The best dim sum restaurant I have been to in HK. Authentic dishes at reasonable price. Fairly near to the city centre. Their lava toast was mind blowing in my personal opinion.

Great prices for quality foods. I had their Golden Lava French Toast and it was out of this world good. Very happy I tried this place and I will no doubt return on my next visit to HK.
The food is sub-par, but given that there’s no queue at the time I guess it was expected. The price is not cheap either. I only came because it’s nearby and probably won’t be coming back anytime soon.

Menu has English description however servers do not speak not understand English well. Who don’t expect much. Food is perfect for me. Not salty , not sweet, but do tasty. You can local waiting outside ti get their food.

A place serving good dim sum, from traditional style to modern ones. We ordered many different dim sum and they all tasted really good, especially chicken feet and curry squid, worth to try!
Usual price range as most Hong Kong local cafés, so u get cheaper yet superb Golden Lava French Toast than any where else! They also sell dim sum if u prefer to have best of both worlds.
Come between 8-11am and 2.30-6pm for set meal prices. Must-visit for budget travellers :p

Great spot for breakfast or brunch. A twist of local homemade dimsum : siumai, hakau, changfen, glutinuous rice, minced pork or beef on rice, and western style breakfast of salted egg yolk french toast.
This restaurant is worth recommending as you would be able to taste some of the old Hong Kong food! If you get there at normal breakfast time or lunch time, you may have to queue up. The food I ordered was tasty, not too much salt and it is freshly made! If you come here, try out the shrimp toast with sesame! You can taste the freshness of shrimp 🍤 in the toast and apparently takes quite a lot of effort to make it! The atmosphere is nice, staff/owners are really friendly and nice. The menu has Chinese/English translation, so foreigners don’t have to worry about the language barrier!
Must try the signature egg yolk toast and prawn toast!

Use the exit from HKU MTR rather than Sai Ying. Much nearer and less slopes
High quality dim sum! Much better than the dim sum you get from big chain Chinese restaurants. I highly recommend the pawn toast, it’s much better than the ones I’ve always had in the UK… And I thought those in the UK were proper lol! Even though I was told the pawn toast that this restaurant serves isn’t the traditional one, it’s incredibly and the portion is big! The Siu Mai here is brilliant too!
