食材新鮮，店舖非常衛生

門口日日都有人排隊，胡椒湯底香味，食落就冇，感覺好一般，唔值得排。

非好味，一定要去試！

Can choose your own beef or pork parts to go with rice or egg noodles. Preferred the flavourful beef broth over the pork broth which was a little too peppery for my liking. Lines at the door of 5-10 people deep during lunchtime.

Classic chiu chau noodles with pork mixed which is not so easy to find in Hong Kong.

Super authentic Chiu chow noodle soup. I ordered the Chiu chow king noodle with all sorts of beef and pork produce and got a fantastic portion! The soup was fresh, sweet just like what I had during childhood living in Chiu chow and Fujian area. Unlike Sichuan food or Shanghai food, this sort of Chinese cuisine is so unique and rare that you can’t find it easily in other cities outside of south part (HK, Macau, Guangdong, Fujian) of China.

I always see a line outside this place. I decided to try it out as it was almost 2pm, I hadn’t eaten anything since dinner the night before, and I hit the gym at noon. I was staaaarving. Luckily there were a few empty seats. A lady stood outside ready to take my order. I got greedy and lazy, and went straight for the ultimate $110 bowl: 潮州王. It has the best of both worlds: Pork (intestine, live, lung, heart) and beef (tripe, beef, stomach, brisket, tendon). My default noodle is hor fun, and I added an iced lemon tea for $8. Everything was served in a jiffy. Boy, did I regret it. The bowl was huge, even for me who is used to American portions. Everything was fresh and melt-in-your-mouth tender, the soup was clean and light as not to overpower the flavors of the pork and beef offal, and the noodle was soft and slippery, almost translucent. Even the lemon iced tea tasted just right — neither bland nor bitter. And the staff are friendly and welcoming. This is my new ultimate hangover meal… or any meal, for that matter.

Saturday at 10am and there was a 40
Min wait to eat. Despite the usual grumpy and impatient service expected from hk local restaurants, I was pleasantly surprised that the staff really tried to help me get food as fast as possible because I had to go pick up my kids and only had 5 min to inhale my noodles after the long queue. They were even apologising watching me cram the bowl in my mouth.

Anyhow, the noodles were fantastic and I’ve been craving it all week.
