半路咖啡(Halfway Coffee)

It would be much better if they could use a pair of cup and plate.

For those who love to post what you eat and drink, this is one of the cafe to go for.
I suppose for a first time tourist in Hong Kong, this could be a good place to cool down and relax after visiting Man Mo Temple and local antique shops.

But for those who love to have a calm and peaceful coffee time, better to avoid.

As I lived in Sheung wan for nearly ten years, I have collected some Chinese vintage porcelain. Those colourful cups and saucers are mostly mass produced. They can be purchased at street markets and small porcelain shops in the city.

這個區域是古董街，半路的特色是採用了各種復古杯具，現場把古物跟現代的工業文青風完美融合，咖啡屬於口感比較濃、中深焙風格，水準不錯不是只賣氣氛。

店員會來點餐，後付，有收VISA/MasterCard，服務不錯。

The best coffee I had so far in Hong Kong. The cappuccino is excellent, so smooth yet packs a punch. On top of that, all the pretty cups just add a smile to your face.

The food is great too, not many choices but they do it well. I ordered the basic scramble egg, bacon & sourdough. The pink beet mayonnaise is great, complements the egg & bacon well.
Atmosphere is great too, feels very ‘neighbourhoody’, the server recognises the regulars, dogs didn’t want to leave, so good!

The best coffee I had in Hong Kong. The wet foam of the flat white is excellent! 👍🏻
The staffs are very friendly and managed to get two indoor seats for us despite the shop is mostly full.
There’s a small area called “Halfway Museum” aside the coffee shop to showcase the collections of cups and plates of the owner, worth checking in and hear some stories behind them.

The only downside is the lemon tart, too sweet (well maybe not sour at all), small sized, not what I expected. But overall still a great place I would recommend.

Lovely coffee shop with Asian influence in the interior design and packaging. Downside is the limited choice of coffee beans, only serving a blend as a house coffee. Also, Oatly is the only alternative milk they have.

It was a chill cafe with friendly attentive baristas. The barista(girl) knows what she’s doing. Coffee was great.

Reason why I gave 4 stars, is the lack of options for snacks or bites. They have food but are more of meals. I Would deffo go back.

Lovely mood and staffs. I had cappuccino twice when I stay in Hongkong. It was good. Credit card was okay.
