I visited Sai Ying Pun after some outdoor work in the morning and tried to grab a quick bite (late lunch). Went quickly into this local Chinese restaurant inside Sai Ying Pun market just next to MTR exit. There were just a few tables filled as it’s a Sunday. Picked a simple fried beef noodle (乾炒牛河) and tea as a benchmark. Disappointed. The beef was like rubber and has no beef taste. The rice noodle was ok, dried enough and did not have too much oil. The tea also taste ok, it could be better if it is a bit hotter. Overall below average. Price total hkd57. Better go to Cafe de Coral.

My wife and i walked with our daughter. While feeling a bit hungry, we tried this restaurant in the wet market. Surprisingly, the food is really great. One of the advantage of this kind of restaurant is the proximity to the kitchen such that the food stay warm and yummy when the dishes are put in front of you. Price is better than reasonable. 星期日下午嚟到西環 唔想食西餐又想食平嘢就入嚟街市嘅熟食中心睇吓有咩好食一入到去 開到好大嘅冷氣 令人覺得好舒服唔想走入到去見到個午市Menu都幾多嘢食 就試一次梅菜扣肉飯 都幾大碟餸大約有四片肉 梅菜唔多味道幾好 幾入味！但扣肉有啲太韌 太老！

正街街市入邊，熟食市場，都有間唔錯嘅飯店，原隻龍蝦加粘米粉底，粘米粉加埋啲龍蝦汁，一流配搭。
