A simple sign greets you, the space inside seems cramp initially, but then you realise they made it comfy with a bit of retro 80’s Hong Kong flair. Can’t complain about coffee, food was great and best of all, my date was highly amused by seats as tables.
On a quiet day, I can see this place to be a fantastic place to chill and enjoy some good coffee.

Walk too quickly and you will miss this place! The coffee is worth trying! It has depth and a rich coffee taste without being bitter. Not as strong as some others like Cupping Room. I went at 11:30am on a Sat and it was surprisingly empty! I think it had a cute little courtyard too but I was in a rush so not 100% sure.

當我問到哪裡可以買到餐具時，店員的姐姐好心地告訴我，我順利地為自己買了一個紀念品。

I’ve been visiting here once a month. Coffee is served in traditional cups, such a cool idea to taste both the good old days and fresh brewed beverage. Nice place to take a break, staffs are friendly. Located next to the “Cat Street”, and close to lots of heritage attractions.
Hidden from the busy streets in an alley, its a pretty chill place to relax and get some high quality coffee.

they using authentic chinese porcelain for the cappucino cup and the take away cup is also got chinese porcelain shades

Expected the longan coffee and black sugar coffee to taste special, but I was wrong! Its just normal tasting coffee. There is a “rule” that states each person must order at least one drink. Furthermore, the place is really squeezy. Not my cup of coffee. 🙁 …
Great setting, great service, food, decor. I save five star reviews for the real greats. The ones I’d like to make a regular, and this does it. The price, especially before eleven, is great.

Unique cafe small but nice
I ordered a piccolo latte. The cafe is located in a small alley which makes me take a moment to find it. Yet, it is worth for it. The coffee cups there are so so so beautiful just like a piece of art and those dishes and cups are attractive to me. I am delighted to pay a visit to this little cafe. It’s interesting to me. Unlike others chain coffee shops, it is classic and elegant with full of decorations of small little toys such as old handles from coffee machines. I feel relaxed to stay here even just a while. By the way, the relaxed music is also a plus.

My barista in Melbourne recommended this place to me – the coffee was spot on and the food delicious. You might need to hunt to find it, but it’s well worth the effort. Highly recommend!

1. there’s no wifi so laptop is NOT allowed.
2. if you wait for your friend with one drink, you’ll be kicked out after 1hr.
in short, this place is NOT for you to enjoy coffee or the space, but for them to earn money.
Coffee is good but way too pricy and cramped
Delicious coffee and stylish vintage cups. Service was friendly and attentive. It was a warm and welcoming place and my favorite of the 5 coffee shops I visited while in HK.

Nice place to hang out and chat with friends. Quality of time accompanied by good coffee and food. Flat white, latte, espresso etc, dessert you could choose lemon tart, opera cake, brownie together with ice cream, dried pineapple and fruits. The shop is small but atmosphere is good.

Coffee was great, but not the service.
Located in the middle of row of antique shops, perfect blend the old and new interior design and decorations. Friendly and open atmosphere, particular the outdoor sitting area ( very nice during the winter months, might be a different story in summer). I love the marriage of their great latte and old china. Creative and beautifully done. It is a seriously beautiful latte I have today!

My favourite café. The staff is exceedingly welcoming, kind and attentive. I keep coming back for the flat white coffee. After my second visit the staff knew me and my regular order. Now and again there is a new piece furniture or artwork which entices the coffee drinker to stay and idle for a while. The food is delicious too!
The bigger of the 2 Halfway Coffees in the area. Quite busy with Instagrammers, Staff are efficient and soon find people seats. Vintage chairs and tables and teaware. Good coffee in nice looking cups. Lemmon tart nicely presented with fruit and ice cream.

加上用的茶杯及外帶紙杯都是中式的花紋，
分別有兩家店，一家在上環東街─店面狹長
摩羅上街的比較寬闊。
天氣好的時候，很適合點杯咖啡坐在前庭看著熙來攘往的旅客。
甜點也很特別，如果在上環想喝杯咖啡，
Halfway Coffee是很不賴的選擇 🙂
Excellent coffee and great ambience
This cafe is super cool. It’s such a Hong Kong place, loaded with traditional Hong Kong style antique crockery, furniture and decor, and serving another very Hong Kong thing: absolutely killer coffee.
Cozy cafe for a Saturday afternoon. Came here because of the aesthetic coffee cups, too bad they weren’t serving porcelain cups that day.
