Great set menu for lunch, including a soup, a stir-fry and rice. Really tasty and authentic soup, just like my grandmother used to cook! Feels healthy since it is less greasy and no Msg. Highly recommend to try!

Short walk from Sheung Wan MTR. Authentic home cooking type dishes quality prepared without MSG. Busy with mainly locals so we knew we had chosen wisely. Worth the wait to get in. Variety of dishes to choose from. Has many soups but unfortunately for us, many were sold out during the course of the day – we went for dinner but was after 7.30pm. I recommend overseas visitors wanting a quality home cooked style Cantonese meal to give this a try and order things you normally do not see on a menu as they obviously cater for those who wish to order things that are somewhat familiar to them too. Staff busy but do their best to be attentive, speak English and provide quick service – given they don’t want their customers waiting too long outside!

As the name suggests, the soup is uber authentic and honestly very well suited for a cold winter day. The dishes are well made and not salty. I would give them 4 stars if the price is lowered by ~30%…

吃了130$的蝦仁竹筒飯（？）和里面有木瓜的火海豹（？），我和老婆都很滿意。工作人員也很親切。味道不錯。相反，竹筒飯需要時間煮，所以我想我需要在上菜之前先喝湯來舒緩我的胃。我妻子給了我芒果麻糬作為服務，可能是因為她懷孕了，但我不知道他們是否單獨出售，但也很好吃。下次還想再去😁
Great little place to eat with food prepared in a charmingly rustic way. I ate here while staying at the Holiday Inn Express across the street. Ordered the steam chicken with Shiitake mushrooms. The dish was presented in the lotus leaf it was steamed in and had a delicate and well-balanced flavor. I also ordered the corn soup which was good. Service was fast and friendly. Prices were a bit on the premium side considering the portion size but I would say it is worth it. Enjoy!

My brother ordered takeaway last time and I think the soup was very tasty… the one I had was with apple and pear and the other one was with figs.
So I really looking forward to dine at this place. I came around 6:45pm on a Friday and got a place very quickly. People do tend to come eat and go so the waiting time was okay.
I was quite disappointed this time, maybe I ordered the wrong kind of soup 🙁 the soup was tasteless and when I took a bite into the pork, it taste like lemon washing up liquid. (The soup o ordered: $64 Coconut, chestnut chicken soup)
I also ordered a dish with crab-meat sauce on watercrest which was very tasty and the red rice was also good (but $12 for a little bowl of rice… a bit pricy.
At the end I am surprised they give you a free dessert. Sweet soup eight soy skin and barley and I really liked it.
Overall this place is a little pricy for food, but the price of soup is quite reasonable. I will come again to try my luck ordering different soup.
The environment is clean but is not somewhere you like to sit comfortably for chit chat. Is more like fast food but with service (no service charge).
