It will not disappoint you if you like carving beef.
Excellent carving beef, great choice of wine, value for money
The prime rib was prepared well, but the quality of the meat was sub par and lacked good beef flavor. Could possibly be a frozen piece. Price was a bit high for 10oz, but service was fantastic. The tuna tartare was small but on point. Lobster bisque was slightly on the bitter side, but packed with flavor and richness. Not sure why the playlist was all Disney movie songs — but didn’t mind it too much. Lunch seems to be a better deal.
Great lunch deal. A portion of roast beef and 2 sides for HKD98.

今次用餐係我其中一次比較差的用餐經驗。總結如下:
1. 本身book左位但去到都仲要等40-45mins (有一半時間係企係度等)
2. 落Order都要等15 mins (915分開始用餐、但10點到要食完)
3. 食物真係好一般 (我哋食完個肚唔係好舒服)
4. 上甜品,個餐跟甜品,突然同我講冇哂tiramisu,最後佢地上左其他甜品。最失望嘅位係 佢地為咗洗少一個碟,將我地甜品放埋同一隻碟要我地share黎食。但係我見到其他枱係分開碟仲加左雪糕。
唔太鍾意貴餐廳的差別待遇。服務真係要好好改善。食物如是。I hope they can improve their food and service quality.

The worst dining experience I’ve ever had.
首先安排座位奇怪,本身有個staff比咗兩張枱我哋揀,一張對住open kitchen,一張對住牆。我哋坐落open kitchen嗰張枱後,突然有人走嚟話張枱留比人影嘢,要我哋調去隔離枱
事後八卦返,如果你唔係佢哋請返嚟嘅foodie/熟客朋友,你就被安排坐係張對住幅牆嘅枱食飯
亦都見到佢哋搵咗好多所謂foodie打手係唔同social media吹捧啲嘢食影佢哋落truffle,事實上嘢食非常普通,未試過西班牙紅蝦意粉都可以煮到冇蝦味之餘仲要得半隻,同啲五六十蚊嘅cafe差唔多水準
呢個價位係中上環有非常多更好嘅選擇,唔使嚟呢度比人treated like a nobody

嚴選USDA Prime肉眼部位,色澤呈鮮嫰粉紅,肉質細嫰軟腍,帶適量油脂,牛味濃郁,再淋上牛肉汁🥩另有3款配菜:約克郡布丁外圍香脆,中間綿軟,容易吸收肉汁🥧;薯蓉口感綿密幼滑🥔;忌廉菠菜略有澀味,因為忌廉較稀所以較淡味🥬

烤雞主要以香草醃製,食落香惹入味,可以唧少少檸檬汁突出肉鮮🍋雞皮烤至金黃微脆,肉質嫩滑纖細,雞肉味濃,但未止於好juicy🍗以烤薯粒作配菜,口感外脆內綿🥔
💗Tiramisu
手指餅乾浸泡咖啡同冧酒,濕潤度啱啱好好,咖啡同酒香比例平衡,味道濃郁芳香☕️馬斯卡彭芝士忌廉輕盈奶滑,面層灑上可可粉,甜而不膩🍰
一般在高級酒店自助餐才看到的燒牛肉
牛魔王們在上環這家小店都可以吃到喇!
這裏甚至燒得要比很多酒店的都要多汁好吃
坐在吧枱甚至可以看到大廚切下軟嫩牛肉時刻
整頓晚飯下來視覺味覺都有驚喜(。•ᴗ-)
平常在上環上班的人也可以考慮他們的Beef in the box。$98就有燒牛肉和兩樣配菜,很實惠。

A solid 4 that could’ve easily been a 5. We tried the HK Restaurant Week dinner menu for $298 + 10%, which included a starter, main, dessert and a drink. Great value, IMHO.
Loved the beef tartare with pine nuts & chorizo, as well as the prime rib that we had as our main. Absolutely gutted that all our Yorkshire puddings came out undercooked – especially given how many of those beautiful, fluffy, delectable b*stards I’ve eaten during my boarding school days in the UK. It would’ve been truly nostalgic. All in all, I’m happy to give them another go!
Surprised with the low number of reviews, but that could be down to how easy it is to walk right past Carving. For those wondering, it’s located on the busiest junction in Sheung Wan on Queen’s Road Central.

Finely crafted exquisite dishes. Unforgettable! Very high quality dishes at an exceptional reasonal price! The atmosphere, the food quality and the services blow my mind away! Changed restaurant strategy is confusing original reviews online, the owner has changed in the last two months, and the new restaurant serves a contemporary tasting set instead. My wife and I had come for the roast steak, but the menu was a bite size tasting set only, there was no roast beef. Anyhow dinner set is yummy, and staff are friendly, with quick service. Also got to try a few saké too, with the manager introducing quite a few good ones. We sat at the bar table facing the open kitchen, and we smelled like the kitchen after. The menu selected is yumms and fresh, but a little pricey. Recommended for dates with a casual atmosphere.

今次食到一餐超精緻既料理,毫不單調,每道菜除左食材精緻,每道菜都好好有心思,
由設計到味道,都相當講究。
第一道菜-Kaviari Kristal魚子醬,半熟日本A5和牛大根沙律,和牛是肉眼位置,中間配有蘿白及紫菜,作為一道前菜,蘿白酸酸甜,而和牛相當香,當壽司咁食,相當開胃。
第二道菜-塩漬原隻蝦夷鮑魚配高湯凍
係一道凍盤, 鮑魚相當之鮮味,彈牙。個高湯凍係用高湯再做成果凍, 配合鮑魚既凍食,相當有心思, 凍盤都食到咸食。上面有啲柚子汁
第三道菜-三文魚子約克郡(布丁招牌約克郡布丁,三文魚子,明太子慕絲)
上面係用清酒浸咗嘅三文魚子,中間係明太子慕絲, 個布丁係新鮮焗起.
第四道菜-本枯節味來粟米吉士湯
鹿兒島嘅木魚花。粟米亦大冇來頭,味來粟米,味道非常甘甜,而且不只是甜,仲好大粒,相當有口感。
燒A5日本和牛(自家生曬蠣醬,時令日本蔬菜)和牛部位係牛後腰,蠔整出嚟嘅汁,配菜菇同䓤都係嚟自日本。和牛一向都正,油花重,每一口都有好重既牛香同牛味,令人食吾停口。而個個汁真係吾簡單,蠔味好鮮, 絕不是普通汁。
季節之魚介釜飯(舞茸,高湯醬油)
今日既季節魚係銀雪魚,
個飯用個小煲上,而裡面又真係有少少飯焦,
而個飯個醬油亦恰到好處,不會太多,銀雪魚個味留在係上面。
炙燒水牛芝士紅豆燒餅
十勝紅豆做餡,中間係煮過嘅Mozzarella Cheese。作為今日總結超滿足。

Carving is a place where you can enjoy a beautiful tasting menu with many varieties of dishes with prime ingredients like wagyu beef A5 from Kumamoto, botan Ebi and many others with beautiful Sake and wine. The music choice is a perfect combination to enjoy talk with your loves one and have a good vibes. I definitely will be back

Taste is ok, but nothing impressed us for the price they asking – almost 800HKD per person and they serve only by sets, you cant order separately.
Portions was small, especially for wagyu – only 5 small pieces.
Service is good!
Came here for the dinner full course meal $988 for 8 courses which was a pretty good deal.
However some dishes weren’t that impressive, the slow cooked wagyu and crispy amadai were my favorites. For the other dishes the combination or the technique was pretty basic.
After the course we weren’t full yet so we ordered the kaki ankimo tempura which was good, highly recommend trying.
Overall it was a delightful dining experience but food wise not too impressive to make me want to visit again.
