Really great food – everything handmade/made on site (including the amazingly flavourful couscous!). Hummus, falafel, & babaganoush were so tasty, and the texture of the pita bread was perfect. Would highly recommend 38 the lamb & okra tagine. Definitely also order the couscous side (it’s worth it!). The baklava was yummy (a little sweet for my taste, but overall delicious). The food is a little pricey compared to the portion size, but for the quality, it’s worth it.
Additionally, I wasn’t drinking the wine ordered for the table, so one of the employees fixed me up a customised mock tail which was great.
Great atmosphere and service.
Uncertain why there are so many positive reviews on their food. I even cross-checked with other food review sites to ensure this was the same restaurant. We ordered our food online and it was the worst cooking I have tasted. We coined it perhaps, without prejudice, “chop suey food” for locals? Didn’t know Middle Eastern food (one of my favourite cuisines) could be made to taste this bad and indigestible. Their portions were also remarkably petite and overpriced. This especially applies to their side dishes such as pita bread and tabbouleh. We ordered the Aziza chicken and could appreciate the grill aroma. The moussaka, hummus and pita bread really didn’t settle well with even my usually strong stomach. The delivery packaging was fine and employees seem friendly and eager to help too. Perhaps their main chef was on holiday when we ordered? Ambivalent to give this premise a second try even though they have a 4.1 stars overall rating.
Not the cheapest shawarma wraps but definitely the most delicious! Love this spot for lunch. The lamb is well seasoned and juicy.
Friendly staff and interesting food, nice ambience. The menu does not exactly reflect its description so ask questions about you order.
Delicious and friendly.
The food never disappoints, best lamb in the city. Lovely and friendly service. Topped off with aesthetic decor
Food is ok. Service is a bit rude.
As expected the best tasting food, I’m a regular at their Kennedy town branch for years and very happy that are doing well and expanded further. After a long while finally visited their new branch and was pleasantly surprised how well it’s been designed and laid out. The food I have reviewed before is great as usual and is highly recommended if you like middle eastern food.
Very nice experience, great food, very good drinks, and live music with belly dance.
We had hummus with chicken shawarma, tabbouleh salad, falafel, red wine, beer, Montenegro (very generous portions).
Very friendly staff and great service!
Thank you Aziza!
可能少食,所以感覺上幾好
Delicious! Some really unique flavors and the service is great too. I’ll definitely come back again.
hands down, my favorite go-to restaurant for middle eastern food. the Falafels, tagine, baba ghanoush & hummus never disappoint 🙂 Vegan & Vegetarian friendly !
The vibe of the restaurant is very nice. Big open space. Staff are extremely friendly but food was so so. They definitely have their specialties but some menu items were only average
Friendly service, delicious food, reasonable price and great vibe. On Friday and Saturday they also have a belly dancer performance which really adds to atmosphere. However does get a little noisy with a full house.
amazing atmosphere and superb Egyptians food experience
Authentic Mediterranean Egyptian CUISINES!!
This has to be one of my favourite places in Hong Kong. Great food, impeccable service and a great atmosphere. Love coming back again and again. The chilli feta might be a new favourite for me.
午餐幾好,多欵選擇,餐湯及餐飲夠熱,主菜唔錯,西冷牛排幾好口。
Excellent hot and cold mezzes. The Spring Chicken is awesome
Good food and bargain happy hour drinks
Hummos with caramelized onion tastes just great. It is a bit overly sweet with added honey but is still very tasty anyways.
The restaurant has a very nice ambiance with quite a buzz of conversion.
The food was delicious. We had mezze dips, chicken skewers and tagine with lamb. Plenty of options for the next trip. Will be back
Lovely food, but the portions were disappointingly small.
it’s amazing place with amazing people
Food and service was excellent! Would come back.
The grill meat and tagine was delicious! The garnishes were boring
Love the Middle Eastern food and decor! Great taste, portions are large – lunch sets are great value
Egyptian Restaurant with fancy food and decorations
Ordered on deliveroo, food was alright but absolutely shameful portions for the price. It’s almost comical what you are getting for the money you pay.
Good ambience, authentic Arabic food, and friendly service.
It’s one of my favourite restaurants to visit due to its charming environment and tasty food. The decoration shows the religion of the ancient Egypt. Also, the skewers are nice.
It was a good experience visiting this restaurant. The food was delicious and the quantity was sufficient. The restaurant is located close to a number of public transport stops, and the MTR. The service was quick and efficient.
Fresh ingredients and excellent taste! Also consistently good!
This restaurant definitely had higher expectations than I thought and what the photos and reviews shown, especially since it was Egyptian cuisine and I never tried it before. The food was quite chewy and plain, the staff was not the best or most helpful. They offer free Egyptian belly dance by the staff, but it was also not the best, not authentic and quite ordinary. Overall a bit disappointed. But this is only from my opinion and experience, your experience might be good and you might have different opinion on the food.
Food is amazing and the service is even better! They also cater to big parties and help organise everything. Loved having brunch there and the HH deal is worth it.
Highlights of the meal were the Chili feta dip, the hummus and the lamb kebab.
Very shocked that this place wasn’t packed with people! I was greeted warmly by the staff from the moment I stood outside the door and looked at the menu, and the service did not disappoint. I was also amazed by the quality of the food! The lunch set was great value for money. There was a great variety to choose from, but I ended up having the lamb shawarma, hummus and a side of fries, which were all delicious and served piping hot. Going with a friend was the best decision I could have made, as I got to try more delicious items from the menu. Overall, I am pleased with my experience here – would 100% recommend!
Fantastic food, very helpful staff, great coffee and wonderful value. Will return.
The food was literally disgusting! Kunafa had no taste , kebabs tasted gross/expired and chicken was just average. Service was terrible as well!
The only positive thing about the restaurant was the location , that’s it.
Excellent lamb shank and even better service.
Cold meze is outstanding as well.
What a great find in Sai Ying Pun. Just across the road from the bottom of Water street this wonderful Egyptian restaurant has popped up in our neighbourhood and we are so pleased to have discovered it.
Since everything is in lockdown (again) the wife and I decided to visit for a cheeky lunch date
We opted for the set menu and were blown away by the quality and taste of the food, but also the value for money. The set menu consists of a starter, main, drink and dessert.
For our starter, we went for the hummus and the chilli feta…of all the dishes we tried were fabulous but the feta was our favourite. It was punchy and tangy and perfect with some warm pita bread. YUM
For the main, we opted for the lamb Kofta, and the chicken shawarma and both were abundantly seasoned and so tender. Both dishes come with a side salad that was fresh and the dressing (a pomegranate molasses and sumac) was divine. In addition, you get to choose either rice, cous cous or veges. My wife went for the rice which she adored / devoured and my veges were cooked to perfection and again, beautifully seasoned.
I have been lucky enough to spend a little bit of time in Cairo and I’m happy to report that Aziza felt and tasted very authentic to me. Abundance of those amazing Egyptian spices and best of all, the food, service and overall ambiance of the restaurant is excellent. We will be back and bringing friends
had the lunch set. with lamb shawarma, hummous, fries, salad and there was a pita bread. with a coke zero. well managed portion was good to avoid food waste. utensils were clean.. nice relaxed place with helpful staff and friendly owner.
I made a dinner reservation at Aziza after hearing and reading good reviews regarding the food and service. Unfortunately, I was left underwhelmed and disappointed.
Whilst ordering both food and drinks, we were rather unapologetically informed that half of the items on the menu were not in stock – a poor start to the evening. It took over 20 minutes for our cocktails to arrive, which were more like poorly made mocktails – barely alcoholic and a complete rip-off for the price we were charged.
The starters were unspectacular. The hummus was grainy and over-spiced, and you would certainly get more authentic wara inab elsewhere. Moreover, the waiter serving us “forgot” to bring us the pita bread that was supposed to come with some of the starters ordered, requiring us to prompt him. The only partial saving grace were the falafels, which were crisp on the outside and pillowy-soft in the middle.
For mains, we ordered a chicken tagine with white rice, as well as wraps served with French fries. The “tagine” was basically a watered-down, oversalted tomato gravy with chunks of barely cooked vegetables, although the cook on the chicken was satisfactory. The wraps were soggy and poorly built, whilst the fries were limp and tasteless.
However, the cherry on top of the cake was yet to come. When it came to payment, I handed my credit card to the waiter serving us, expecting to receive a bill to sign in return. I was horrified when he returned with both the credit card and an already-signed bill, casually stating that he had “randomly signed for me”. Never have I ever had a bill signed on my behalf without my consent in any of my dining experiences, and this was the last straw.
Needless to say, I will not be returning to Aziza anytime soon – not unless the management seriously evaluates how the establishment is being run and makes drastic improvements.
Would not recommend.
Great place for a late lunch.
Everything was from top quality!

The waiter forget my order. TWICE. On TWO seperate visits. Terrible service by her. It wasn’t even crowded and the items we ordered don’t even come without the main yet she forgot and barely apologised or gave any sort of compensation. Terrible. Terrible. Just terrible.
