Such a cute cafe, fantastic service, the almond rice late was to die for – do check this place out
Really nice and friendly staff and delicious sous vide food. Plenty of veggie options. Pumpkin superfood risotto was very tasty and the truffle 63C egg spaghetti was superb! Tom yum salmon rice was refreshing. Pictures of dishes I decorated myself.
Flavours were top notch. Highly recommended.
I’ve hosted a private event at their beautiful venue and hired them as my client celebration’s caterer. Both times Vivienne, Day and the team had gone over and beyond to make sure their food was delicious and we had an unforgettable experience. My guests were wowed by their first bites and increasingly impressed throughout the whole meal till their exquisite desserts. I would highly recommend Fast Gourmet to anyone looking for exceptional catering services and a place to bring friends and families for quality meals.
Free corkage here. Worth to bring your own wine to chill with friends. Food is just fairly normal. Cafe setting. Have to point out one thing: Main course “arrives” when we haven’t finished the appetizer.
Fast gourmet – a recently opened sous-vide specialist who I would gladly help crowdfund so that they can retire, for the sake of humanity and all the poor animals and veg tortured by their incompetence. Something I should’ve noticed from the paradoxical name.
Sous-vide iberico pork belly – a literal block of fat with 5% meat. That pig must’ve been soo fat even the slightest movement could’ve caused a bloody earthquake.
Sous-vide salmon with tom yum. Modern tech has made sous-vide so easy that so long as you can turn the dial on the machine as instructed, it easily yield juicy tender meat. Fast gourmet managed to defy the impossible, demonstrating that even with sous-vide, you can have dry and overcooked salmon. Alas. That tom yum soup, they weren’t referring to the Thai dish.
Sous-vide lamb with black truffle mash. The salmon prepped us well for the Saharan dryness of the lamb. But honestly I wasn’t too sure if it was lamb even, given the powdery aftertaste. Powdery was apparently a running theme, as the mashed potato was equally powdery. I guess real potato is in scarcity.
Scallop with tom yum soup and quinoa rice. A patty of rice (like in cha chan tengs) turned up, with only specs of quinoa visible. Upon query, a senior staff rocked up with a fork to scoop up the scant freckles of quinoa hidden in the rice, informing us that we would have known that it’s rice based if we have watched their media advertisement. Impeccable service indeed. At this point, we were just in hysteria. But since we paid for dessert anyway, might as well see what surprise awaits us.
Homemade gelato – white truffle, Indian tea, cheesecake. They were very generous to ave given us a slightly bigger scoop as remedy to our unpleasant experience. I really would’ve preferred they told us it was sold out and gave us a refund. Cheesecake was the highlight of all. The concoction of artificial lemon flavouring and cheese that has gone off, topped with an overdose of cinnamon sent our tastebuds on overdrive. The texture was bizarrely powdery, a texture the chef seems to find pleasant.
Sous-vide blueberry cheesecake. The same artificial lemon flavour was present, assuming it’s the same gone off cheese. The texture was bizarrely buttercream like which they seem to think is cheesecake. This was all coupled with the burnt digestives crumble they sprinkled on top.
If you are reminiscing 明將壽司, Fast gourmet is your western substitute, if not better.
It’s okay, nothing special enough to go specifically but if in the area and need a bite, this will do. Portions small.
Nice service, comfortable place, food a bit pricey.

Complete disappointment. I ordered a chicken salad sandwich on food panda and got a sad, fat piece of cold bread and a cup of chicken salad with four massive hunks of chicken that I then had to assemble. Not at all as advertised and quite unimpressive.
Fantastic friendly service. Food preparation wasn’t as fast as what its name suggests, but the delicious pasta definitely worth waiting. The soft boiled egg was the true highlight!
Horrible tasting menu and worse service. On a Saturday night no less. Who calls them selves a french restaurant and puts sugar in a beef cheek sauce? No duck on the menu either. And buyer beware you are only getting a teaspoon of gelato for that 3rd course.
Awesome food, friendly staff and good prices. Can’t really ask for much more.

平時食到既西餐好少會似豬腩為食材
佢慢煮後加藜麥糠同麵包糠一齊焗
食既時候無油膩感既感覺,而且仲入口即融
至於自己最鍾意既superfood risotto
佢就用左生熟薏米加藜麥黎代替普通risotto ,入口又有口感又唔會食到好肚漲
整體不論食物同飲品都見到店主與廚師的用心,值得推介~*
Fast Gourmet is a relatively new place on Shin Hing Street between Hollywood and Gough Streets. Billed as a sous-vide specialist, they offer a fair number of healthy food options as well. Opening hours are 11am-9.30pm (weekdays) and 9.30am-9.30pm (weekends).
Seating and environs are casual and relaxed. Staff are polite and attentive. During a lunch we had here a couple weeks back, we tried their starter – cream of pumpkin soup, which was ok. The bowl could have used some cumin. It tasted better with a bit of pepper.
For mains we tried the Sous-vide Norway Salmon (45 min slow cooked). The fillet was prepared well with a light char on the outer layer and beautiful deep pink inner layers. Served with fresh ingredients and a tom yum style broth, the salmon was very tasty. We also had the White Truffle ‘Superfood’ Risotto that was delicious. This was a small serving but a nice combination of ingredients and a lovely medley of flavour. Both of our mains were worth ordering again.
Overall, a pretty good first meal at Fast Gourmet in Sheung Wan. We look forward to a return visit sometime in the near future.

流心牛角酥正,齒頰流香,推薦龍蝦湯味或黑芝麻。至於招牌慢煮都不負期望,沙律可以一試,唯慢煮意粉,個人覺得硬身了些許。

There are some soup inside the croissant, very delicious, the tea set cost $88,it includes a croissant, a dessert and a drink, the drinks are special too.
What a disaster service here, on 3 orders: 1 dish was missing although we asked twice to check our order, and one wrong dessert, ask the bill 3 times mentioning we were in rush due to their delay for serving us, still not presenting the bill after 15 minutes, and the food is so so, waste of time and money
每次來到中上環,都被各式各樣餐廳的裝修吸引,很喜歡這兒的氛圍。
去了一家主打流心牛角包的小店,進門就被深深吸引。一大列的酒瓶櫃,玻璃和鏡子散發著通透感,而且還有大量的綠色植物,來到就自自然然有放鬆的感覺。
我們來的是下午茶時間,剛好有一個流心牛角包套餐。想要的牛角包和飲品都有了,不作他選。
龍蝦湯流心牛角包
先上的牛角包,樣子和其他牛角包沒有分別,一切開先知道佢承載了大量的湯汁,湯汁流滿了整個碟子,龍蝦湯不會過鹹,有海鮮味道。而牛角包脆而不散,把麵包蘸著湯吃,麵包吸收了滿滿的湯汁。
海鹽焦糖咖啡牛角包
這個甜包內裡的咖啡味道比較輕盈,沒有太搶味。麵包上面鋪滿了咖啡粉。兩款來說,我們都一致認爲龍蝦湯牛角包更驚為天人。
真空慢煮法式芝士蛋糕
慢煮等甜品未吃過,芝士比平時的更軟更滑,像吃超濃郁的芝士醬一樣。
白松露雪糕配凍乾草莓
白松露下得超多,味道香濃。最喜歡是乾草莓,碎粒的草莓乾化做一小片一小片的,卻十分酸,配上甜的雪糕便剛好中和了。
富士山下
飲品方面,點了馳名的富士山下,上層濃厚奶泡,中層是過渡區的灰色奶泡,下層是double espresso 加上了竹炭粉。咖啡味道有餘韻,不酸,是我喝過的咖啡中最喜歡之一。
白桃芝味特飲
白桃特飲則較細緻,芝味平衡,加了楊桃不會滯漏,反而有點清爽。
流心牛角飽是Fast Gourmey的主家研發,每一款都充滿驚喜。今次試了流心芝麻餡,甜甜地好特別。 當然唔少得就係小店主打的慢煮菜式,每一道都好有心機。
店鋪精緻,頗有格調,感覺彷似渡假,食物有新意,牛角包加入龍蝦湯流心或松露流心等,飲品亦富有創意,如富士山下、白桃芝味特飲等,值得強烈推薦。
咖啡、食物都好,難得服務非常親切,很友善!
十分驚喜,在中環區竟然有一間餐廳的食物除了賣相精美,煮得好味之外,價錢仲要唔係好貴。
慢煮牛扒,牛肉我聽多,但是一直都未食過,今晚,終於可以食到喇!
享慢煮意除了有慢煮牛之外,還有慢煮(豬,羊,雞和帶子)的菜色。
餐廳的牛角包🥐是必點菜色,牛角包內包著濃濃的湯汁,好有心思的一道菜!👍

Terrible service by male staff, same level as a cha chaan tang. He told is to speak Chinese, just because we look Asian doesn’t mean we can speak /read the language! Steak was cold when served, tiny portion, food contains flavor enhancer (MSG, very thirsty afterwards). We ordered the iron steak and bacon wrapped lam, it was mediocre taste. Low value, overpriced food. The drinks are OK, best thing was the water. Not recommended.
Very creative restaurant with all the food I never tried before. Lots of choices of food and drink from the menu, with full of suprise. The highlight is…the service, all servers there are cheerful, warm and friendly.
The room of improvement is the main course, which is not hot enough, although it has been tasty.
My recommendations are croissant in lobster bisque, really suprised. Desserts are all nice, too. Slow cooked cheese cake and white truffle ice cream, really really delicious.
We left the restaurant with satisfaction.

今日與老朋友聚餐,選址去到中環一間靜靜地有氣氛嘅餐廳,環境清靜,大約只有四五檯,仲有另一個原因係因為呢到嘅牛角包係全港最出名!!所以一定要黎食,我地分別食左三個主食先,澳洲牛面頰配芋絲及薯蓉 $168,係中環地段食到呢個牛實在合理,牛頰肉食落比較嫩口,而炸芋絲係另一重點,脆脆的,同牛肉一齊食係相映生輝,跳到下一個主食係真空慢煮鮮挪威三文魚配冬蔭魚湯 $168,呢個食落比較清,唔係重口味果隻,冬蔭公味亦唔算濃!最後一個主食係頂級牛肩排配鴨肝及黑松露薯蓉 $268,牛扒食落都還可以嘅係硬左少少,重點係舊鴨肝到,一咬啲鴨油出哂黎,勁香!而甜品方面就叫左龍蝦湯、紫薯、松露流心牛角包,我最愛係龍蝦湯,因為出面坊間係冇嘅,仲要係龍蝦湯,非常濃,一個字,掂!另外食左個白松露雪糕,個松露味真係好勁!最後飲品飲左return black,係黑芝麻豆奶,好型又唔錯!
First time here but probably the best restaurant I have ever tried in the soho area! Quite contrary to some of the reviews, I found the portion quite perfect even for a man. A real gem and hidden treasure !!! The Chef / owner is someone who has real passion in food and strive for excellence at all time. I have already made two more reservations in July. (And don’t miss the dessert!!!!)
Lazy Sunday afternoon strolled by this small little shop, looks welcoming and gourmet so checked in. House wine only, bottle of prosecco, ordered Iberico pork belly and Hokkaido jumbo scallop pasta, wow! Nice treat, staff are friendly, laid back atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing moment!

令人嘴角上揚的流心系列
好幾個月沒來這裡了,之前想來吃那個夏季限定的楊枝甘露牛角包,最終也是沒吃到(哭)。今天與好友運動完就順便來吃冬天的新菜式,每每來這都有點小驚喜。

流心布拉塔芝士沙拉 $188
因為做完運動就想吃清爽一點的,所以點了這個新的流心布拉塔芝士沙拉,好像只是在menu 上一個月左右,這裡的食物除了好吃之外,擺盤也絕不讓人失望。 芝士的size 也不小,像拳頭一樣大。切開就會看到綿密的芝士,口感是很清爽的。底下有兩款車厘茄,紅色的就爽脆一點,橙色的就軟綿一點,拌了一點olive oil 和及醋,很開胃。 重點是這個!擺到最頂像明太子一樣的東西,原來是自製的蕃茄雪芭!整道菜雖然是很簡單的配搭,但是口感層次和味道上,都是和而不同的感覺。雖然以沙拉來講有點小貴,但絕對是值得。

冧酒栗子流心牛角包 $48
到了每次最期待的流心牛角包,這次冬季限定的冧酒栗子的味道。But the way海鹽焦糖是我永遠的最愛! 牛角包的質素是一如以往的好,外層微暖脆脆的,冧酒栗子的內餡是很出色,很有冬天的感覺。一吃下是滿滿的冧酒味,吃著吃著栗子的味道便會飄出來。這天氣涼涼的吃到這味道是會忍不住嘴角上揚。
Interesting selection of dishes, however the portion sizes are relatively small and in my opinion were not flavourful enough to warrant the small size or somewhat high price tag (although I see from other reviews there must be discount coupons available).
Our group of 4 also had a strange experience where we ordered 1 dish each but were only served one dish at a time and then served the next dish when the previous one was finished.
At first we didn’t quite realize what was happening as we thought maybe the chef needed time to prepare each dish and then sent them as soon as they were ready, but by the third dish we realized they must have expected us to share them rather than have one each.
This miscommunication would have easily been resolved by better service or a simple question (“are you sharing?”), and we probably would not have had to wait ~2 hours for the fourth dish to arrive. Not exactly “fast” gourmet.
The lobster bisque croissant is its signature – so good!! Lobster soup literally bursts out from the pastry when you take your first bite, absolute must try 👍 …
Small portions. Food is OK.
French cuisine delivered at a fast food speed. A new inspiration to the taste bud but the portion is not for the big eaters. Attentive service. The lobster bisque croissant is a good appetizer.
Don’t be misled by their name. This is actually a slow cook restaurant.
