Good Italian food and a nice selection of products to buy. Service is slow and confused often making mistakes. A pity because the quality of the food is quite high.

Probably the best lasagna I have ever tried. The service was excellent and very fast. It is a bit on the pricier side but it’s fair considering that all the ingredients come from abroad. They also have a nice selection of italian products worth checking.
It looks a pretty cosy place to have lunch/dinner or simply a coffee.
I had the “Linguine al nero di sepia”, which is one of my favorites, ever and I got sick. I believe ingredients were nit fresh enough, so it might be worth checking, before choosing it.
If you go with a more classic dish, it might be less risky.
Personnel is nice and attentive.
Authentic Italian food. You can find the same specialities you eat in Italy, like burrata and mozzarella, tomatos. Pasta as well comes from Italy and it’s a premium quality label. List of wines can be improved. Service is good. Warn atmosphere.

Overpriced food, not really good in addition. Hurrendous service.. Pinot Grigio was introduced as Sauvignon Blanc..
Service charge 10% was included in the bill.. if I had a choice, I would have left zeroto to that person….

Small restaurant with friendly and cheerful staff with excellent smiles. Portions were just right and food was tasty. Nice ambience and good for romantic dinners or small groups.
I have been here twice for dinner and I tried both the tortelloni ricotta and spinach and the trofie with pesto and both were really good. Also the desserts (tiramisu, torta della nonna and sacher) were nice and fresh. For honesty my friend had carbonara and tagliatelle and while the former was good, tagliatelle were kind of stuck together and therefore not well cocked in some part, although the sauce was good. Generally speaking all the menu comes at a very good price considering it is Hong Kong, just the coffee is a bit too pricey. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Overall highly recommended for an evening with friends or a romantic dinner!
We just had a delightful Italian feast of beef carpaccio with arugula and freshly shaved parmesan, rich spaghetti carbonara, perfectly cooked tortelloni with ricotta and spinach, and tagliatelle bolognese. The atmosphere was cozy, the servers were attentive and friendly, and the food was delicious! Thanks to Il Bel Paese and the Entertainer app, which made it very affordable!

A neighbourhood delicatessen and restaurant specializing in Italian products. Has regular promotion of regional Italian cuisines and happy hour deal.
Great place for happy hour drinks. Drinks aren’t cheap, on par with Lan Kwai Fong prices, but there’s a spread of free snacks that are included with the drinks. The Italian grocery store has shrunken, but the selection is still decent.
Set menu was really tasty and filling. Great for an office lunch.
Been getting salad from the ifc shop. It’s so understaffed and the lady who works there today is damn slow

Spaghetti and rosotti ok, but portion too small , nice environment , but too close to the main road , a bit noisy . Olive oil on the table need exchange , because with expired taste .

An ok Italian in the CBD. The staff was friendly and service in general was good. The pasta was average, as shown in the picture way to much cheese on top of it. The salad was ok but the sauce was really average. The beer served was Peroni draft but it was totally flat. Overall 3 stars for a price to quality ratio. Nothing other than the flat beer was bad but there was also nothing that stood out as being great.
The food was tasty, but the lamb was a bit disappointing. I thought that the lamb accompaniments was not good enough.

所有混合拼盤都是油炸的。啤酒勝於酒～。我點的菜不多，但看菜單，沙拉的種類很多，可能更像是注重健康的Expats菜單。
我認為他們有美味的葡萄酒。
商店後部出售各種意大利食品，如葡萄酒、橄欖油和奶酪。生火腿也是現場切好賣的，能外帶也不錯。
It was hilarious .. 148 for a piatto di salumi but it’s not worth for it .. over priced on this point.

Possibly the driest carbonara I’ve ever had in my life. Staff are meh and not bothered to greet you or even smile when in restaurant (came in at 3pm) On leaving, nearly short changed by 100hkd!!! Interior is nice though.
A decent place that I go regularly for lunch. The pasta and antipasti are good.

il Bel Paese is a gourmet Italian food shop and restaurant on Queen’s Road in Sheung Wan. This is a nice place to pick up high quality ingredients and prepared food as well as to have a sit down meal. Opening hours are 10am to 10.30pm (Sun – Thurs) and 10am to 12am (Fri and Sat).
We quite enjoyed a recent lunch at il Bel Paese. Seating is spaced nicely and service was very good. For starter we tried their artichoke, spinach and sun-dried tomato salad (HK$98). This was a presentable serving, fair potion size and nice tasting starter.
For mains, we enjoyed their eggplant parmigiana (HK$118) and the Gnocchi with cheese sauce, truffle oil and arugula (HK$138). Both mains were fresh and tasty, making for a nice lunch. The Gnocchi in particular was much enjoyed. The cheese sauce was rich and coated the gnocchi well.
In the end, we were quite happy with our meal. Dishes are priced fairly and tasted pretty good. We’d happily reorder everything tried and would be interested to sampling more dishes at il Bel Paese in the future.

Great food and fast service. But the place is congested and it can think of expanding.
Great Pasta. Great value package between 2-5. 70 for a pasta.
Most of the dishes are delicious. Staffs are nice and the music is good. Very good place for a relaxing weekend.

My favorite place in HK in this area. Amazing food, great value, friendly stuff and nice atmosphere. Come here and you won’t regret it! They also sell meats, cheese and some liquors imported from Italy, also very cheap! I love it! Took all my family and friends here and everyone’s been very happy after the visit. Check it out!
