Coffee isn’t perfect but the best I’ve had in Hong Kong so far and the place itself is nice and cozy. Food too.
Barista Jam is the best espresso spot I have found in Asia to date. They offer well pulled traditional drinks, frilly sounding Starbucks style drinks, and a food selection ranging from decedent snacks, to western breakfast and I believe western style lunch & dinner too.
The atmosphere is excellent with attentive staff, free wireless, jazz in the background and comfortable air conditioning, this is a great spot to get out of the craziness of Des Voeux Road heat and traffic to cool down and chill out for a bit.
Piccolo Latte
這裡可以飲到Piccolo Latte，據說在義大利和澳洲都很受女士歡迎，香港卻很少咖啡店供應。Piccolo可解作短笛，亦有｢小的｣意思。Piccolo Latte是粹取單份濃縮Ristretto，放於90 ml 的玻璃杯中，再將打熱了的牛奶與奶泡注滿杯即成。細細杯，介乎Cappuccino及Espresso Macchiato之間，飯後喝也不會過飽。鮮奶把咖啡豆中的果酸變成甜味，同時減低了espresso的苦味，因此飲Piccolo Latte不用加糖。
Great coffee place. Uses a La marzocco strada machine. Beans from nicaragua columbia and ethiopia. Friendly stuff. Has wifi.
Traveling around for coffee, i realize that it is not how much money you pay for a cup of coffee, it’s how much the whole cafe and coffee place worth paying that amount. This place gave me both decent coffee and decent location for what i am paying. Well done, but the best i still say is Just Caffe in Penang, Malaysia!
I found this one on many of the top ten coffee lists in Hong Kong. Dropped in while it was raining. New York style common table seating downstairs with more seating upstairs. I had a mocha and was pleased with it. Every coffee house has their unique presentation and this one did as well.

Coffee was decent. Cosy upstairs seating area. Kinda looks like a speed dating set-up.
Coffee is good, but difficult to experience aroma, because of cooking food overwhelms fragrances.

Nice little cafe in central. You can tell they are serious about their espressos and have good technique. Not much seating here. Fruit juices are also good for companions that dont like coffee.

我喝的咖啡是“Piccolo”。
我通常喝濃縮咖啡。
Piccolo 就像濃縮咖啡加了一點腐爛的牛奶。我今天喝的短笛很適合早上喝，加牛奶和微酸的濃咖啡一起喝。雖然質地很重，但是很好吃。
One of the best coffee in HK
除了外面的都爹利阶梯，里面的布置也很有特色，有很多老旧布置，感觉比洗衣街的星巴克冰室更有港味！
靠阶梯和靠老旧陈列的座位比较热门，当然，早上9点多10点还是桌位任选的。
今天肚子塞的下，所以必须来个香港专有的菠萝包16，这里是厚切16。面包是巧克力色，感觉是咖啡或者焦糖味，很大一个，果然是厚切！味道中规中矩，可怜爪这次在香港居然只吃了这个菠萝包…
另外来个拿铁最小杯型30，味道不赖。

Good place and cozy. One of the most famous coffee place in Hong Kong. The barista and owner are super nice. Had a fun talk about coffee.

Reviews said they served one of the best coffees in Hong Kong. Well, I tried their ice drip but I do not like it. It is way too thin, too light, lacking tastes and aroma. I do not think reviews lied as it is quite a popular place even at a Sunday evening. Not sure if it’s cuz of Sunday? Or It’s probably just not my cup. Will give it aother try if I pass by on a weekday next time! Place is cozy and staff are friendly~

Solid Espresso bar not caught up on style. Great for coffee tools/supplies. Beans roasted in house. Food menu is looked Mediterranean today and smelled amazing. Unfortunately I didn’t have time to try it.
I had one of their homemade fruit juice. It was excellent. Sorry! I forgot to take picture.

I’m not a coffee scientist but these guys seem to know what’s up. They really take pride in a cup of Joe. Service was friendly and the space is cozy.

素聞這咖啡小店的大名，可算是香港精品咖啡店的佼佼者之一，星期六下午於上環閒逛經過便試試。坦白說，小妹對咖啡沒有太多研究，只是喜歡與男友於咖啡店聊聊天消磨時間。Barista Jam共有兩層，其實談不上有什麼裝潢，都是簡單擺放一些桌椅，與中上環半山那些型格咖啡店的感覺截然不同。小店出名澳式咖啡，當然要來杯源自澳洲的Flat White，香港好像也較小咖啡店提供，咖啡味濃郁之餘又富奶香，香醇而不帶半點酸，好喝… 繼續閱讀
One of the first cafe in town for premium coffee.
Indonesian pour over I had was decent. Very serious about the coffee. Nice chat with the barista in my quest to know how to order a strong, full bodied pour over in HK. Not an easy task.
店主對出品是非常認真
Went at around 4pm today (according to hours posted on Google Map) but it’s not open. Part of the shop’s hours are shown, which said that it’s opened on Sundays till 6pm, but in fact it’s not. Guess it is like other cafes on this street now — all clised on Sundays.
Cool and cosy. Solid coffre.. don’t expect hot food on a Sunday (which I think is a bit of a silly thing)
Good coffee! Had an espresso and a macchiato which were very good. We just had a couple of ham, cheese , tomato croissants that were just what we wanted but other food being cooked smelled yummy!

Been here many years ago. But the quality is degrading ,but the worst is the attitude of service. The lady was making sour face when being asked about coffee(I would have thought barrista would be eager to answer it ).
Good service but very narrow space without power sockets. Wifi is terrible to connect most of data-intensive sites.
If you are after a great coffee in Hong Kong and staying close to central I think this is the place to go.

I ordered the Best of Panama Catuai Natural, the coffee is excellent, but it was too watery. Maybe only few coffee was used for the brewing….
Liked the coffee and pasta very much, though a bit crowded during lunch time. Not much privacy for seating on 2nd floor.
