西區一向都好多美食，今次去左喺西營盤站附近食西班牙菜🇪🇸
呢度tapas選擇好多，由於兩個人食又怕食唔晒，所以叫左一款試左先！
▪️生牛肉他他配黑松露薯條 ($188)
食食下先發現本身應該係薯條，但變左薯仔粒 (staff又無講聲😮💨)，都食左就廢時出聲，不過生牛肉他他好好食，配埋薯粒都幾夾👍🏽
本身想叫多兩款試下，但呢度好似出名西班牙海鮮飯，點都要叫左黎試下先🤭平時食傳統啲既口味，今次試下墨魚汁先。
▪️西班牙墨魚汁、青口配大蝦燴飯 ($388)
一上枱嚇親！因為超大盤！青口都算幾大隻，大蝦黎講就偏細隻🫣飯量好多！感覺上3，4個人都好夠食 (但見有幾枱都係兩個人叫一盤😂)，墨魚汁味都幾濃，飯粒軟硬適中，係我中意食既口感，偏向煙韌既。
之後叫左杯mojito ($100) 同white sangria ($98)，兩杯酒味都係比起平時飲既較重，唔中意重酒味既就要考慮下。
最後食完個飯之後其實都食唔落其他野🥹如果三五知己一齊食仲正，可以試多幾款tapas，再share個海鮮燴飯都唔過份😛 而且仲免收加一添👍🏽

今次去咗食呢間🇪🇸西班牙菜餐廳可以一次過滿足唔同口味，淨係前菜都有好多款，再加埋signature嘅海鮮飯，仲有超好食嘅巴斯克蛋糕做甜品
前菜六款入邊包括左一個三文魚炮彈、伊比利亞火腿配蕃茄麵包、蘑菇可樂餅，蒜香大蝦配法包同汁煮帶子，兩種海鮮都食到鮮味😋
主角西班牙海鮮飯雖然海鮮量唔算好多，不過食落去個汁好惹味，唔使點樣食餸都已經可以清晒個飯😆

第一次覺得風乾火腿好好食😂唔會太鹹 肉味香！麵包烘得好香脆👍🏻反而覺得上邊嘅蕃茄醬整淋左個麵包😂

原味巴斯克蛋糕配覆盆子雪芭💕超級清新解膩🤩酸酸甜甜👍🏻巴斯克蛋糕唔會太甜～唔係軟心質感 食到焦香+口感順滑❤️
It is a rip off. I order 3 dishes. The 2 tapas already costed 450 , but the portion is like normal starters. You can really tell the ingredient of food is not high quality. The taste, texture and presentation of the dishes are not well designed and engineered. It is mostly pizza express level but 50% more expensive.The service is soso. With $4-600 HKD budget, you can find another french or japanese restaurant with more quality food.

雖然就嚟要去西班牙，但係都阻止唔到我忍口吃西班牙菜，這間西營盤的La Paloma，已經返頭去過好多次！

至愛西班牙菜的Tapas ‼️就係貪佢細細碟，眼闊肚窄的可以點很多很多😍
以下三款是最常見的下酒菜！塗滿蕃茄醬汁的烤麵包片，帶點酸甜微辣，用來搭配伊比利亞火腿等偏咸的食物再合適不過‼️

另外再加點了三款下酒菜，都是每次必點的🙌🏻其中最推介炸薯仔！外皮酥脆，搭配大蒜蛋黃醬與辣味番茄醬，真的超級惹味啊！蒜蓉辣椒蝦好夠蒜蓉白酒香味，除咗隻蝦好食，用麵包點醬汁，好吃到一滴不剩！另外雜菇可樂餅，濃濃的菇香味一級棒

The presentation of this dish is amazing! It tricked me hard that I thought I ordered the wrong dish. The cuttlefish was sliced like pasta and it absorbs the flavour from the butter, mushrooms and herbs.

Don’t even try it — Not worth the price for the paella which is fishy and the $450 about seafood paella that’s given you seafood that has no taste and like the $4 need to throw away garbage. The disappointment from my friend and I’m embarrassed that I had to treat her for a pre-valentines day dinner. I don’t even want to spend more time to write how poor are the food taste at all.

Excellent Spanish brunch to fill you to the brim.. delicious tapas offerings from Chorizo, garlic prawns, flambé scallops, Iberian ham and sundried tomato bruschetta, pork knuckle, seared steak & patatas bravas.. all topped off with a squid ink paella and cheesecake with raspberry sorbet. Fresh, tasty ingredients and excellent service (particularly topping up the cava for the Free Flow!)

Food is so so and definitely overpriced.
Overrated just like many restaurants in Hong Kong. Not recommended!
Great Spanish food in the Sheung Wan area. Their lunch set is one of the most flexible sets I’ve seen. The lunch menu is comprised of tapas and a main course; but if you’re in the mood, you can opt for 4 tapas instead of 2 tapas and a main course. The main courses had roasted pig, grilled octopus or paella. The paella has a minimum order of 2 persons and if you want to go for a mini-splurge, the paella is the way to go. I had the beef tartare, croquettes of the day and the paella. All three were seasons beautifully and were absolutely delicious. The croquettes were super crispy and filled to the brim with fillings. I’ve already been here a few times, and I would definitely come again.

I just had the most amazing Sunday brunch at La Paloma and I can’t stop raving about it! The spread was simply mouth-watering, and I couldn’t help but dig in as soon as I sat down.
First off, the tapas were so good! The fresh tomato bread rubbed with garlic and olive oil was the perfect start to the meal. And don’t even get me started on the Iberico ham croquettes – they were so yummy and crunchy that I couldn’t resist having a few more!
Then came the pièce de résistance – the paella! All you can eat, and it was made fresh right in front of us by the chef. I opted for the chicken and seafood, and let me tell you, it was absolutely delicious. I loved watching the chef work his magic in that big pan!
And let’s not forget about the el chochinillo – slow cooked suckling pig that was melt-in-your-mouth tender. It was all you can eat too, and I definitely took advantage of that!
To round it all off, I indulged in some of my favorite churros for dessert. I wish I had a bigger stomach to eat more because everything was so good! Overall, I would highly recommend La Paloma’s Sunday brunch – it’s definitely worth the money and you won’t regret it!

Taste is alright but it’s waaay overpriced for the portion, which is frankly to a point of stingy, especially when taken into account its location. For the same price, you are better off at Bayfare Social in Rosewood, which in comparison offers much better value. Taste wise, seafood paella and octopus are not bad.

📍西環正宗西班牙菜🇪🇸巴塞隆拿主廚坐陣👨🏻🍳食物高質😋用餐環境舒適🥰
喺西班牙食晚餐一向都好夜😂所以我哋當日都幾入鄉隨俗🤣🤣喺openrice book 咗星期六8:45pm，大約8:40pm 嚟到，餐廳都算full，我張枱都未ready, 於是坐在室外座位等候，剛好室外有座位ready，就選擇坐在室外，坐室外很chill 比較有情調，內部都好精緻舒適，餐廳環境唔錯👍🏻
見到樓下的花牌還以為是新開，原來這裡開業已有8年，剛剛翻新完，大廚來自西班牙巴塞隆拿，Special Menu 由他精心挑選，包6款西班牙小菜及1份西班牙飯，$688/位，本來以為唔會食到咁多嘢所以選擇咗散叫，結果我哋叫咗2款小食、一個西班牙飯、一個甜品和兩杯飲品都差唔多價錢，賣單total $1166，即平均每人$583，所以相對嚟講個special menu 係會抵過散叫！不過我地都好滿意我哋嘅散叫🥰

-無酒精mojito與有酒精mojito 分別除咗係有酒精同埋冇酒精之外，冇酒精就多咗mango，個人覺得有酒精係比較夾同抵飲，因為酒精份量都幾多👍🏻

😋食後感：
-之前好似都食過類似嘅菜式，不過形狀唔同，之前係圓形呢款係長形，不過感覺都好似，外面好脆好薄，一大力夾就會散，內部軟軟有d cream 有d 火腿，幾好味🤤🤤
-不過$25/pc 有啲貴，因為一啖就冇咗😂

😋食後感：
-第一次食烤麵包配香蒜蕃茄，原來這是很普遍的巴塞隆拿食物，我竟然未試過😆
-要自己整，首先把蒜頭🧄在麵包上擦幾擦，然後再擦蕃茄，最後上面放一塊Ham，再加幾粒鹽，味道超正呀😋😋
-最估唔到生蒜頭擦麵包係幾好食，好香少少辣嘅蒜味加上酸甜味嘅蕃茄，再加埋Ham, 口感同味感都好豐富😍都可以加橄欖油，不過個人喜歡加蒜頭同粗鹽多啲👍🏻
Paella Valenciana $368
傅統華倫西亞雞肉、迷迭香配真豆及雅枝竹燴飯
😋食後感：
-基本上次次食西班牙菜都會點海鮮炒飯，同埋通常炒飯都係得海鮮選擇，今次難得見到有海鮮以外嘅選擇，所以就試吓其他味道嘅飯，選擇咗傅統華倫西亞雞肉燴飯，華倫西亞係西班牙第3大城市，個人未去過，所以未吃過當地菜式😆
-燴飯面積睇落好大，不過其實個鑊不深，兩人吃完整個飯都不會太飽
-燴飯加上cream 和檸檬，酸酸地幾清新和幾creamy加上雞肉咸咸地，味道幾特別，第一次吃到嘅味道，幾好味😋

傳統西班牙炸脆條配巧克力醬及雲呢拿雪糕

-外層超脆比較薄同幼身，裡面好軟熟，點埋朱古力醬同雲呢拿雪糕正呀🤤好味👍🏻

Delicious Spanish spot in SYP/Sheung Wan area! Yummy paella and tapas, and lively interiors even though it’s a cozy place. Staff were also really welcoming and friendly – would love to come back here again to try more things on the menu.

Lots of families on a Friday night, very loud atmosphere, made it hard to have convo. A larger space which was nice but pretty average food that were too small even for 2 and overpriced. Probably wouldn’t come back here
