轉了老闆之後，味道大不如前
Went in thinking it must be overpriced and generic but was thoroughly surprised. The price range was of normal Hong Kong cafes and the food they serve are actually quite delicious.
The decor has an old Hong Kong feel to it and staffs are nice.
A very good local cafe serves HK style cafeteria breakfast lunch afternoon tea set n dinner at reasonable price.

正所謂，練拳不練功，到老一場空
餐廳掌廚應該深明依個道理，日日夜夜都苦練刀功，日子有功，先有本領切出2mm厚度的豬扒
就算加左比豬扒本身還要厚的炸粉，仍然薄如蟬翼
刀功之高，非一日可以練成的
曾經，我以為日式咖哩吉列豬扒中伏嘅機率係零

我更加唔應該以為意式芝士焗雞扒就真係意式焗，其實掌廚都幾有潛質做老千，豉油西餐當意式，連自己都呃埋，依下嘢，真係唔是個個都做到
唯一，佢無呃我嘅係佢話佢剩係焗雞，意粉係無焗嘅，所以佢將一塊焗到燶嘅雞加啲豉油汁放係意粉旁邊
I’d give it a zero if I could. I live across the street so I gave this place multiple tries before deciding on writing this review. First of all the staff are exceptionally impolite and racist, second, there’s really nothing special on the menu worth mentioning and third, they take forever to prepare even a simple sandwich regardless of whether they are busy. Price wise they are borderline expensive for what they are selling.

The food is always hit and miss at Cross cafe, this time we had the full breakfast which was great, truffled egg pineapple bun which was excellent but followed by watery Milo, burnt and bitter tea and very dry french toast. There are better Cha Chaan Tengs in Honkers. Find one.

food is decent, basically overpriced food you can cook at home but don’t want to. the killer is the service. rude, but then again what do you expect from bitter old restaurants

十字冰室光是外面的 虹燈字牌就讓我覺得整個超酷！ 整個室內的裝潢有別普通的茶餐廳，十分有個性，是舊與新的結合，很討我歡喜～
這裡的食物都是傳統茶餐廳美食再配上新元素，餐牌裡的名字看我我好期待！點了一個黑松露炒蛋菠蘿包、常餐、炸雞批沙律、美碌山。
首先，那個菠蘿包真是超級好吃！黑松露的味道不是假假的那種，應該是真材實料地選用了黑松露醬，味道濃郁而不膩。然後炒蛋份量多，而且好滑，原來這家的炒蛋都是添加了十字牌牛奶（難道是這冰室名字的由來？），難怪那麼香滑！而面頭的菠蘿包又熱又脆，真的很好吃！重點只是29元，很抵吃！
然後還想講常餐的豬扒意粉，特別採用了豬骨湯底，喝了真的不像其他冰室的level，而是很濃郁卻不蛋味精的湯底，很有誠意～
所以這家真的是蠻高CP值的一家冰室，食物質素比一般的高，但老實說，要不是的我媽媽今天要到附近辦點事，應該大概只會有住在附近的人光顧吧！要是地理位置不以選更方便的地址，這家應該會很受歡迎吧～
當去飲奶好了 (題外話唔計入分 之 牛奶樽唔可以帶返屋企😢) …

Walk-in to a retro looking design shop — a bit on the dark side. The sliding doors was annoying. Random wind drafts messing up my hair and it was chilly. People learn to close the door all the way…
Ordered truffle egg with pineapple bun
Yin yang which is half coffee/milk tea was pretty good.
Like’n HK style French toast – crispy and hot

Staff weren’t particularly polite, and were often occupied in their own chit-chat. The chicken and meat in our dish were undercooked. I requested not to provide me with straw but they failed to do so. Will not visit again.

Great food… Just the phone reception is not too good
We stumbled upon this place by accident. Came here for a quick bite as the tea time menu Set A looks interesting. It was indeed a good choice as the pineapple bun with black truffle scrambled egg is pretty good actually. It comes with hot coffee or tea. We got the hot yin yang (coffee mix tea) and it was not bad too. The yin yang is thick and sugar is served separately. The price is also very reasonable with HKD36 only.

Nice place to come for a quick bite. Quite a variety of menu choices with reasonable price.
感覺好差… 侍應十字沒有同理心，紙巾唔係放入櫃筒內，驚人偷紙巾咁，拎紙巾都要出面自己做，侍應唔會幫忙，他們話自己隻手污蔑，請大家不要再光顧…
性價比ok
I ordered their famous meal – the toast was okay, the truffle fried egg did not come with a big surprise. The milk tea was 8/10. The tomato soup beef macaroni was average but I think not a lot of MSG in the soup.
My bf ordered a beef with mushroom sauce pasta. Not very impressive. The seating was also not that cosy too.

Used to have an English menu, but they seem to have gotten rid of that, which makes one think. Food is average. Good beef rib, but the milk tea was not hot, which is disappointing. Not sure why they would get rid of an English menu especually with location on High Street in Sai Ying Pun unless they don’t want foreigners in……..
