A traditional bakery shop.
買了黃糖缽仔糕跟想像中的不一樣,以為口感偏硬,但是其實是軟的,沒吃過其他家的缽仔糕,無法說很好吃,但是口味上還可以。
I like their 桂花榚丶馬蹄糕丶芝麻糕！Very old style but simply one of the best in Hong Kong.

Their fermented red beancurd flavored crackers (南乳牛耳）are irresistible, but are only available during Chinese New Year.
Happy with the mooncakes bought from this traditional bakery.
Excellent traditional Hong Kong pastries. Its water chestnut pudding (馬蹄糕) and black sesame pudding (芝麻糕), both steamed and not pan fried, are the best I have had but they sell out quick. A real treasure that stands out from the usual hip/chic/stylish bakeries in Hong Kong.

紫薯軟餅- 口感軟韌得宜,有淡淡紫薯味
芝麻糕- 很香濃又不過甜,正
白糖糕- 清清甜甜,沒有酸味,不錯

老式餅店，沒有員工制服；店員開舖後沒有洗手清潔，沒有戴上手套就用手去執拾月餅或做包裝交給買客！個别有時用膠袋包手執貨，非常不衛生！
26.01.2019: one of the best traditional pastries shop in HK, a small gem to the SYP neighborhood, they have been here for more than 20 years and kept the same style and taste ever, i am glad they didn’t have to transform to contemporary style or got kick out by landlord in exchange of chain store coz of the mtr effect..
they are selling CNY products and must try the “fried red bean dumpling” which only cooked few days before CNY once a year, it tastes so good that nobody can be copycat about it..

新年食品好好味

7 Mar 20: 第一次幫襯就要在疫情下，鋪頭有塊膠簾隔住，比錢伸手入去比，唔知係之前已經係咁定因為疫情呢？我買咗缽仔糕（黃糖、白糖），桂花糕、芝麻糕、千層糕、馬蹄糕，桂花糕唔算甜到漏，啱我，不過唔夠桂花香味。其它糕一般，缽仔糕普通唔太吸引。紅豆煎餅和煎餅都還可以，如果熱熱地應該仲好食。點都好～難得仲搵到咁舊式嘅餅店，香港買少見少！

星期六下午過來時還滿多人的耶
最後買了三款食品，其中一款是之前吃過的~
迷你砵仔糕 – 一盒有8個，都選黃糖的。
口感煙韌且不會太甜，不過紅豆就不算太多。
鳳凰卷 ($20/包) – 有超香的白芝麻味道、
口感鬆脆～再加上椰絲，自己吃光一包也沒問題呢
最後因為見到有賀年食品就買了半磅角仔！
有花生和肉鬆餡，我選了後者。
是滿滿鹹香可口的紫菜肉鬆餡，
而且外層很香脆，不會太厚身那樣子。
Total：$145
食物唔錯，只係舖頭無要求顧客排隊，人多時會有啲混亂。

蛋黃是怎樣就不說了，看相也知道如何。
豆沙月餅皮超乾，豆蓉那個皮還沒有熟!
吃完整個口腔都是鹹味，而且還有刺刺的感覺!
可能為了趕貨所以品質就這樣吧。

Their traditional Chinese cakes and snacks are excellent. Since most old bakery had discontinued, many items there are precious and difficult to find somewhere else. All old Chinese are familiar with these bakery food in the good old days. If you would like bring a little surprise to your loved elderly, it simply works.

2023年3月搬了，近正街。試吓糯米糍，$5粒，有花生及豆沙兩款，小巧精緻，花生炒得很香，偏甜。

卓越食品餅店於西環烘培中式糕点例如老婆餅、皮蛋酥、光酥餅、香蕉糕、馬仔等。我叫了他们出名的南瓜烧饼跟花生糯米糍。价钱便宜有非常好吃。赞👍。Walked along SYP and saw long queue at this small Chinese bakery shop. Decided to give it a try.
