New place with a great view. Seating is at the bar. Also have a small room for groups up to 6. Food is pretty good… Wish there was more and a 2nd dessert 😂 …

A newish restaurant in a newish building in Sheung Wan with a gorgeous harbor view.
It’s quiet inside – a single panel facing the chefs, hushed conversations but not so quiet as to become stern.
The food is beautiful – gorgeous variety of 11 courses with ingredients like sea cucumber, sea urchin, toro, fois gras, Sakura shrimp, matcha, kurobata pork, mantis shrimp. Each bite is textured and gorgeously executed. Each course is probably 3-5 bites but so, so, worth savouring.
The only faux pas I think I committed was not bowing back as the staff walked us to the lift/elevator, but I know now for next time! Menu changes monthly.

Awesome Design and Environment!
Just 2 mths since this charming restaurant opened on the top floor of this brand new building in Sheung Wan. We had their 11 course tasting menu – ingredients, flavours and thoughts have exceeded expectations. (These pics probably don’t do the food justice, would recommend this!)
As can be seen from the pics, the food is exquisite. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Got a nice view of the harbour too!

餐廳特別推介 流心花膠天婦羅，嚴選優質紐西蘭鱈魚花膠浸發後熬湯製成凝固狀，將米網紙包裹花膠以生榨芝麻油酥炸製成天婦羅，帶來外脆內軟且層次分明的效果。
食物的質素不錯, 但用調味料比較多, 比較似日法混合煮法，個人比較喜歡正宗日式割烹的味道。

Great Seaview! The weather was really nice when we came and the ambience was very relaxing.
The chef Kris was very attentive and the food was amazing. Highly recommended.

Enjoyed a good lunch at Wa-En Kappo. Good ambience with nice sea view.
I ordered deluxe lunch set. The only difference between deluxe set and standard set is the prior one have tempura. The tempura is average and small portion. And the tempura cost extra $320, just not worth it…. I strongly suggest to go for the standard lunch set.
Food is fresh and exquisite.
Took us a while to finally visit. Enjoyed every aspect from the quality of the food, to the impeccable service, the nice interior design and the amazing view of the harbor! Apparently the menu changes once every 1.5 months, we’ll be back … frequently!

Below average for what you’re paying for ($748/person for the standard lunch set). In short, you are paying for the view. The food and service were average at best. Hygiene level by the staff behind bar was questionable. Honestly a little perplexed by the number of 5-star ratings… would recommend nearby Uogashi instead.

從來冇試過去一間餐廳會食得咁唔開心。
成餐飯都食左差唔多$2600/pps 食物只係普普通通 只有一兩道菜係比較上特別少少 完全唔值得呢個價錢 以呢個價錢絕對可以食好更多嘅日本菜😔
而服務態度亦係我同朋友食過咁多餐廳最差嘅一次 服務員同經理態度十分惡劣 成餐飯係我哋面前不繼反白眼同俾說話我哋聽。最後連切蛋糕都唔俾 店員冇講出係咩原因 只係講左句:「err都可以嘅 但就唔建議」…從來冇試過俾咁嘅價錢食飯 會有咁惡劣嘅service..令我朋友有一個十分不愉快嘅生日😡
真係未試過食過一間餐廳態度可以咁惡劣嘅，絕對唔建議大家去食!!!!😡😡👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻
