mins a lady come out and told me(only me) they have no food to serve me, even though there still has 7 people waiting before me (separated in 2 groups)which she didn’t ask them to leave.
I guess one person makes them feel a waste of time and not necessary to serve?
I even asked if I can get a takeaway but she also said No.

白熊家人點了招牌的白鱔田雞 但可惜白熊本熊是不吃田雞的 沒辦法作出詳細點評🤲🏻但我還是試了他們的豉汁撈飯 十分惹味🫶🏻 因為本身已經很夠味 所以只下了兩圈豉油 建議吃到底的時候覺得不夠才再加～

另一款當然點了人氣煲仔飯臘味滑雞 臘味包括臘肉 臘腸和膶腸🫶🏻膶腸真的超好吃 雞件大概有5-6塊 斬件後要小心碎骨🦴但也是很滑嫩 吃到最後可以起到原塊飯焦非常脆口🤪

因為煲仔飯要等待大概20分鐘但我們肚子太餓了便點了兩款小菜 兩款相比我們比較喜歡九肚魚 因為鮮魷比較有咬口 婆婆不是太咬得到🤣

看網上食評好像沒有太多人推薦的單品(???)但我們都很喜歡！湯裡以雞腳 大豬骨 蘿蔔 玉米熬成 十分鮮甜至於也有濃濃的胡椒味🔥非常適合冬天寒冷的天氣❄️豬骨是骨肉分離的狀態 一咬就斷 感覺到有超多骨膠原🤪 豬骨煲還附了一盤免費的青菜🥬建議把料吃完後才加進去才可以喝到濃濃的湯 不然菜出水後湯就會變淡一點了🫡

排隊攻略🔓：餐廳於6點開門 但大概5:50就會開始放客人進去 如果想吃到第一輪必定要5:15分前來到 因為吃煲仔飯和火鍋因為需要等所以更加延長等待時間😵💫 如果吃不到第一輪可能要7:30左右才能入座了（餐廳有放椅子在出面所以不需要擔心會很累）我們當天是5:10來到等然後5:55就入座了😆餐廳內大概有10張桌子 當然絕對不想排隊的話就過了晚飯時間在來吧🤣🤣(雖然我們吃完大概7點多看見出面有約20人在等 超誇張）

看網路評價說店員態度很差我們覺得還行 算主動和友善 但始終因為出面有超多人排隊所以吃到最後有一點催促我們的感覺🥺（也是可以接受和理解的程度啦）食物我們覺得算普通偏好吃🤣但如果要在街上乾等一個多小時就會覺得nono了🫡

Service is dependent on the server. The male server is quite friendly and good. The female server, not so much.
Atmosphere: There is nothing to shout out for. This is a small eating place. This is a place to bring your wife whom you married for many years, not a place to bring your first date.

根據許多來源的評論對這頓飯的期望很高。焗飯就像普通的干煮米飯。淋上醬油和紅豬肉飯倒多了，只覺得醬油鹹了。
推薦嘗試微鹹大蒜炸魷魚。但是墨水不會粘。如果店裡有辣椒醬就很不錯了。

5點就來排隊，5:30就已經20幾人了！
6點順利入坐，豬骨煲228（四人來喝份量剛好），骨頭很大塊，但幾乎沒肉，還有好幾隻雞爪，熬得白白的湯有濃濃胡椒味，超好喝！第一次一口氣喝這麼多湯！
15分鐘後煲仔飯也來了，臘肉嫩雞105 ，真是第一名的煲仔飯，米的濕度硬度絕妙，醬汁不死鹹，雞肉嫩嫩，不愛臘肉但來香港還是要試試看著，比預期不鹹可以接受！
店員都是親切熱心的，但最後不美麗算錢變348，被多收了15蚊，到底why??!😢只能在這裡扣一顆星了… …

We come from Singapore and their special bone broth wasn’t the best we tasted. But still not too bad. The claypot was decent. Not out of this world but the flavours were there. I got the chicken and preserved meat. We also ordered the duck claypot rice but it was a little tough. Came at 10pm and food came at 1030. They did wait for us to finish which was nice 🙂 last order for claypot rice seems to be 10pm. If I were to come again, the claypot alone would be enough.

One of the best claypot rice you can found in Hong Kong. Portion is consider huge and the flavour is nice, you can add the amount of soy sauces you prefer. Fried clams with dark sauce is flavourful with a bit of sweet and spicy, tastes really nice. If you come with groups or have extra budgets do try their pork bone soup 猪骨煲.
Average price per pax HKD 100 – 150.
Be prepared to come early and queue up as there will be quite many people, claypot rice require time to cook so be patient as well.
Do aware the staff attitude is not friendly although they improved over years, do think advance what to order. Another point to aware is their shop is tiny and they tend to put as many table as possible, so it will be crowded and sit very closely to each other. Finally eat quickly, Hong Kong rental is crazy expensive hence they try to increase the customer turn over rate.

holy mother of god, in the name of her father and of the son and of the holy spirit. my tummy alreay collapse after 1 hr long waiting. seated in 7:15pm. order in 30s. holy mother of god arrive first rice in 8:15 totally 1hr of waiting.
the chef is crazy. the kitchen logistic is totally trash. fk it waited too long. normally 15-20mins for a bowl son rice. they just not professional running a resto.
already second time of waiting black listed.

order後等半個鐘，好聲好氣問老闆娘幾時有，佢大大聲反問「你有無試過食 無就唔好問，態度臭寸😡😡最後等左45分鐘等一煲煲仔飯。
就睇下有幾好食，飯夠熱，但係飯濕既爛既‼️，無飯焦‼️，$115煲飯細細煲，白膳腍，唔新鮮，根本唔係專業做煲仔飯

Come here for the best clay pot rice in Hong Kong, as well as their famous pork bone soup. Expect super long queues. It is small and crowded, and their service is quite rude. But the good food makes up for it. You can only order the clay pot rice once, as they won’t accept another round. This is for them to turn more tables, as the clay pot rice takes 30mins to cook.

I went there by myself. Almost kicked out by there old lady. I waited for 30mins to sit down, she just roughly put it on the plastic bag let go eat at home. Yelled at me. I should’ve checked reviews before I visited. Please don’t go there.

Be prepared to queue. After ordering still have to eat for the food to be cooked. Their other food items seem to be good too as many locals were ordering them.
Free tea provided for all customers. Air-conditioning provided in the restaurant.
English menu is available if you can’t read Chinese.
You can also order takeaway, no need to queue just tell the staff and collect later while you shop around the neighborhood.
