If you’re looking for yakitori – this friendly place is what you’re looking for. Good value of money for 12 dishes of skewers! They nailed the chicken wings and the skin. I have heard they are coffee shop by day, yakitori by night, will absolutely check out their day time menu at some point

Pet-friendly and nice atmosphere
Chill cafe with delicious cheese cake and nice staff.
It is great to grab a coffee and a cheese cake to chit chat with friends.
Spent the whole afternoon there ha ha
And I found it is a pet-friendly cafe. Some customers brought their pets to the cafe
can’t wait to bring my dog to visit again. 🙂
PS I miss the burnt cheese cake and the atmosphere
Overpriced and unimpressed. We ordered coffee and sweet potatoes fries. Coffee were so-so, unimpressed. Probably the beans had gone bad or something, tasted really awkward…. And this was how the fries looked like after we had two pieces only. It costed $60 and obviously overpriced for the amount served, or the rent is really too high there 🙁 it looked like an ashtray with a few cigarette butts, not to mentioned that the taste were plain, probably unseasoned at all, that we had to ask for salt… perhaps this place serves nice yakitori as what I have seen in the reviews, but definitely not a place which is worth your time for coffees and snacks. there are loads of better choices nearby.
We tried the 10-course yakitori omakase, which was surprisingly decent given the competitive price ($298 + 10%). The must haves are the chicken thighs and the gizzards!
Our server, Edwin, was super-friendly and did a great job given that it was his first ever night as a server in F&B. Look forward to returning!
P.s. it’s a dog-friendly cafe during the day, so don’t be alarmed if you see hairy fluff around 🙂
Update: We came back for the 12-course omakase and it was just as good as the first time around. Great to see it packed every night so make sure that you book in advance!

Mixo is a family run cafe located on the trendy Tai Ping Shan Street, just minutes walk from Soho/PMQ. It has a very relaxed & comfy ambience, great spot to chill for an hour or two. Food is reasonably good too.

Friendly staff and really delicious coffee. Yes, as other reviews suggest, the service can be a bit slow, but it’s worth the wait in my experience. The breakfasts are delicious (see attached photos), there’s lots of seating, the staff are unfailingly polite and welcoming to everyone and speak perfect English. One of my favourite places in HK.

You don’t allow a customer to order and then ask to have them move out back so they can cram more people in. That’s not a way to build up a customer base. Never again.
