Very poor and expensive coffee. I tried a sturbucks in a lot of places in the world, but this one is the worst. The most delicious Sturbucks in Tokyo according to my experience.

It’s a Starbucks

This is a Starbucks connected to a hotel with generous views of the outside world and trams.

All the usual drinks and snacks on offer with cheerful counter staff.

Dropped a star because the interior was a little gloomy despite the natural light.

You would expect that the ‘barista’ working for coffee shops know how to make cappuccino, no?

The staff of this branch certainly does not.

I’ve returned my cappuccino twice as it was purely hot milk (old fashion cappuccino is milk 1 espresso & 85ml milk) – even a double shot espresso (30ml) as no change when the staff drowns it with 300ml milk – yes they love to fill up the tall size 354ml cup with milk until the very end. Usually not a fan of waste; I had to trash the third attempt and didn’t want to explain a 4th time.

Thank you Starbucks, “5 bad stars” for listening to your customers and taking their request serious.

人流高的地方一定沒有位置

I have never really understood why there is little understanding of the difference between “warming it up” and “grilling it to death” . Would think by now staff at Starbucks would know there is a time difference in warming up a croissant ( in this case ) or warming up a Spaghetti Bolognese. It is not these staff in particular but applies to most Starbucks outlets as I have to constantly ask ‘just a minute or so please, when ordering a croissant’. So definitely will not be visiting in any outlet ever again. The fact they seem quite confused about the fact that I was complaining was more dismal. Perhaps someone out there prefers a croissant this darkened and the cheese well past its glow.

Starbucks has a place for me for early morning coffee. Every Starbucks I tried, I’ve seen they maintain their standards, making new cappuccinos or lattes with fresh milk and not use the same milk they used.

I went to have a drink and asked if I could charge my phone, the waitress told me to go to 7 eleven because they couldn’t do anything for me, thanks!
