Dishes are delicious. Presentation very good. I enjoyed the starter and the pasta the most. Seating a little bid cramped though. A nice place to enjoy a bottle of Barolo or Brunero de Montalcino or both.

Pizza is decent and the buffet is not bad. Prices are relatively high and ambience could be better inside. The outside area is great to lounge and chat.

The service was good but the food was a little disappointing for the price range. We ordered the sea bass and linguine and both came out cold. Didn’t think it was worth it for the price we paid.

Went here ages ago for happy hours.
There was a good promotion for drinks and snacks which were quite filling especially the huge pizza.
Both food and service qualities are very good.
Absolutely fabulous appetizer buffet! I loved their salmon and cheese (they have three cheese selections) and filled up my stomach by the time we got our main menu. The main (ribeye) was also perfecrly balanced with the buffet.

This place used to be hot and excellent 20 years ago. We went for Sunday brunch. Order from the set otherwise appetizer buffet plus a regular main will set you 500+ HK$ per person. It wasn’t clear on the menu, but I knew that. The appetizer buffet is HK$200+ . The set was high HK$300+. Nonetheless the foods were average. Services were good.

Food was pretty good, but service was slow. The restaurant was not that full when we went, but our food took a long time to come out. I really enjoyed the dessert which was like a strawberry mousse. It was so delicious. I would highly recommend that dish.

Gaia is an institution in HK. It’s been here for many years and never fails to please, both the excellent and interesting contemporary Italian menu as well as attentive service. The portions are not huge but food quality is excellent, definitely up there with the best in HK in terms of fine dining.
P. S. The pizza is iny opinion the best in HK.
Great atmosphere and location
A comfy restaurant with semi buffet lunch. There was a great variety of antipasti to choose from, and all tasted delicious.

Just ordered a salad with blue cheese. It looks beautiful and quite enjoyable in the late afternoon.

Nice restaurant to hang out in and the food was good enough for the total experience. I always order the carciofi a la Guida, Deepfried baby artichokes.
They have a nice spread at the antipasto buffet. In fact, very nice.
Service is very good and unpretentious. They tried to accommodate all our requests, especially the table location.

Good food
Has it really been 20+ years already? Still feels fresh and it is certainly popular with the well healed business set. Certainly not many on a one hour lunch break. With that epic antipasti and lashings of red, all you need to do is remember that you need to leave some room for the main course and desserts…and then possibly not go back to the office.
Pretty decent restaurant and food was good too. Worth going back. A gem in Sheung Wan area.
