If you are looking for a clay pot rice! Go there!
You can do clay pot rice in most places during winter, but this place cook the rice from raw to fully crispy bottom all in the pot.
Some places you go they pre- cooked the price in rice cooker first, which then lost the flavour from the fire and the indigents. But this place cook then all in the same pot… butttttt that also mean it takes a long time.
You should order the rice as soon as you sit down. It takes usually 60 mins to cook. Order the rice, then dig into the menu is my advice.
If not you will be Hangry!
Also orders the oyster pancake, it was surprisingly light… which also mean you don’t assume that will fill you up.
Soup is also one of the signature for them.
Tasty claypot rice. Poured the sauce around the claypot edge and made the rice extra crispy and caramelized.
Loved the claypot rice! The wait for it was slightly too long though. (45 minutes)
Great atmosphere, but the claypot rice with preserved duck was really not very good. Maybe we ordered the wrong dish.
今天路過此店覺得好似見過介紹,即時上網睇睇果然煲仔飯好出名所以即時入出試下。好彩今天不用排隊。點了雙腸煲仔飯,蒸白鱔,鹹魚雞粒豆腐煲及椒鹽鮮魷。煲仔飯真的唔錯好多飯焦好香脆。椒鹽鮮魷亦好香脆帶點鹹蛋味。其餘兩個都不過不失。最近可能少人出街食飯,不用排隊之餘仲可坐左好耐聊天都無比人趕。整體算中上,會再幫襯。
Excellent food… fish clay pot rice and fried prawns are must…. having said that, poor quality customer service!! owner or manager was kinda rude. Would have gone for 5SATAR if service was good.

我們只有三個人可是點了三個飯和湯
飯的部分很夠味,鍋巴非常香;湯的大骨味很棒,香醇不膩口,一碗接著一碗喝會上癮
雖然點不少,可是好吃到全部吃光光,每次來香港必吃!

坤記煲仔飯-連續幾年攞米之連嘅小菜館。認真講煲仔飯一般,反而小菜值得一讚,火氣十足
牛肉和雞蛋:大約3湯匙醬汁.. 炒飯很好吃
炸魷魚:有點咸,但值得啤酒點心

本來想食另一間煲仔飯,但太多人,所以黎左呢間。點知一排隊就等左1個鐘,以為終於有得食,點知叫左個煲仔飯等左1個鐘都未到,其實如果要等咁耐應該通知聲,真係貼錢買難受,以後一定唔會再黎,都唔建議任何人黎。只係想食一餐飯,就要人等2個幾鐘,完全係浪費時間。
Visited it at lunch on a Sat and ordered steam fish with marinated veg set lunch. Taste good despite a bit small.

Clay pot rice was very greasy but not so chewy or crispy. Mediocre quality. It’s ok to go have a taste, but not worthy of a long wait.
Got a takeaway clay pot rice with preserved meat and duck ($95) with an extra egg (+$10) and a taro and chicken pot ($95)
Waited for 40 minutes for the takeaway because they were quite busy
They did a great job with the crunchy bits of rice for the clay pot, but I’d say the dish size is a bit small compared with other places
魷魚天婦羅,pojjaipan(加雞蛋的牛肉),蒜蓉蝦因為沒有任何香料所以很好吃。
人太多了,就算有預約也要等位。

香港NO.1既煲仔飯!煲仔飯最引人入勝之處就係熱辣辣香噴噴,坤記真係食左咁多年都冇退步過!最出色係佢地既飯焦真係做到鬆脆而有米香,飯底用左三種米混合而成,即叫即整,淋埋煲仔飯豉油再come蓋焗一焗逼哂啲香味出黎,等緊果陣已經流哂口水🤤 頂層同中間既米軟糯有咬口,煲邊既飯焦脆到可以成塊起,索哂啲豉油汁又有炭火味,完全搶哂焦點~ 面頭既臘味同雞件直頭只係配菜黎,如果佢地整個白飯煲仔飯我都可以啪兩煲🤤😍😂

因時間尚早,難得不用排隊,再品嘗久違的美味煲仔飯。
I ordered the Chicken claypot rice through Deliveroo – the tender and flavourful chicken in combination with crispy and soft rice was a big winner.
The first time I came here was 10+ years ago, it gave me an excellent memory both in terms of food quality and price, but the decoration was rather traditional HK restaurant and old. I came back again 2 days ago, the deco gave a fresh look with much brighter lightings.
I ordered a pot of green vegeable which was served in about 10 minutes, it smelt so good that I ate immediately despite it was very hot.
I also ordered a white eel clay pot rice (the same item as last time), and it took about 25-30 minutes before it was served. It is reasonable because this kind of pot rice was cooked after the ordered is placed. The cap of the pot was removed once it was put on the table, and I poured the seasoned soya bean sauce at once along the inner rim of the pot and let the pot cooled down for 2 min before I started to enjoy the delicious rice and eel.
The seasoned sauce tasted a little sweet and not salty, that’s good; the white eel was fresh enough and gave out fresh taste, the texture of it is soft enough, that’s good; while the rice adhered to the inner wall of the pot was so crispy and gave out good smell similar to that of medium toasted bread, the rice further away from the inner wall was still juicy and soft, that’s good cook timing which required rich cooking experience.
After I finished the rice and the eel, I poured about 200ml of warm tea into the pot, rinsed it against the inner wall of the pot for about 2 min before eating the soaked tea rice, it was so yummmmmy that I felt with a full stomach and so satisfied with this meal. The quality was 100% persistent as last time. I hope I can go back very soon to try other pots!
NOTE: 1) if the cooking time of rice is too short, it won’t give you yummy soaked tea rice, 2) if you ordered pot rice with pork, chicken or other dried meat, you should ask the waiter or waitress to leave the cap of the pot, and after you poured the seasoned soya bean sauce as mentioned, put back the cap immediately and wait for about 3-5 min before eating.
