味道正宗,价格中上,可惜酸辣粉配料太少了,肉沬花生都沒,60元一碗粉有點不值。但服務殷勤。
It is a sacred temple of culinary greatness, the Mecca of food, the jerusalem of restaurants. If you go there, prepare to have your life changed in ways you will not comprehend. You will transcend to another state of being after tasting their red-braised beef. Beware however, the consequences for dining at such a restaurant are dire, as you will not be able to ingest food from any other restaurant, not even 3-star fancy michellin star ones, as even they will be excrement-tier catering that gives you diabetes and rupture your pancreas when compared to the impecabble food provided at the glorious RIVER SICHUAN RESTAURANT. But seriously though the food is good go try it out.

酸辣粉幾好食!
最近去咗就近補習嘅川菜食午餐,的確聞名不如見面。 雖然落好大雨,但係差唔多滿座,有唔少人仲係預先訂枱。
糖醋里脊$78 (附送白飯, 冰粉/ 汽水)
唔太想一個人食得太多辣,所以叫咗酸酸甜甜嘅糖醋里脊,里脊係最嫩嘅瘦肉,外層唔係炸得超級脆,但都有口感,內裏啖啖肉,重要係一人份量都超多。
🍡桂花冰粉
最後唔可以錯過川菜著名甜品。 桂花味清香,甜度適中,冰凍啫喱口感,透心涼。
I’ve come here with a large group and also with one other person and each time, the food has been fantastic. I’m a spicy food person, so I think the spice level could be even higher, but it was definitely decent and above average for Hong kong.
Amazing poached fish in hot chili oil, cold Sichuan noodles, string beans, so many other dishes… would like to try their yi bing noodles and chongxing fried chicken and braised beef brisket next! Prepare for a food coma and order beers to help with the spicy food 🙂
叫咗個回鍋肉同糖醋雞肉加桂花冰粉(午餐包一個汽水或桂花冰粉,任擇其一),個回鍋肉味道同糖醋雞肉個味道都唔錯,不過份量就少啲。
唔想有1.5hr嘅時限,所以去咗佢哋私房菜嗰邊。地方寬敞,不過因為係第一次去,唔知道原來餐牌雖然係一樣,但係每道菜都比山上貴好多。食物質素OK,但係太貴了。

takeaway fo the second time,
1 star for takeaway – super small portion… ordered a $279 spicy beef brisket pot and was very disappointed, the portion can barely feed 2person and we only found less than 10 pcs of very small brisket in the dish… even a cafe de coral brisket meal deal has more brisket than this pot….
Always a good meal here. Every dish is well prepared, down to the fried mantou (buns) with condensed milk.

入到去就聞到勁香嘅辣椒麻辣味🤤 有啲淆底但仍然非常期待
叫咗個水煮魚、口水雞同埋清炒萵筍
平時食嘅口水雞多數都係冷盤,一般雪凍嘅雞肉肉質會比較硬咗啲。而呢度嘅口水雞係熱食,肉質嫩滑,麻辣香口!
主菜水煮魚,我哋揀咗BB辣,唔好被佢相入邊嘅辣椒嚇親。平時食超辣會比較辛苦,食到鼻涕都流埋🥲但呢個辣度我哋係食到麻辣嘅香味,係可以好享受咁樣去食辣野。湯底有薯粉同埋芽菜,同樣地超入味,我地仲叫左個白飯☺️魚質新鮮嫩滑,而且份量多,兩人一定夠食。
菜我哋就冇揀辣🤣清炒萵筍切得好幼細,爽口唔油膩,如果可以炒得乾身少少就好啦。
店員服務態度很好👍🏻地理環境都算近地鐵站,西營盤c出口行幾分鐘就到。建議有興趣去食嘅,先訂枱會比較好!平日嘅夜晚都滿漢全席呢。

Anyways,值唔值得好個人既問題,但係你哋餐廳門口係放LUNCH MENU同大大隻寫免加一,有啲欺騙成份囉🤷🏻♀️ 同埋說話個態度可以好少少,聽完都覺得自己食得好委屈。
食物味道OK,唔可以話有質素囉,明明啲食評讚到咩咁,全部打手嗎?
紅燒牛肉麵最好,夠熱夠辣。
擔擔麵一pat,好thick既花生醬加辣,乾撈唔均勻一啲好漏一啲好辣一啲好咸😑
特別炒飯無特別,就係欖菜蛋葱同鼻屎咁細粒既火腿。
椒鹽脊里最差,係淋既炸豬柳粒,無味。
個鍋巴好似用廚餘整一大pat汁倒上好薄片既淋鍋巴,sadddddd 👎🏻
不過坐落又真係好多人入嚟食既,但9成都係講普通話/英文既大學生。
非常正宗川菜, 態度非常友善。

River Sichuan Restaurant is my go to spicy Sichuan restaurant!! Authentic smells and flavours of Sichuan, and the best you can get in Hong Kong! If you love spicy food, this is the place to go. The flavours are bold and has the taste of China. The restaurant is clean and homely feeling, and the staff are friendly. The spicy fish dish is a must have! Would definitely recommend to bring friends and spicy food lovers here!

Noodles 麻辣香鍋
Some of the best Chinese food in HK! The restaurant even has egg, rice and tomato on their menu (personal favorite).
When we arrived, it wasn’t all too busy but it got busier as time went by. We still got served in a timeous manner and the service was good.
The food was absolutely delicious. We didn’t order much on the day, but I’ll be going back again to try their other dishes.
My favorite thing about their menu is that they give you dish options that they can make meatless for anyone who might want that; it’s accommodating.
Unfortunately, this venue isn’t very accessible. It’s on the side of the SYP escalators and requires people to either walk up or take the escalator up. I didn’t spot any elevators in the area around.

🔥[未得川之源者,未得味之巔者也]🔥
校於西環,逢午之時,近至數里,遠至百里,有食堂者,吾皆得之。吾思食者,為充飢,為享樂,為休憩,不知有一川之源,以改食之義予吾矣。
元落十四年,友邀吾赴食堂於正街,入之,迎面而見是牆樑之赤,撲鼻而來是美食之香,甚喜。友薦吾嘗紅燒牛肉,見之,朱如血之色,激如刺之味,必其辣無比,無以食辣,甚惶。
食之果辣無比也!舌痛如裂,唇腫如腸,汗滴如雨也!吾悔之,吾悲之,吾恨之也!一瞬,吾忍耐之,忽覺是牛肉之鮮,是土豆之脆,是椒果之爽;又是辣油之香,又是麻油之香;頂天之味,絕地之嘗也。後逢每午赴食堂者皆為川之源,其川式回鍋肉,麻婆豆腐等,皆美味無比,回味無窮也,耐辣之功亦漸純也。
頓悟人生之道,豈弗如此耶?苦難必臨,無可避免,承之甚艱,受之甚苦;卻如耐之,忽覺是人間之美,世界之大;又是道之悟,又是知之得。而耐苦之功漸純,人世是美善無比,道知是略大無窮矣!辣盡則味來;苦盡則甘來。謂是如此兮!
所以食佳餚而得一道弗川之源豈得?是故必薦君也!紐約得自由神象,倫敦得大笨之鐘,麥加得清真之寺,香港則得川之源也!吾今校畢,無赴之以年,甚念之,今山珍海味,三牲五鼎,八珍玉食,皆食之無味矣。故盼有生之年,可再得,以嘗頂天之餚矣;亦盼君嘗之,以得吾心,得吾樂,得吾道也!

Went for lunch and had a tasty, spicy meal. I ordered the dan dan noodles which was really nice. The people I dined with got some spicier dishes and we shared those. Including some chilli oil dumplings which were delicious.

住西營盤但一直都冇機會光顧「川之源」。適逢屋企人喜愛食川菜,於是帶埋屋企人試吓啲間地道川菜風味👍🏻 店舖不大座位唔算多,整個格局十足十地道嘅川菜店👍🏻
酸菜桂花魚 $278(+$20 轉闊薯粉)
大大嘅一盤酸菜魚熱辣辣望到都流晒口水🤤同出面嘅老壇酸菜魚唔同,佢唔會有萵筍、芽菜等配菜,亦冇落花椒。魚塊冇沾上蛋白食到原汁原味。整體相對地冇咁油膩,正宗川菜魚!酸辣味道做得幾平衡。桂花魚仲會俾埋魚頭魚鰭,一啲都唔浪費!
干煸四季豆 $98
食川菜一定唔少得干煸四季豆,炒得幾香幾乾身唔會好油膩。
重慶口水雞 $88
唔算好辣,好有地道口水雞風味👍🏻

熱辣辣炸起,外脆內軟,加埋煉奶一齊食,非常好味,最鍾意食啲道菜😅

食飽飽仲會送上甜品(免費架!)冰粉口感好似寒天,夠冰凍加埋糖水好滿足。
總結:地道嘅川菜小店,價錢稍為貴少少,不過各道菜嘅質素都好平均,味道符合預期,推介炸饅頭👍🏻

今晚嚟到西環搵食,天氣凍凍地緊係食d辣野暖暖個胃,揀咗呢間想試好耐嘅川菜餐廳!佢係位於西環高街附近,由正街一路向上行就會見到💕
佢個裝修格局係比較中式風格,感覺似家庭式經營嘅小餐館
水煮魚 $218
水煮魚個魚肉好新鮮軟滑,魚肉吸收晒水煮湯嘅辣汁精華,每一啖入口都係好香濃嘅辣味,帶少少麻痹嘅感覺,好刺激好好食!鍾意食辣嘅朋友一定唔好錯過!同埋佢個份量都幾大,魚肉嘅比例都好多,湯底下仲有寬面,都幾抵食!
鮮魚皮
喱個小菜好驚喜!魚皮好爽滑好彈牙,咬落口索索聲!!魚皮洗得非常乾淨,配埋麻油嘅香味同埋四川嘅椒油味,好開胃好香口!令我諗起當年去廣州食嘅鮮魚皮一樣口感!佢呢間個川菜味道都好正宗!
口水雞
口水雞雞肉都好嫩滑,配埋個口水雞辣汁,真係又惹味又好食!
肥腸小面 呢個肥腸小面一嚟到已經好濃厚既內臟嘅香味,肥腸好肥美,大腸既肥肉食落去好飽滿,小面都好彈牙,如果想食正宗川菜嘅朋友一定要bookmark呢間餐廳,冇諗過咁細間小店都可以做到咁高水準!
食到最尾仲有個冰粉送比我地食,好正呀,食完辣野個口麻痹哂,食番個桂花冰粉可以即時解辣,冇諗過店家咁貼心,平時去食川菜一個冰粉都收您五六十蚊,桂花甜味再加冰涼既涼粉口感,簡直係一個完美嘅句號呀!
